QUOTE OF THE WEEK

Our quote of the week takes us away from Footie a bit. This weekend I met another legend who is in the Class of Julio Iglesias. He has bedded over 500 women, I can vouge for that.
We were talking about certain things and "Going Down On A Babe" was the topic at some stage.
To which he replied.

"ITS NOT THAT BAD. ALL YOU HAVE TO DO IS JUST PUT A LITTLE CHARMBOUCY (Rememeber that ad back in the day, The custard they sell at woolworths) ON THE RIGHT PLACE AND DO YOUR THING"-car loss

WEEKLY SOCCER ROUND UP

GLORY GLORY MAN UTD!
Three out of three. I was sitting with the okes this week and speaking to my cousin Hoosain Mayet, an avid UTD Fan to say the least.

"I expect to see some unbias reporting on the weekend esp towards the 1st league leaders of the season-also maybe to mention to stick it to the Cocky Liverpool fans on why rooney is better than Crouch-They deserve credit-all you Muggs expected them to crack"
Hoosain Mayet-On Man Utd's Start to the season

Look I will give credit but I mean Come On, The opposition has been below par. They havent met the BIG BOYS YET. And is Rooney better than Crouch. You be the judge of that. But look they are the leaders and Well done to them for that. But it is just a matter of time before Saha starts firing blanks and the toppie Ferguson will rue signing a calibre Striker

GUNNERS POINT OF VIEW
Doesnt Danny Mills play for Man City. But then again Danny Mills played for England in the World Cup. Again Inconsistency f&*Ks up Arsenal's plight in the league. The camp seems to be unhappy. There seems to be a lack of Mohabbit there. These Muggs better Shape up and give me points in the Fantasy League

CHELSKI
Frank Lampard can score penalties. Hows the Chelsea Away Kit. Sublime.
After the slip at Middlesbrough these guys are too experienced to falter again. Mourinhos millions , Mourinhos Millions

FROM THE KOP END
A wonder Goal, No Inconsistency and Crouch to the rescue again. Liverpool slowly seem to be getting their act together and lets see some big things now. Cisse You MUGGS argueably have got a gem in the lanky Crouchy. Which leaves me to the question
HOW DO YOU RATE PETER CROUCH? WILL HE BE AN ASSET IN EUROPE? Can he emulate the likes of RUSH,Aldridge etc. These okes used to get you 30 odd a season.

The rest of the results showed a few surprises and expected results. Spurs all of a sudden were the talk of Midweek, And Now they were C&*k. Come on Mahmood. What are your views ?

EUROPEAN SOCCER ROUND UP.
Yet again no sms from Riyad Loonat. Why! Because they must thank Juventus that they could get a point. A SOLID midfield and defensive display but rarely threatening up front. Van Nistelrooy fired blanks again. Dont worry Mr Loonat UTD damaged this Lads career. Even Fatty Ronaldo, Pack him up and send him away now. Please I cant send that message every week that Madrid Are S*(t. My hands will get sore.
Valencia and Depor and other big Spanish Clubs advanced.

Bayern Munich. Please let Owen Hargreaves f&*k off. I dont undestand Clubs. Why do they want to hold on to owes that have no liss and heart. Even Ashley Cole . Arsene must boot the bas*@d.

The Italian Super Cup was a cracker, 4-3 to Inter. Thy came from three goals down and The Toppie Figo scored a Free Kick In extra time.

BREAKING NEWS: Roy Keane signs as Manager of Sunderland

So another weekend Goes and still a long way to go. Big Things are Still to come

FANTASY LEAGUE-ROUND THREE

MOOSA DANGOR YOU ARE THE DADA

Boys Round three is up and Moosa Dangor leads the pack. Moosa it will be a matter of time before your Man Utd MUGGS start playing s**). I find myself in 15th position and all my MUGGS flopped me out. Hopeflly Viduka will elevate me a bit. Things are tight and positions will change in just one gameweek. My cousin from London has entered (INFILTRATOR). He is a mad Liverpool Fan and I expect to see big things from him. My conclusion this Gameweek is that once the UTD MUGGS start selling There will be BIG things happening. And all of us, Anti UTD guys will start flying. Our Manager of the Month will only commence at the end of September. This is how the table is shaping up thus far.

CHAMPIONS LEAGUE GROUPS

The draw was made last night in Monaco and how were the chics. But this is footie. Deservingly Lehman picked up the goalkeeping award, Deco The midfielder award, Eto The Stiker Award and Puyol the defender award.
The groups I thought have been quite fair. With the exception of Group A .Whenever you play away I think its safe to say that anything is possible really. Nowadays Its tough to play away and get a result

Group A
Barcelona
Chelsea
Werder Bremen
Levski Sofia

Hectic Group. This time I think Mourinho is going to get blasted. Chelsea will have to be on top of their game throughout the group stages and the latter part. I should see Chelsea and Barcelona Through

Group B
Internazionale( JUVENTUS)
Bayern Munich
Sporting Lisbon
Spartak Moscow

Inter Thanks to Juventus in many ways along with Bayern to go through

Group C
Liverpool FC
PSV Eindhoven
Bordeaux
Galatasaray

With the way Liverpool started and their inconsistancy, Djibril & the boys you guys must be sweating. Going to Turkey is like going to Zoom on a Sunday Night. You never know whatcan happen. Hectic Place, Harsh Environment. Especially for the English. Djibrill you okes look like you playing UEFA This season

Group C
Valencia
AS Roma
Olympiakos
Shakhtar Donetsk

Roma & Valencia should easily advance here

Group E
Real Madrid
Lyon
Steaua Bucuresti
Dynamo Kiev

Riyad Loonat. There is Mercy for everybody in this Dunya. From going from great to f&**ing S$% & & With an influx of Juve players and the Italian Captain plus Mohamedou Diara I will expect more calls from you again and maybe see you more often. WHICH IS A GOOD THING. I wll just miss sending those messages "YOU GUYS ARE F&**EN SHIT"

Group F
Manchester United
Celtic
Benfica
FC Copenhagen

Do I have to comment here. Why is it that the UTD MUGGS always get the easiesy of Groups? Added pressure on them to perform now

Group G
Arsenal
FC Porto
CSKA Moscow
Hamburg

Arsenal & Hamburg are my bets here. Jives & Faaiz Oz. Dont worry you owes are not in the Pereshans.

Group H
AC Milan
Lille
AEK Athens
Anderlecht

Ya Ya. The theory of teasers. Njoy Milan, You guys dont desrve to be here, Let alone an easy group.

MUGG OF THE WEEK

Once Again. Difficult to pick a MUGG of the WEEK. We were sitting the other day and due to special requests I had to nominate this Guy. Of course when you are a Managers Son at Man Utd and you know that you will play even if you are Foc*&ng Shitte. I mean Guys lets be honest, the only thing that was good about this Guy was the blue Sharp Away Man Utd Strip at the time. Whatever happened to this guy. Where is he gone. I mean he played for Man UTD. He participated in the Theartre of Dreams. He is a Phlam pronounced FLUM. A PHLAM is that sporting Individual that was up there but had no right to be. He was up there because he knew somebody or was somebody family. This guy has inspired a new post which will be called PHLAM OF THE WEEK. Send me ur nominees please for the Phlam/MUGG of the Week. But NEVERTHERLESS A MUGG will always be a MUGG and this weeks MUGG is DAREN FERGUSON. Alex Fergson's Son.

SPURS THRU & THRU-INTERACTIVE

Finally a fan other than Liverpool and Utd. I would really like to Interview owes from Chelsea and Arsenal So if u owes are out there and want to share your thoughts with us for the season Please email me your teams that you support on naseem@mweb.co.za

Today we Have-MAHMOOD ACKHALWAYA : TOTTENHAM HOTSPURS

I tell you what it is finally great to get some input on the season from a Spurs supporter instead of Liverpool and Man Utd. Mahmod. You are one of the few supporters I know besides Ahmed Patel. And you are Week 1's leader in our Fantasy League. I am really interested to get your perspective on the coming season as well as to see what you have to say about Tottenham.

Swoosh: How long have you been a Spurs Fan?

Mahmood: Since 1981

Swoosh: Have you ever been to White Hart Lane? Or seen them Live anywhere?Do you remember when Spurs came to Swaziland back in the day. They played with Liverpool as TOTPOOL. Did you make the trip?

Mahmood: No I did not make the trip and see them live at any stage

Swoosh: I know Yusuf Bhamjee is your close mate? Do you think you guys will Fu#k Liverpool up this year. To me they seem to be very inconsistent. In fact If Djibrill Cisse was there you guys would have probably pumped them all the time? They seem to be gloating about there new signings. Bellamy, Gonzales, Penant?

And Chelsea, Arsenal and Utd?
Mahmood:Liverpool , Arsernal and UTD we can beat . Chealsea has always been a difficult side for us to beat. Last season we drew againts all the big guns .Utd got the most contraversal goal in the history of the league to draw with us.

Swoosh: Talk us through that whole fiasco towards the end of last season against Arsenal. Do you feel you were robbed of a Champions League Place? Was the tottenham team food poisoned?

Mahmood: I would like to think so but There is no conclusive proof of that. There are 38 games in the 38 we cant put all the blame on one games if we didn’t take our chances throughout the season.

Swoosh: There were some great Spurs Players in the previous years, Hoddle, Perriman, Waddle, Gough, Mabbut, Archibald, Ricky Villia, Gascoigne (The boy who beacme a man), Lineker, Ardiles. Who stood out for you as the best ever. Did I miss anyone else ?

Mahmood: I think for me the best player has to be Glen Hoddle. This vision on and off the ball and his long range pint point passing puts beckham to shame. Gascoinge, Maradona rated him as the best dribbler of the ball. Other great players for me were Gary Lineker , Klinsman and Gary Mabutt.

Swoosh: What was your best and worst moment as a Spurs Fan?

Mahmood: Winning the 1991 FA Cup finals againts Forest(Des walker scoring an own goal to give us the cup. Worst moment – the same game gascoinge ending his career with a silly tackle)

Swoosh: What do you think of Martin Jol. Is he the right man for the job? Mahmood: Yes , he is a good tactical man and a good scout of young talent.

Swoosh: There are some quality players, Robinson Lennon, Davids (After all a Juve Man)Defoe, Berbatov etc. What are their chances this year domestically and in Europe?

Mahmood: Domestically I think a top 5 finish for spurs is realistic and achievable. Europe anything can happen its very unpredictable atleast a quarter final place. Come on even Liverpool could Win after being 3 down (Yusuf just kidding if you 3 goals down to Milan and recover to win you deserve it)

Swoosh: Carrick to Utd.! You guys scored on the transfer Fee
I think the Toppie Ferguson is KLA Now. What would you say if he managed Spurs next year?

Mahmood: 18 million too much for Carrick. Ferguson for Spurs that will never happen.

Swoosh: Realisticly What are Liverpool, Arsenal, Utd, and Chelseas chances this year domestically and in Europe.

Mahmood: Domestically Liverpool and Arsenal are very inconsistant that makes it very difficult to keep up with Chealsea and UTD.But in Europe they could do better this year as they face one less Class Team (no JUVE!!)

Swoosh: Glen Hoddle. What a player. I think he is the one man to take Spurs to the Top? He has even Managed at the top level.

Mahmood: Glen Hoddle great Player, but as a manager he did miracles with the small clubs but failed with the big guns

Swoosh: There has been some sort of exodus at spurs as well. Carrick, Mahmood: Mido, Reid. Will they be missed?

No for 18 million we received for Carrick spurs can sign 2 midfielders in his place. As for Mido , We have a great strike force in Keane, Dafoe and Babertov

Swoosh: If you guys had to buy two guys from Liverpool , Who WOULD Mahmood: It be.Alonso and Riise

Swoosh: If I were to tell you Del Piero Is COMING to spurs. What would be your reaction?

Mahmood: Great a player of that calibre is always Welcome and he would be wise for him to retire in the big leagues and not in the Seria B

Swoosh: I know Spurs always has nice kits. Utd !What are they thinking. First the ANC Kit & Now This. You got to be joking. ?

Mahmood: The Glory day at Tradford seem to be gone this has to be another way for them to stay in the lime light.

Swoosh: What do you think Of Englands woeful performance in the World Cup.? I think Spurs had a lot to offer. Defoe, Carrick, Sol Campbell (EX spurs) Lennon, Jenas. Why the f(&k id he take Lennon off for Charagher. Changed the Positive mood on the pitch if you ask me?

Mahmood: Biggest mistake England made was they went without a fit striker . dafoe should have been in the squad.Wilcourt just because he is screwing the Mayor’s daughter he gets picked

Swoosh:
Darren Anderton. Terry Venables Son. Honestly Mahmmod I thought this guy was Overated? But Venables used to pick him time and time again. What was his influence for Spurs.

Mahmood: Yes he was over rated . not much of influence his nicknmae at spurs was “sick note” he was more injured then fit

Swoosh: What was the last big title spurs won?

Mahmood: FA Cup 1991

Swoosh: Can you pick your winners in the Champions League? Premiership ?

Mahmood: Champions league - Milan Pemiership - Chealsea

Swoosh: And World Footballer of the year?
Mahmood: Juan Roman Riquleme

Swoosh: Lastly Can you pick your All time Spurs X11 ?
Mahmood: Ray Clemence, Gary Mabutt, Periman ,Sol Cambell, Paul Gascoigne, Chris Waddle, Glen Hoddle, Ossie Ardiles, Ricky Villa, Archibald, Gary Linikar and Jurgen Klinsman

Thanks Mahmmod. Maybe Juve will meet you in the Uefa Cup Soon and pump you owes back down to earth.

Also if your okes VW'S are giving you okes grief and needs a service. Mamoods Brother Yusuf is the man. The man is sublime. When I had my Golf he was the chap to go to. Email me I will give you the okes number
Swoosh

SOCCER ROUND UP

The Champions League draw will be made today and the only thing that is missing really is Juve. Sad Indeed. But we need to look ahead now. I read last night that if the FIGC (Italian Football Federation) go to the High Court FIFA who does not permit any footballing body to go to the High Court will throw and suspend all Italian teams including the national team from All Competions. What K$%ts.
We accept the Punishment. But how can the others go to Serie A and we stay in B. Its in the class of a group of owes getting caught by their Chics going to a strip Club. Of the 5 owes 4 owes Chics give them a scolding and say its ok They can go to Teasers as long as they dont Touch.

My Chic on the other hand bands me from going Out at All. Makes me go to Southgate on a Saturday Night, Says I have to tell her I love her for the Rest of My Life, Buy her a shoe from Nine West Every Month. And take her to Villa Mora Every Night. While the other owes are playing Serie A and Champs League once in a while (TEAZERS) .ITS NOT F$%%EN FAIR. Its Hard to do this, Look at my Punishment and look at the others. They In Serie A, Im in B.

Do you see my point. now that I equate it to reality It is possible, only Gods Help. Im talking bout the story of the 5 Owes.

Anyways. All the Big boys through with the exception of Hearts and Ajax. No time for Muggs. Better they out now. You have once Chance You just gotta take it.

FROM THE KOP END
Cisse, Rashid Cassim & the rest of you Liverpool Muggs. Really Come On Now. You guys struggled. Once Again Crouch came to the rescue. Old Crouch does it again. You guys are becoming like Al Makah resturant. Superb one Night and f$%ken Shit the next. I just hope the theory of starting slow and finishing strong applies here.
A hint for success. Tell Benitez to phone Lippi and ask him How do you start slow and Finish Strong.

CHELSKI
THIS PROVES THEY CAN BE BEATEN. ASK MIDDLESBROUGH. Na the answer is Borough has Stuart Downing.

ALWAYS A GUNNER

One thing Azee you got to hand it to the Toppie for spotting talent. By the way I met Arsene at the Decorex Show in Midrand. The man is producing the goods. His big boys will recover from a HANGOVER (World Cup and start coming to the party.

THEARTRE OF DREAMS
SAHA-Where the f#$k did this bas$%rd come from. The dead. Some owes had so much pluk. They even put him in their fantasy league squad. How are these Muggs making such a good start to the season. This is as hard as telling a girl I love you on the First Date (PRAISING UTD). "CREDIT WHERE CREDIT IS DUE to Utd. Look im not a journo that is here to send sunshine up their Ass. Im anti utd & its my blog. I just cannot ever lower myself and praise them. But arrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr. Good Start to Hoosain Mayet, Seth, Azee and the boys. Thats why you guys are up their in the standings on the fantAsy league.

Mahmood Ackalwaya, You guys are looking Sharp. I always liked Bebatov form his Leverkuson Days. Remember they f*(*ed Utd up in one semi.

So looks like a good season ahead!

ROUND 2

Well Chaps Round 2 has gone by and I find Myself in f#$ken 13th place. But most of my owes were out of action in midweek. I see some rapid climbers. And what makes it worst is that Riyad Looonat, Hoosain Mayet, are ahead of me. Moosa Dangor entered the league yesterday and finds himself on top. The man emailed me yesterday and said that he will win this league. But once the Man Utd MUGGS start f#$$ing up, We will say goodbye to him. WOZA SA 2010 WOZA

As I have been speaking to Doctors, Lawyers, Skitters, Kebaabs the following topic has been highly debatable. Are we ready to host 2010. Do we have the infrastructure, the technical know how, the transport, the technology, the Logistics. The list is long but distinguished.
But guys are we ready to host the World Cup. Im f*&king not ready. IL GO BONKERS. These pics came especially from my cousin in London and he said "POST EM!WE WILL SEE IF YOU FOCKERS CAN HUNDEEL THEES!" Thanks IBBY LONDON for the pics

What is The Viewpoint on the Pakistan Cricket Scenario

Lots happening this week and believe it or not I was sitting at the zoo lake on saturday afternoon @ Moyo when I met another blast from the past. Mohamed Motala , Timber City. Im just mentioning it beacuse this man is dik with the Pakis. He was confident that they will sweep the 4th test. Then this morning Joffes Maboi says that the English won the test because of ball tampering and the Pakis refusal to take the wicket. I mean what the F$%(.

I need to be more clued up on this ball tampering scenario. This Darell Hair blames Murali for Chucking. Resorts the man to tears and never to play in Austrailia again. Let us not forget the time he blatantly HUNG South Africa Down Under. I mean is this guy a MUGG or what.

This is bizzare. Is it the unpredictable Pakis.
One can remember the Inzamam run out last year. Inzi didnt attempt a run and was given out by Hair.
Azee and Mombhai. What the f*$(. I mean the owes should have stayed on and played even though Hair is a MUGG. They should have stayed on and we could have all had supper at TAJ PALACE. Fu#k the owes up on the pitch I say

This was the captain Inzys response to the fiasco

Inzamam also told private GEO television that the International Cricket Council (ICC) should not let Australian umpire Darrell Hair take charge of any more matches involving Pakistan.

"The pride of the nation has been hurt, we have been unfairly labelled as cheats," Inzamam told GEO, explaining for the first time why he led the dressing room protest on Sunday.

"It's not a question of myself and my team, it's a question of my country. So we decided to protest and no player was ready to play
I open the floor here on this one as well.

QUOTE OF THE WEEK

"I was in Cafe Caprice in Cape Town the Other Day. I just find myself at peace in that place. I was sitting down and having a Jack & Lime. All of a sudden Minki Van De Westhuizen walked in. I looked up at Minki. "I SAID, MINKI HI". She said "Hi". I said "Minki! I dont like Graeme Smith!! Im a BRIAN LARA MAN" (getsure of hitting a cover drive with hand"

WEEKLY SOCCER ROUND UP

GLORY GLORY MAN UTD!

YOH!!! I must admit I never expected the Utd MUGGS to put out a performance of that stature. I have been Lambasted in the past for being too bias. But look Credit where Credit is due. Rooney and Ronaldo look to have settled their squabbles and start the season off with a bang. I must admit I thought that the toppies days are numbered. (Fergerson). Rooney and Saha shone on the night. 5-1 against Fullham. Thats a good result.

Regarding the Ronaldo and Rooney Saga, Ferguson had the following to say
"The duo were believed to have fallen out after the World Cup controversy involving Ronaldo's part in Wayne Rooney's red-card against Portugal back in July. However, that all seems a distant memory now as the duo celebrated together today.
"They linked up together on numerous occasions," said Fergie. "You could tell he and Wayne are the best of pals.
"People are always looking for a scapegoat but even the Fulham
fans stopped booing Cristiano in the end."
He added: "I think they acknowledge the boy is a wonderful player."

But still early days and there were quite a few upsets like Spurs loss againt Bolton and some aother shockers.

A GUNNERS POINT OF VIEW
Look the Toppie Arsene has an eye for the game. But you cant slip up like this. They say in life the small things count and this is what Arsenal always end up doing. It will be the one aspect that comes to haunt them. The only thing Good I found was the Stadium. They have to be more assertive and stamp their authority on the game.

CHELSKI
What is their honestly to talk about here. Did anyone expect anything different. I ask again. Can these bastards be beaten. Its like Roger Federer only with no Rafael Nadal. Well Done Terry. The man is a natural leader and has shot my points up in the Champions League.

FROM THE KOP END
Which leaves us to the last. I think most of the Liverpool MUGGS were at the Istima this weekend and yet another inconsistent display. I am now convinced that Liverpool are in close comparison with Pakistan. Another woeful and Inconsistent penalty late in the game which was apparantly dubious to begin with. You guys know Sunderland. Ya, man thats the team that Nial Quin used to play for back in the day. Lucky Daryll Heir wasnt a premiership referee He would have no balled them for playing SH%TE.
I am honestly worried about Macabi Haifa

European Round Up
Barcelona are my favourites for the Champions League. Look at their team for crying out loud. Belletti, Zambrotta, Thuram, Messi, Ronaldinho, Puyol, Xavi, Eto, Il stop there. That is why they have another trophy nin the cabinet.AGAIN

BREAKING NEWS
Bobby Robson is undergoing an operation to remove a brain tumour

FANTASY FOOTBALL-ROUND 1

MAHMOOD ACKALWHAYA .YOU ARE THE DADA IN ROUND 1

The league has kicked off and surprisingly I find myself in 7th spot. Yup, there are some big boys here. We hope to get more owes involved as time goes by. I know for sure that most of my owes are still going to put teams. This one is the BEST OF THE BEST. And to pick a worthy winner is going to be tough. Judging from the owes I know and their soccer backgrounds and especially the TEAMS THEY SUPPORT, My predictions for the top three is as follows:
1. Riyad Loonat .The mans Madrid Kit for his team says it all. Shades of Vicente Del Bosque I presume. If he manages like Del Bosque, the man should reach top spot.
Joint Second I will go for Azee Moola and Husein Mayet. These okes are emulating Fergusons feat in the nineties. As long as they dont buy MUGGS like Fortune my prediction stands. Azee sorry no offence intended. I still back you as second

3 . Mombhai. Mohammed Carrim definately has the composure and technical know how in the class of Bob Paisley. I expect to see big things from him

The rest of us are the dark horses. first rounds up and Mahmood Ackalwaya you beauty. You are top of the log with f&**ing 70 points. Thats a good start. Zahier Joosub is 2nd on 55 and Azee Moola 3rd on 52 points. Early days I guess. But with Midweek games coming up, Im not going to reveal owes players and signings on this blog YET. This is how things are shaping up in Round 1.

SOUTH AFRICA-CRICKET UPDATE

Guys, I want to know what are your views on the current South African Cricket Situation in Sri Lanka. First of all we got pnished in the test series. Lets face it. And we probably would have got hammered in the one day series as well. I want to open the floor to a couple of debates.

1. Have we deteriorated as a cricketing powerhouse lately?
2. Should the team have abandoned Sri Lanka?
3. Maybe Sanjay Gupta has a cut in the 17 Million Rand Fine
4. Muralli and that Owe with the hair Malinga Bandara would have f*(ked us up alone, not to forget Jawardena. (Thats because there is no Docksides in Sri Lanka & Murali couldnt bowl any Doosras to the Cape Town Chics.

Jokes aside cricket pundits. Let me hear your guys take on this current episode.
Elsewhere The Pakis finally show their dominance. And like I said earlier when they Hot they fu#@ing Hot.

The STARS headlines read "CHICKEN " after all

And HASH What A Chap he is. I stand to be corrected but on his Radio Interview he said that His religeon allows him to forgive and that He told Jones that he hopes the press will take it easy on him.
Minutes Later a guy phones in and commended Hash on his virtues and manner in which he answered the interview.

Well Done Hash. You truely are an ambassador for the Muslim Youth and We support you as always. Hash has accomplished what many of us dreamt off. Representing his Country with his deen being steadfast, makes him an icon in our community with both young and old- I KID YOU NOT..........as for Dean Jones and the commentary team -MUGGS of note.

INTERNATIONAL SOCCER ROUND UP

Come On England! Come On England!

England 4 Greece 0
I must admit Steve Mclaren and Terry Venables, This duo has the ability to take England all the way to Euro 2008 Glory. El Tel has just got that something. The midas touch. Venables is like a typical Indian Buisnessman. Whatever he touches turns to Gold, If he sells blankets he'll do well, If he imports/exports he'll do well, If he opens up a Fontana he will do well. Azee This time Im telling you two years in advance. Its Englands Euro Champs. They have got the right GEL if you may call it.
It was a good England Victory on the whole. That boy Lennon is something else. Quick, Nippy. The loss of Becks didnt seem to affect England and I think Becks will work himself back in the team.
What are your owes views on Peter Crouch. Some say he is k#$ , Others say they need him. What is your owes view on Crouchie?
But its early days and guys just playing themselves in so we cant really read into the results. The big weekend is here. The Istima Im talking about.

Germany won 3-0 against Sweden. Klose on target with 2 again. Man Utd . Take this guy away from the Bundesliga and the most horrible Commentator in the World, The Bundesliga Commentator.

France won 2-1 and Italy I thought played terrible. Even though they wasnt any of the World Cup Stars on board, Donadoni I think is not up for the Jobs demands. But we won the World Cup so who gives a f$%k anyway. Lets see what the Premiership entails when the weekend kicks in..

THUNNIE INTERACTIVE-RID ONE THOKAN

I have managed to secure the interview of the Maradona of Thunnie, Rid-one Thokan. I met the oke in Midrand on Saturday and informed him of all the banter thats happening with the Thunnie situation as well as the call for a big one. He was quick to act and said Swoosh snd the interview. Let me see what the bastards have to say. I was priviledged to get an interview from a true fu$*ing Thunnie Legend. Here is what he had to say:

swoosh: Firstly. How is Shaka (Pele). Do you guys still punish owes as regurlarly as before?
rid-one: Swoosh, thanks for the interview. Unfortunately I still see a lot of that punk, fortunately not as often as before. We punish twice a year – generally when my wife goes home I have a get together of about 10 great punishers in my house…normally a week day and we play till about 2 in the morning (what can I say we getting old!) Normally myself, shaka, Big Mo, Zubair, Neesalin, Sivanesan, Dean and some other punks.

swoosh: I remember back in the day, Every Friday was against Mollies & Ballie. Punishment on a Friday Afternoon?
rid-one: When I started at WITS, Friday afternoon was steps. Virtually the entire Indian community would meet up there, the atmosphere was amazing. I cant ever remember leaving WITS on a Friday afternoon before 5. It was the highlight of the week

swoosh: Do you know Gknotts & Gminty. The reigning Thunnie Champs of Wits?
rid-one: Don't know and don't want to know these punks…last year my cousin Zaakeer had a 21st and he brought some of these fong kong thunnie players with Egos almost as big as Bilaal Coovadias (now that's saying something…) My cousin Jameel and I punished them and stripped them of the little dignity they appeared to have. Never want to play against C grade beginners like that again – and they were supposed to be players of callibre in this generation of cell phone addicted youngsters who probably don't even know what a real canteen at a real university should look like…Matrix? No thank you, I don't want Sandton in a University – RAU already has that (PS What do RAU and Rhodes students have in Common? They both got rejected at WITS)

swoosh: Do you think the standard deteriorated since ur departure?
rid-one: I believe so – there are some up and coming young lads who say that they've seen 2 or 3 no call kanaks! That just speaks volumes about the standard of the opposition. Remember that the Bradman of Thunnie, Shaka, NEVER got a single no call kanak throughout his illustrious career. (He called it once but unfortunately Big Mo was up to the task, caught us out and bowled our asses!)

swoosh: You played against many greats in ur time and its a priviledge to have ur interview. Talk us through the punishment you guys dished out in your time. The standard was high. Zoobair & Momo, Nielan & Sivaneson, Saleem & Kaveer,Naiker, Mollies & Ballie, Chictay,Berlal & Lity, Big Moh, Mazolls, Willem, Junky. I mean these owes were big at the time? I know the Corvadio brews told me alot of times that they punished Rid One & Shaka
rid-one: The Coovadia brus punished us many times – pity it was all in their dreams. I used to dream of Ferraris and naked women. Shaka used to dream of qualifying as a vet. The Coovadias used to dream of beating us in Thunee

The 1st punishment me and the great Shaka ever dished out was to ou Nizaam from Pietersburg. I finessed his 9-pair with my Jack/Ace by playing my ace and drawing out his pair. Then used my jack to steal his 9. He was flabbergasted since he never knew of such a finess move. Next game he had a nine pair again. I pulled with ace. He thought I was trying to finess him again, so he put his 9. Only this time shaka had the Jack. Few weeks later he admitted that he was so intimidated that he NEVER wanted to play us again

Another memorable event was giving Zubair "You'll never 20 kanak me" Coovadia his 1st taste of a 20 kanak. He ended up getting 5 that week.

Molis, Dean, Sivanesan and Neesalin were very intimidating to play against. Momo was the master cheat in setting and stealing. Big Mo had a huge presence on the game.

swoosh: What was the feeling when you owes punished first years, The Beckhams, Zidanes, Owens of the time. Did you guys teach the bastards a lesson. I know many owes lay claim to say that you guys collected?
rid-one: We never played 1st years if we could and were quite selective against who we played in general (I mean you don't get Real Madrid agreeing to play Fordsburg FC do you?). Only when some of the bras started leaving campus did we revert to playing rubbish opposition. I remember once Momo and me were playing against a 1 st year chick form Rustenburg. Her chommies were walking past the stairs and said "Oh I cant believe it. Her dream came true, she's playing against them" It was indeed an honour and privilege to play us. Punishing quality opposition always gave me a lot more pleasure

swoosh: Do you think the lities of today(C Ronaldo, Podolskis, Ronaldinhos) are up to it. If the big tournament has to be hosted?
rid-one: The proof will be in the pudding – so far I have seen nothing to make me shake in my boots

swoosh: Owes are calling for the Mother of tournaments, The World Cup of THUNNIE. Kabeer Goor wants to bring Deggs and Stuff like that. You owes obviously will be there. And number 1 seeds. Will there be added pressure or will you owes F*ck the owes up like the good old days.?
rid-one: I heard of it, should be a brilliant get together, he tried to do it last year – I hope it does materialize. We will just need to change the format a bit. Let all the teams play together till you get a preliminary winner. This winner can then challenge me and Shaka in the final…I don't quite like these competitions – there is too much for me to loose and not that much to gain

swoosh:When the World Cup approaches who will you take into battle with You.
rid-one: The great Shaka
swoosh:What was the Most memorable moment in Thunnie for You. In other words WHICH MUGGS did you owes wush, kanack etc. Who were your owes Geraaks time and time again.
rid-one: "Kaveer, come down" Neesalin and Sivanesan setting up Kaveer in the Final. Intimidating him into coming down in the final and 4-bowling him to claim the title.(If he didn't come down he would have won the tournament as a call and loss would have defaulted it to him)

Also, Kaveer and Salim winning the tournament on Friday, only for me and Shaka to wipe the smile off their faces with 2 washes on Monday morning

Zaheer "Fuck you Shaka, I opened 6" Bhoola

Bowling Mazollo and Haajee for claiming kanaks before checking for outstanding calls – this was at least a weekly occurrence and the punks never learnt their lessons.

Bowling Mazolo when he used signs on the verge of washing me (He was leading 11-0 and had all the Jacks but couldn't resist calling for a signal from Haajee)

Intimidating Bilaal Coovadia so badly that he threw a chair at me in the canteen

Me and Shaka playing Neesalin and sivanesan in the Canteen, All the soola ous supporting us, all the guji ous supporting them. The atmosphere was electric and the crowd was huge – the people in the back had no chance of seeing any of the action. And no one was allowed to talk until the game was over.

swoosh:And the Worst Loss?
rid-one: Mmph..getting washed or 20 kanaked was particularly embarrassing and would ruin your form for the whole week. No particular loss stands out though

swoosh: Do you remember the phrase "RID ONE, I TOLD YOU CANT PLAY WITHOUT ME (HSS TOURNEY) You dont have to answer this one.
rid-one: He he. No answer

swoosh:Where did you owes punish most bastards, The Canteen or the steps?
rid-one: Canteen was serious and for business – stairs was less serious and more for pleasure

swoosh:Lastly Rid-one, What are you predictions if the world Cup of Thunnie has to be held? What do you think Shuld one be held to separate the men from the boys.
rid-one: It has some value, but will never make you a legend. Remember that a guy like Shaka never entered a single competition yet he stands head and shoulders above the rest. Winning a little trophy will never give you the X factor

Thanks Ridone-You were indeed a legend in your time. I can Vouge that you owes ounished alot of Muggs in the day

QUOTE OF THE WEEK

I was sitting and having dinner on Friday night with my okes when the following comment was made regarding Anti Man Utd Fans

“They are all a bunch of ABUs – Anyone But United”
–Hoosain Mayet in response to those that oppose Old Trafford

FROM THE KOP END-INTERACTIVE

Todays Interview comes from another die Hard Liverpool Fan. This man is from the Kop End and he has been for years. I was interested to hear his views regarding Liverpools chances this year. He has also been to Istanbul and seen the Reds Lift it

swoosh: Zee since how long have you been a Liverpool Fan?
zee mayet: Since I could kick a ball

swoosh: Have you ever been to Anfield?
zee mayet: No

swoosh: Who was the greatest ever Liverpool Player?
zee mayet: Stevie Gerrard’s got be up there

swoosh: What did you think of Graeme Souness, When he single handedly f&*ked Liverpool up as Manager?
zee mayet: How the F@#k does he still manage to get a job as manager.
( Newcastle learned the hard way)

swoosh: What has been Liverpools best signing in the past four years to date?
zee mayet: Xabi Alonso, this oke is one of the most clinical passers of the ball.
Has the ability to bury freekicks from 30 yards out.

swoosh: I see you went to Istanbul, as per ur pics. Tell us how was it when they were three goals down?
zee mayet: If I never see another football game live for as long as I live it will be fine.

swoosh: And 3-2. What did you think ?
zee mayet: Let alone 3-2, the minute they scored the 1st there was a sense of feeling around the stadium that we were about to witness something GREAT!

swoosh: 3-3 extra time & Penalties. Must have been Sublime
zee mayet: It was an unexplainable feeling!

swoosh: What did you think of Liverpools ARID ORANGE KIT?
zee mayet: The battle armour is fine

swoosh:Was it worse than Man Utds ANC KIT?
zee mayet:Lets be honest I don’t think anyone can answer yes to this

swoosh: WHAT do you have to say to the UTD MUGGS. Do you think you guys will f*((k them up? .
zee mayet: Of Course

swoosh: Okes are blaming Liverpool Players for Englands exit. What are ur comments on this!
zee mayet: Maybe if England can keep 11 players on the field for the duration of 90min,
There wont be a need for a shoot out.

swoosh: What are ur views on Rafa . Will he ever be a Bob Paisley?
zee mayet:Paisley and Shankley were great, In those days I think the playing fields were more even. Taking into account Chelsea’s Dominance, cos of the power of money. Rafa is a master tactician and given his limited resources he has achieved the best that is realisticly possible.
Remember he has out-thought Jose on every big matchday

swoosh:Dont u think there is too much of a Spanish Influence as opposed to the Liverpool squad of the 80's . Team of the decade?
zee mayet:The balance in the side is still OK, we not in the category of an Arsenal.
N F@#k we not English we just support the club who gives a damn how many of them there are in the team.

swoosh: What do think of Rafa signings so far?
zee mayet: Bellamy might be a good propect, seems like a suitable replacement for the once fit Mikey Owen.

swoosh:How could you guys not gone for AIMA, TREZEGOL, IBRAHIMOVIC
zee mayet: We spending our money on a stadium, just don’t have the 15-20M to splash on 1 player.

swoosh: Pick out your stars for the season.18. Dirk Kuyt? Talk us through this
zee mayet: Gerrard the mailman, always delivers.

swoosh: What are ur Predictions in the Premiership? Be honest. So I can f$$% u up come end of season?
zee mayet: 1 chelsea 2 Liver 3 ARS 4 Man u

swoosh: And Champions League?
zee mayet: We can make the final again

swoosh: Do you honestly think Chelsea can honestly be beaten. With Ballack & Sheva
zee mayet: European Chokers

swoosh: If I were to tell you that Del Piero was coming to Anfield. What would be ur views?
zee mayet: His a has been, prefer ROBBIE

swoosh: Lastly will you pick the greatest evr Liverpool team throughout the footballing era?
zee mayet:Bruce Grobbelar 2. Jamie Carragher 3.Steve Machmahon 4.Mark Wright 5.Jason Mcteer 6 Kenny Daglish 7. Stevie Highway 8. Steve Gerrard 9. Ian Rush 10.John Barnes 11.Peter Beardsley

Thanks You Muggs are lucky that Juve are not there in the Champions League. We would have punished you owes this time around

FROM THE KOP END-LIVERPOOL R THERE DADAS

Once again Liverpool has made synonymous the phrase "WE ARE THERE DADA'S". They have proven again and again that Chelsea are definately beatable. I must admit I havebeen watching Chelski over the past two weeks in pre season as well and Shevchenko definately is a class Act. To me the man definately justifies his 30 million pound price tag. I am equally impressed with Liverpools signings Gonzalez and Bellamy etc. This season definately is gearing up for a cracker. Cisse you beauty. You must be in your glory with all the other Liverpudians.

Mourinho was reportedly upset because of the International Schedule next week and was moaning as usual about his squads lack of preparation due to World Cup and as I said International Friendlys in a week. But this just proves that even with Abramovich's millions these MUGGS can be beaten.
But on the whole Charity Shield or no charity shield it is Silverware at the end of the day and the Liverpool guys were happy.

Cisse was probably smiling, Rashid Cassim phoned me straight after the game . The few supporters that phoned me . These were there words

"I told you Chelsea are nothing...We gonna beat them"
Ebie J

"Theres only one john arne riise!we only just starting to open the wastegate onthe turbo..."
Naeem Fakir

"Do you have any more cabinets to keep the trophies in. Ours are getting a bit full."
Rash Cassim

So first blood to Liverpool.

Also Okes we forming our own fantasy league on this site. Enter this league and the Winner will be rewarded. In this league You will be up against the Best Of the Best. Will keep you posted though.

Im on 4 days leave so I aplogise for the late updates. I will be relaxing in Sandton, having breakfast and waiting for HAAGENDAZ to open.Watching all the hotties and Saying to myself "HOW COULD YOU POSSIBLY GO TO WORK ON A DAY LIKE THIS!!!"

Now that the season is underway I just had to put this piece In. Juve are out of the Coppa Italia and this elimanates any chance of Europe next year. Del got a brace and we will soldier on.

MILAN, Aug 30 (Reuters) - Juventus might drop their appeal against a match-fixing ruling that demoted them to Serie B in exchange for a lesser penalty, a source close to the Italian club said on Wednesday.

Dropping the appeal could clear the way for the start of the Serie A season, which has been delayed by two weeks to Sept. 9 as Juve appeal to a civil court against a sports tribunal's ruling that sent them down to Serie B with a 17-point penalty.

This is what dreams are made of .

FROM THE KOP END-INTERACTIVE

Today we see what another Liverpool Stalwart has to say about Liverpool. Mohammed Carrim Mombhai is a loyal blogger of mines and he has been an avid Liverpool Supporter for a long while now. Even though he used to Hang Around with Dooj who always used to have a blue Arsenal Away top while he was MAALING. Mombhais Intervew was before last nights woeful performance against Haifa

swoosh: How long have you been a Liverpool Fan?
mombhai: Ever since I started watching football…. I was around 8 or 9

swoosh: Have you ever been to Anfield?
mombhai: Yup, did the whole tour etc, saw the changerooms, trophies, etc… also saw a premiership game, Liverpool v Newcastle in December 2004…. The boys came from behind to win it 3-1… absolutely special…. I sat next to the Kop….Joining the fans sing You’ll never walk alone as the boys ran out was sublime (in your words)…. Anfield rocks, I can only imagine what it must be like on the European nights….

swoosh: Who was the greatest ever Liverpool Player?
mombhai: Has to be King Kenny….. I never really saw much of him myself, but from what I’ve read and from footage I’ve seen…. Has to be Kenny Daglish… hope Stevie G can go on to win the champs league again and a few more FA cups and some premiership titles…if he does in 10 years time my answer will be Stevie G ;-)

swoosh: What did you think of Graeme Souness, When he single mombhai: handedly f&*ked Liverpool up as Manager?
Just goes to show that great players don’t always make good managers…. But he was a great player for LFC

swoosh: What has been Liverpools best signing in the past four years to date?
mombhai: Probably Alonso…. But he was also one of our more expensive signings at around 10 million quid… in terms of value for money, guys like Sissoko, Finnan and before that Hyppia were very good signings…. But watch Gonzales… I expect big things from him

swoosh: Istanbul,Tell us how was it when they were three goals down?
mombhai: Upset, but still had a little hope…. There was just sumtin about that season in Europe…. I was thinking about Stevie’s goal against Olympiacos earlier in the campaign… so I still had hope... but was shocked and shattered as well

swoosh: And 3-2. What did you think
mombhai: Milan are on the ropes now…. Lets go on and win it boys !!!
8 3-3 extra time & Penalties. Must have been Sublime
Un-F#$kin-Believable !!! I was watching the game with some of the owes….. myself, Gaba and Cajee were the LFC supporters… and it was great watching how fu#$ed and disappointed the Milan guys were…. There were some die hard Milan supporters with us – Boda, Popeye and Habib…

swoosh: What did you think of Liverpools ARID ORANGE KIT?
mombhai: Better than United’s

swoosh: Was it worse than Man Utds ANC KIT?
mombhai: No

swoosh: WHAT do you have to say to the UTD MUGGS. Do you think you guys will f*((k them up?
mombhai: I don’t see why not…. I keep telling Azee that the topie (alex) has lost the plot… he is getting old now…. The scum will never dominate English football like how they did in the nineties ever again !! Even with that domination, LFC are still officially the English team of the century !!!

swoosh: Okes are blaming Liverpool Players for Englands exit. What are ur comments on this!
mombhai: Jealousy makes you nasty… Crouch was more than decent and Stevie did no wrong…. Sven messed up, that’s the bottom line… and other big players like Lampard and Rooney also messed up…. Any honest owe will admit that the LFC players were not the ones who caused it

swoosh: What are ur views on Rafa . Will he ever be a Bob Paisley?
mombhai: Rafa is a great manager, tactically one of the best around…. He has turned LFC around in his 2 seasons here… his real test is this season now…. If he keeps improving….we will win a lot under him…. He’ll need to a do a helluva lot to match Bob…. He has the potential and the squad, so hopefully he can take us there…hopefully Rafa and Stevie will be as successful as what Bob and Kenny were

swoosh: Dont u think there is too much of a Spanish Influence as mombhai: opposed to the Liverpool squad of the 80's . Team of the decade
Not really, its natural for a manager to go for players that he knows or to get players from leagues he is familiar with…. Like Wenger did with the gunners…. In the 80’s there weren’t as many foreign (non-british) players in England …. Times have changed

swoosh: What do you think of Rafa’s siginmgs so far?
mombhai: I like them…. Rafa is known not to overpay in the transfer market…. He also has limited funds that he is trying to use to buy a few players… he has strengthened areas that need strengthening… pennant at right wing….bellamy up front…. Aurelio at left back… palletta as cover for Centre back… and we finally got Gonzales work permit sorted…. Most importantly, all these player have lots of pace…. We probably still need another striker… seems like it will be Kuyt

swoosh: How could you guys not gone for AIMA, TREZEGOL, IBRAHIMOVIC?
mombhai: Rafa enquired…. But they were probably too expensive or rafa probably felt they wouldn’t fit into his plans….they good players, but the gaffer felt they not right for LFC...either way IN RAFA WE TRUST
.
swoosh: Pick out your stars for the season
mombhai: Expect Gerrard to deliver more of the same…. And Bellamy to get us the goals… also think Gonzales will become a hit at anfield
.
swoosh: Dirk Kuyt? Talk us through this
mombhai: We need another striker… and rafa has been monitoring him for a while…. I only really saw him play when he played for the dutch in the WC…. But he is still fairly young and already has an impressive goal record…. 70 odd goals in 3 seasons is good in anyone’s book in any league… but once again, IN RAFA WE TRUST

swoosh: What are ur Predictions in the Premiership? Be honest. So I can f$$% u up come end of season!
mombhai:Liverpool to win it with 89 points…. I honestly think our time has come…. Lets just say that I will be truly disappointed if we don’t finish a few points behind in 2nd at the very worst…

swoosh: And Champions League?
mombhai: LFC will make the semi’s atleast….think Madrid, Chelsea and Barca will be there too...if Milan are allowed to play... they will push to do well in Europe too..... if i have to choose a winner, i'll say Madrid - Cappello will turn things around there this season

swoosh: Do you honestly think Chelsea can honestly be beaten. With Ballack & Sheva?
mombhai: Ofcourse they can, I admit they both excellent players…. But it also means Jose will have to consider changing his successful formation and some players might get upset about not being in the starting 11 etc…. plus, they started to falter abit towards the end of last season…..Jose is already starting to say that LFC are not title contenders and that the charity shield is just a friendly that he won’t take serious etc etc etc…. the way I see it, the only reason he keeps talking about LFC is because he fears us…. We knocked them out of the champs league and FA Cup (and went on to win both)…. Next we knock them of their league pedestal too…

swoosh: If I were to tell you that Del Piero was coming to Anfield. What would be ur views?
mombhai:Not a bad signing… he has class and experience… similar to when Houllier signed Litmanen and McCallister a few seasons back…. Good guys too have on the bench and in the chageroom…. (before you get all up-tight… I’m not saying these guys are in Del’s league… just similar type of signing in terms of age, needs for the squad, etc…)

swoosh: Lastly will you pick the greatest evr Liverpool team throughout the footballing era?
mombhai: Since LFC had so many great players in the 70’s and 80’s (either before I was born, or while I was very young), my selection would be based purely on what I’ve read etc… was Hansen better than carragher….Is owen or fowler better than rush ??? its tough for me to know this…. All I can say that of the current generation…I’m sure Stevie G would be there… and had Owen not left for Madrid when he did… he would probably also have been there…… of the other legends, barnes and rush were the only others that I saw play for LFC that would probably make it….there were too many others… souness, daglish, clemance, nicol, Whelan, lawro, keegan, Beardsley, kennedy….. I’ll get back to you on this one.

Thanks Mombai I see you owes cut it fine and have not been at your very best at the start of this Campaign. You guys go Up against Haifa , a goal down virtually.
