WHAT IS GOING ON HAROON

What is going on with our cricket situation. There is alot of speculation of trouble in the camp and a rift between Mr Lori and Graeme Smith. A while back I met some owes in Sandton from Campus days, Zayn Dundee and the guys. They said they visit the site as well and enjoy the banter. Good on ya chaps. Anyways here is some Banter. It was claerly evident in the Cape Town one day game where Smith & Lorgat were at it again. Apparantly Lorgat went on to the pitch to voice his opinions. According to sources Lorgat didnt want Kemp to partake in that game as well. Kemp went on to salvage the innings and win the Match.

Reports also suggest that a discussion took place where Smith was seen placing his head on the wall in disagreement to Lorgat, in the first match I think. At work I have attended numerous functions in the past month. The common discussion has been to boot Gibbs. Personally I dont think so. Gibbs to me can turn a game if he is in the mood. Beside who are we going to bring in

And Im not just saying this because he is my step lity's toppie.

So what do you owes suggest is the solution to this test Dilema

1. Boot Gibbs?

2. Boot Lorgat?

3. Let AB open and move GIBBS down the order.?

4. Drop Smith and Boot Him the hell out.?

Also poor Hash is finding himself at the crease to soon. One of the openers seem to falter everytime. I hope Hash is used to this debacle.

But on the whole like I said 84 all out was Pathetic and something is horribly wrong.

I think the Mohabbet is lost.
ALSO WELL DONE MOMBHAI FOR INCREASING THE LIVERPOOL FAN BASE

BEST OF THE BEST FANTASY LEAGUE

GAMEWEEK 18

This was a good matchweek for me. If Portsmouth didnt concede and Lennon and Terry played I would have been cruising. Some big moves and dips this week. I know find myself breathing down Azees neck and achieving one of my short term goals. To F$%K him Up. I will get to Herbly and Pops later. I have left Jay and Faaiz far behind. The rest of the guys are languishing at the foot of the table. FC Vahzerz is making a claim. Like Biggy said this is the important part of the season. Also Faaiz Oz is stinking just like his team Arsenal. I got a call from Mombhai the other day and he clearly made his intentions clear that he wants the Title. Seth is still the Dada and seems to be leaving owes in his wake.Although there was a big jump from Bergson. The top 10 are as follows.
1. Zumba Bumba's Yusuf Seth 48 922
2.
Fazaman FC mahmood akhalwayo 46 898
3.

CHAMPIONS LEAGUE SECOND PHASE DRAW

Well this wouls have always turned out to be a heavy shooting draw. The only lucky b#$ta#$ds that came out smiling as usual are Man Utd. Always & Always the UTD owes end up with the easiest draws, referees leniancy and last minute stopage time goals. Im not being nasty here but lets face it Lille is the k#$kest team in the draw and Utd draw them. here is my analysis on the draws.

FC Porto vs Chelsea
This should be an easy tie for Mourinho, The millions and the Chel$ki owes. After all mourinho took all the Porto Owes to Chelsea. The trip to Portugal could be a bit tricky but I think Chelsea are experience and wont be too complacent. Chelsea outright winners by far
Celtic vs AC Milan
The bhoys will come up against a Milan team that definately have the experience and fire power. Lippi could be at the helm and if he is there Milan could well make a run for the title. Good try Celtic but my money is on Milan
PSV Eindhoven vs Arsenal
If Arsenal play like theway they played the second half against Portsmouth then Wengers men should progress to the next round. Titi will be back and those two Koreans from PSV that were the mad engines down the wings are long gone. Arsenal should go through

Lille vs Manchester United
See the paragraph above. The easiest of all the teams
AS Roma vs Lyon
With the return of Totti Roma look like they gaining momentum as they speed along. For Lyon now is the time to lay the demons to rest and release the tag of under achievers

Barcelona vs Liverpool
And Liverpool get the most difficult draw. The reigning Champions. But you have to beat the best at any stage in the competition. To play Barcelona in the Nou Camp is a difficult task for any opposing team. At Anfiels Liverpool can hold their own. The way Liverpool's season has gone thus far I say its better Barcelona than Lille. Because Liverpool are like Pakistan, Unpredictable. Wont be surprised if there is an upset here.

Real Madrid v Bayern Munich
Last time I watched this same fixture at my house with Riyad Loonat. Madrid were knocked out. The Germans are machines and on form We can say Adious Madrid. So dont go on honeymoon Riyad to the Berbabeau thinking you will coax Madrid through. The Germans are the Germans

Inter Milan v Valencia
Inter with the help of Calciopole and the Serie A all of a sudden think they are invincible. Valencia on the night can beat anybody. Should make for an interesting encounter

WEEKLY SOCCER ROUND UP-BAKRI EID

THEATER OF DREAMS

Does anyone know Nigel Rio-Coker.Bakri Eid is coming early and the slaughter house is open. I always said that it has to be a matter of time before they start f#$king up. It feels good that there is no zikr this week. I foned Biggy after the game. No response.Rashid Cassim phoned me last night and said WEST HAM are these guys Dadas. Watch Liverpool, Utd will face West Ham last game of the season......he he. Let me take you owes back in the past. Man Utd vs West Ham. Title decider while Liverpool were facing Blackburn. Do you owes rememer these words
"COLES THRU . AW HE'S MISSED IT.
"WHAT A SAVE BY MIKLOSKO"
"COLES THRU AGAIN. AWWWWWWWWWWWW"
West Ham have now officially started the demise of Fergusons men. Now the premiership starts hotting up. I am lining up an interview with the only West Ham supporter I know . A guy that still owns the West Ham Dr Martins kit, Faizel Garda after the emphatic victory.
Also I met the Laudium owes in the Michael 'Angelo on Saturday nite. These owes were slating me for being Anti Utd. You see boys next week I will meet you guys there, have a coffee and blow kisses to the chics at the Michael A'Ngelo and it will seem to be a good omen. Then again see you chaps in the Cape.
Ok there is othe reports to write so I cant keep talking about the sweet West Ham Victory.

GUNNERS POINT OF VIEW
I watched the game on Saturday with Faaiz Oz, And I was slating him profusely when they went 2-0 down and the place was stinking. But I must admit that the MUGG Adebajoir changed the game. It was a pleasure to watch that 2nd Half I tell you. But I know why they were allowed back in the game. It was that DAVID JAMES HAIRSTYLE. HOW WAS THAT HAIRSTYLE. IN A DIFFERENT CLASS I TELL YOU.But it was good to see Arsenal perform the way they did in the second half.

CHEL$KI.
Like i said Chelsea dont play attractive ball. Yesterday in Rosebank Myself, Faaiz and Seth were discussing Mourinho. Those two guys were lambasting Jose coz he recently took a swipe at Ferguson. He said when Utd come to Stamford Bridge its a victory for Chelsea. 3-2 and not convincing. The good thing is though that they gain ground on Utd...

FROM THE KOP END.
Cisse and the boys are smiling. Finally Liverpool seem to have maintained a balance. Rash Cassim phoned me last night and told me that before he leaves for India watch Liverpool climb and remember his words.
"LIVERPOOL WILL LIFT THE CARLING PREMIERLEAGUE TITLE.
UTD WILL PLAY WEST HAM AND F$%K IT UP IN THE LAST GAME"
The boys from the Kop are looking sharp. Lets see where they end up.
Also good victories for the likes of Spurs and Newcastle. Bergson what are you predictions for spurs this year now that we heading into new year.
EUROPEAN SOCCER ROUND UP.
In Seria A the parasites Inter go ten points clear and how I wish Roma could win the Serie A this year. Milan are stuffed and like I saide reports are linking Lippi to take over at the helm come January.
Riyad Loonat was smiling as Van gave Madrid a 1-0 victory. Barcelona lost bthe World Club Cup.What is happening to Barcelona. Their Fiqr is not quite the same.
FORZA JUVE
The game in Serie B was postponed due to the tragic death of two Juve youth team players
Juventus’ match with Cesena has been postponed after two youth team players died in a tragic accident. The Serie B Week 16 game was set to kick off at 20.00 UK time, 21.00 in Italy, but was called off just minutes before the team was set to take to the field. The Stadio Olimpico in Turin scoreboard displayed a message noting that “Due to a serious accident that has struck Juventus, this match will not be played.” There was confusion surrounding the reasons behind the decision, although police later confirmed that two Juventus youth team players have died. The unfortunate victims of this tragic accident were 17-year-olds Alessio Ferramosca and goalkeeper Riccardo Neri. The teenagers drowned in a lake at the Vinovo training centre in Turin late this afternoon, apparently when trying to recover some footballs that had fallen into the water. Cesena accepted the request to postpone the match, although there is as yet no news as to when it will be rescheduled.

84 ALL OUT

Wel try again in the next test Hash. Well South Africa find themselves in the Perishans after a dismal display in the first test. 84 all out. I mean really now. I was in my stall yesterday at Rosebank Flea Market. Their is a india owe that sells cell phone acessories. Every Sunday without fail I will scream to the guy "Hella Bappa, South Africa f$%ked you guys up". Yesterday the okes started going mad. He came to me and started shaking me saying that India give you hiding. You are sheet, They thake the sheet out your a#$e . The man went hull.

Anyways I was dissapointed that Hash didnt score big at all, But then again who did. I spoke to cricketing analyst AK Kadwa last night. We were discussing Amla. Ak was worried. He says because Amla got out with the same ball and the same bowler in the same manner that these owes will ommit him from the team now. Gibbs scored a pair of ducks but they will still leave him. They are already saying that Niel Mckenzie will gat a call up for the next test (joffes maboi)Thats the mentality of the selectors. Smith also has failed early again. But as I always say Hash you go boy, We with you all the way for the second test

Also Austrailia have regained the Ashes, Did you owes see Gilchrest knock of 57 balls I think. In a test match can you believe. It was inevitable though that the Ozzies would regain the Ashes. The only reason why is because Monty Panesar only played in the current test. But when it comes to cricket in all forms of the game, The Ozzies are the masters of the craft.

MUGG'S OF THE WEEK

Again this weeks MUGG has relevance to performance and an impact on the game. It was difficult to chose between a soccer post or a cricket post but I would have never thought that this man would ever hold a place as MUGG of the Week. I put him in my fantasy league and he done Buggerall. He is a shadow of what he wants was. From a lethal Milan marksman that always was Buffons Nemises the man has failed to live up to his billing. Jose has also deemed him replacable.

Why did he come to England. At 31 years of age did the money lure him to the Bridge, Was it the bustling streets of Croydon London. Maybe He came for Champions League Football. Could be since Milan are in the Gutters. Come On Sheva. You have done nothing thus far

Since it is December we will have another Mugg. I didnt know who to pick between Haroon Lorgat or Paul Adams. I met Aslam Khota on Saturday and we were discussing the situation at hand. Aslams words were "Watch Paul Adams". Lot of other pundits like Azee and Mombhai are also saying that Paul will surface from the dead.I think we have to hand it to Haroon Lorgat and his wayward selection policies. We say it again. Paul Adams hasnt played for so long. Apart from the skitts you see him in, in Cape Town we havent heard of the man. Now was the time to bring in Thandi. Why not call up Omar Henry. Since we delving into the PAST so much. I heard Venkathapaty Raju is a South African Citizen. Married some chic from Bhethal. Hear he spans for the toppie in law in the dookan and plays Sunday Cricket for Bethals Bulldozers. Call him f$ucken up.

Maybe Lorgat spoke to Goolam Patel and applied his Theory.

Paul Adams bowled out Sachin Tendulkar , Sachin Tendulkar bowled out Warne. So Paul Adams is better than Shane Warne.

Also you okes are all googled now. For instance go to www,google.co.za. Type in your name,Type in Azee Moola. Links appear.
So Shevchenko and Haroon Lorgat take us through December.

BREAKING NEWS

ADIOS AMIGO

Bye Bye Goolam Patel. Your comments will now be ignored and you are banned with immediate effect. YOU ARE THE WEAKEST LINK..GOODBYE

Also anyone that posts comments of a similar nature will be booted and their comments ignored.
After consulting with advisors this decision has been reached.

By the way Breaking News on the Ball front is that Lippi is poised to take over the reigns of AC Milan when the January transfer windows.
Faheem Vahzerz where did you get that crap about Ferguson retiring

Also other breaking news in. You owes know that Russian spy that was poisoned in the UK. He was poisoned with a substance called Polonium 210
London - British investigators have found minute traces of polonium 210, the radioactive isotope that killed former Russian spy Alexander Litvinenko, at Arsenal's London stadium, a public health spokesperson said on Tuesday.
"Minute quantities (of polonium) were found at barely detectable levels at localised areas," said Health Protection Agency spokesperson Katherine Lewis. "There is no risk to public health."
British police are in Moscow investigating Litvinenko's death in a case that has strained ties between Britain and Russia since the exiled former spy on his death bed accused Russian President Vladimir Putin of ordering his assassination.
Litvinenko died in a London hospital on November 23 from a lethal dose of polonium 210 after falling ill on November 1.

Maybe thats why Henry is out

ROONEY ALMOST OUT FOR THE SEASON
Manchester, England - Wayne Rooney nearly got injured in a different venue - while watching the New York Knicks basketball team at Madison Square Garden.
The Manchester United striker and fiancee Coleen McLoughlin sat courtside on Monday night when 2.03-metre Paul Pierce of the Boston Celtics lunged for a loose ball and landed on Rooney's surgically repaired right foot.
"It was scary," Rooney said on Man U's website. "He rolled right over my foot."
Luckily, there was no damage to the foot that kept Rooney out of England's opening match in the World Cup last summer. The Celtics beat the Knicks 97-90.
United players were given three days off after the Manchester derby before returning Wednesday to prepare for Sunday's trip to West Ham United.

BREAKING NEWS

I thought that this post will make for a great debate this week. Sri Lanka lost the first Test and the controversy in that test was the Run Out of Muralli. he went to congratulate Sangakara on reching his century when McCullum ran him out. This has caused fury and is deemed unsportsmanlike conduct.

Whats your owes views. Was this correct?

Is it considered Unsporting.?

Are Rules ,Rules

I have to hear what the cricket purists like Azee, Mombhai, Ebie Jay,Biggy have to say about this one..

Also Guys please leave the TRIBUTES to HASH for the HASHIM BHAAI Posts.

Thanks

WHAT A MACHEE

Ok owes I know there are guys on this blog that want a fishing Post. I said to the owes I will create one and when the guys go out they welcome to send me the pics and reports on the destinations. Thanks Nicholas Anelka for the Pic.

Guys Is Voondoo Barberrs a myth or reality

WEEKLY SOCCER ROUND UP

GUNNERS POINT OF VIEW AND CHEL$KI

Last night I watched the game at Highbury with a star studded panel to say the least. In the studio we had host of analysts at our disposal. We watched the game in the Arsenal Lair itself, Faaiz's house. The panel consisted of Azee Moola, Seth, Faaiz, Myself, Swaar, Zaid Vehzerz, Mo and FAHEEM VAHZERZ of all owes. The lad was a shadow of his robust identity on this blog, or maybe he is saving his piece for the web. Beside Faaiz , owes were really plotting Chelskis downfall for the evening. I have never seen two Utd owes so happy when Flamini scored the first. Seth and Azee were counting on their fingers what lead Utd now had. Until Essiens howler silenced the whole room. I was blue for the night. Sometimes this Fantasy Football is bad as you support teams just so your fantasy players do well. The game itself was a tough one and the last 20 minutes I thought was pulsating. Drogba the b#@tard made Christiano Ronaldo look like an Ameteur diver. Drogba I thought was falling for everything and was a bazzler of note

*bazzler-a person who just bazzles, you know what I mean.

Take nothing away from Arsenal but whats the point, they are finished.

Even Chelsea with all their millions play Ugly soccer. I spoke to Azee and Co. If I were Mourinho I would have started SWP and Robben. Get width on the flanks and supply Sheva and The DROG. For those of you who dont know Sheva is the guy that played for Milan and is from the Ukraine. But who is he going to drop, Ballack, Makalele, Lampard or Essien. To conclude it was a k$#% result for Chelsea and the bas#$$ds Utd now go top and build on a big lead.

FROM THE KOP END

I heard the Miss Universe was held in Liverpool this weekend. Thats why they won four. Plenty of Lovely Chiks walking around the grounds. Cisse and the boys seem to be waking up now. I met Ebie Loonat this weekend. He said that he and Rashid Cassim still have this belief that Liverpool will be Carling Cup Champions this year. The panel yesterday kept on dissing Liverpool last night. They said that with the Arabs millions Rafa will find it difficult not to rotate 60 Players that he'l buy. They said Rafa loves to rotate and F$%k his team up.

THEATER OF DREAMS
JUST SAY YOUR WEEKLY ZIKR thats all. The only thing i can deduce from this result is that Van De Sar keeps on getting beaten from those types of situations. Nakumra exposed him twice and so did Trebelse. But the Utd owes are now 8 points clear. As I said to the panel yesterday They are only on a high, They have yet to DIP. When that DIP comes we will sharpen the knives and prepare for the Slaughter. Bakri Eid IS COMING

Bergson You can leave a comment now. I see you were on a high this weekend. Berbatov netted a brace and You pulled a fantasy job there. I just hope Spurs maintain their consitency.

EUROPEAN SOCCER ROUND UP
Inter are so desperate to win the Seria A title on the field that they enforced themselves to be 7 points clear. Roma lost the Rome derby to Lazio. Milan are f#$ked. All the Mice are playing when the Cat is away in Serie B. In Spain Barcelona extended there run in the league. Riyad Loonat please respond to this post. You F3$ken ba#$trds are shite. I thought Il only have one Zikr this week, But with you around I need a Tasbeeh. Madrid are Sh$3e.

I see Beckham got on the scoresheet. But Capello will not start him. He did the same thing to Del. Its funny. A while back when International Call Ups were iminant Madrid had no team, Now when there are Internationals all their stars are still there with the exception of a few. Please Respond R loonat. I met another Madrid man yesterday in Rosebank at my stall. Madrid Fans name is Kyle. Please guys say something here.

FORZA JUVE
Serie A We are Coming, Sabr,Patience I know the league is k#$k and they missing Juve but we will be back to spice it up and Europe next year. Another 1-0 victory and we are on our way

HASHIM BHAI

I was coming to work this morning when I heard Joffes Maboi announce the SA Test side to play India. Paul Adams and Niki Boje . What about Thandi Tshabalala. You see this is where our selectors bamboozle me. Give the litie a show now. How many chances are these owes getting. Adams has played test cricket for two years. Gimme a break. Mombhai & Azee what are your guys comments here. Say your piece. Dont let me meet you at Nescafe and then you bas$3rds start complaining................

I have also decided to add to this post a little. Why is it that Bodi was not in the one day squad this year. Color aside the lad has been deserving. Even the freakin Pro 20 the man was Omitted. I met Gummi on Wednesday and we were having the same discussion. Look I know there are also sceptics out there that will criticise my post and selection request which is fair. But on form alone I base my theories.I want to ask the following question

How many chances did Kallis have before scoring?

How many chances did Rudolph have

If Hash fails in the test series, Do you owes think he will be readily given another shot as easily as Kallis, Rudolph Boje. They had about 20?

Dont we have any other spinners in this Country. Instead of Paul Adams I rather take Kieran a India guy that spans with Mamoo. That Owe can turn a f$%ken owe upside down if he could. But Polla, Come on man!

HASHIM BHAI

I would also like to take time out on this Blog to Wish Hashim Amla well for the upcoming Test Series. We with you HASH all the way. Like I said you are an ambasador for the muslim youth and community. Ignore the sceptics and make us proud my man

Also owes I will use this Post a Good Luck Message as well to Hash. So say your owes say for the man.

I met one of his buddies from Durbs and told him to Tell Hash to look at this site. So if Hash logs on It will be sublime to see the Tributes pouring in for the Man because it is fully deserved.

COME ON GUYS IF WE CAN GET 85 COMMENTS FOR THE ABUS VS ALI'S WE CAN BREAK THE 100 MARK HERE.

LETS GO FOR IT

GOOD LUCK HASH YOU BEAUTY. We want a century for this blog

MOMENT THAT SHOOK THE BLOG

I played for Dynamos under Jives in 2002. What are marvelous season we had. The Mohabbet, The team Spirit, The training, the players. I was a typical Del that season, Jive using me sparingly to come of the Bench. In the class of Del I tell you,

In pre season we had a lad that made his debut at right back. Struggled to stake a place in the first team and the second team.

On Wednesday i ended up at Heart Break Hotel where i met Polones, Larry & Gummy. They told me that Young Thabo has blossomed into the class of Eric Abidal trekking down the wing. To top it all off the moment was encapsulated when Thabo ran to the FC MAYFAIR stands after the final whistle, put his face in the collar and CRIED TO THE FANS.

It was just in the class of Baresi crying to the Milan Fans in his final swansong...
*I THINK THAT IS THABO ON THE EXTREME LEFT

QUOTE OF THE WEEK

Last seasons Champions League obviously seen Arsenal satking a claim for European Glory. They met Juventus in the quarter final.
A man from the Kop phoned me before the game that night. His words were
"Swoosh I hope Capello doesnt play that boring long ball tonight. They have what it takes tp play carpet football. I know Im a Liverpool Fan but because they are out I AM A BLACK AND WHITE FOR THE NIGHT"

CHAMPIONS LEAGUE-SAVED FROM SAKRAAT

THEATER OF DREAMS

I tell you the likes of Moosa Dangor, Azee, Hoosain, And the rest of the Alis MUST have been sweating last night when they went a goal down, Alas Hoosain Mayets Duas have saved you owes from an onslaught and slaughter and a BAKRI EID on the blog today. But look I am happy that they are in the next phase. This simply adds to the excitement and ensures the precence of the Big Boys in the next phase. Also it was good that finally an English team has dumped Benfica out. I told you owes that Vidic is a class act and makes Rio look f#$ken good. But Credit to you MUGGS as the Perishaans is over for a While. We will see who awaits you guys in the next phase.

FROM THE KOP END
What is it with Rafa and this competition. I foresee Liverpool going the distance here. It seems that Benitez just has that European edge.
And acoording to the FV Theory Liverpool should perform because the babes in Europe are sublime
*FV Theory=Liverpool play better in places where there is nice chics*
But Speak up chaps from the Kop!

CHELSKI
Well guys we must admit these owes have had a good campaign thus far. For Mourinho this is the only thing that has eluded him. I think personally If he doesnt win this one he will get the boot from Roman. Sheva also looks like he is coming right

GUNNERS POINT OF VIEW
Look Faaiz Oz, Zam Ram, Jive, Eco Arsenal were nothing special in this phase. Something is lacking and the Toppie Arsene has to get his work done in this Christmas period. Even though Arsenal play great football, Something is lacking and getting knocked out in the next phase is highly probable.
Barcelona seem to getting into their stride, AC Milan are playing f$%ken sh#$e. Roma could be dark horses with a resurging Totti.
For Riyad Loonat the man will be having an early bath this year as Madrid look too eratic and far from convincing. Then again that could be their contingency plan.
And my heart burns again that there is no Juve to talk about. What a pity and sad state, But we all have to move on in life as hard as it is. Will they take us back in Serie A. Of course they will always take us back because we gave Serie A something special, Something they have never seen before. And we gave Europe Something Special. Wat u say Hazrat.?Catch my drift. If Juve were in Europe it would be in the class of Keely Hazel escourting Guiseppe Rossi to the night of the Oscars. Guiseppe was indeed a legend and a he too was a great MAN.

So to conclude we look forwar to a Hum Dinger of a second phase. I will now create a Competition on this Post. Predict a Winner of this Competition. Now is the time to back a team or your team and put ur owes money where your mouth is. The winning Prize will be a Dinner For Two Voucher at a resturant of My Choice, (Not Chicken Licken). So if you win you and ur vrou, chic, Chommy whoever will be treated to a meal. You must however leave your name, Predict ur Winner.

My WINNER WILL BE: LYON. Since there is no Juve

I am finally backing these bas#ar## till the End

MOMENT THAT SHOOK THE BLOG

Thanks Guys for the information and request to put this post up. Mohamed Yusuf formerly known as Yousuf Youhana recently achieved a great milestone. And like Hash he has attributed his success and focus on Iman. He has made us proud. We also know that Mohammed Yousuf is a revert. He converted to Islam

Before Mohammad Yousuf's conversion to Islam from Christianity, rumour has it he was told by those close to the Pakistan squad that he was the only thing standing between God and his team.
Not so now. Since he became a Muslim in 2005, his star has been on this rise and in the last year Yousuf's batting average has risen to a staggering average of 99.33.
He has certainly cemented his status as the lynchpin of Pakistan's Test side and established himself as an all-time batting great in the process.
He now has a new world record mark for runs scored in a calendar year - 1,788 to be precise - eclipsing Sir Viv Richards' previous record by 68 runs.
And in doing so he notched up his ninth Test century of the year.

There is no doubt that his religion has encouraged a new serenity at the crease Pakistan coach Bob Woolmer
In the aftermath of his record-breaking innings in Karachi, the softly-spoken 32-year-old was clear about the catalyst to his success.
"It was only with God's help that I achieved this," said Yousuf, who converted from Christianity nearly two years ago.
The statistics appear to support his belief. The player, formerly known as Yousuf Youhana, averaged around 48 in his first 59 Tests before converting.
Since adopting the Islamic faith of his team-mates, Yousuf scored a double hundred in Lahore to seal the winter Test series against England for Pakistan and, although Pakistan lost the return series to England last summer, Yousuf shone, hitting scores of 202, 192 and 128.
The right-handed batsman also made two centuries against India and four in five innings against the West Indies to take his Test century count for 2006 to nine - which also happens to be a world record.

In his interview with Rameez Raja after breaking the long standing record of Sir ViV Richards he was asked what he Changed this year to achieve this fantastic record. He said it was nothing to do with the technical side, but more the mental. From the interview in Urdu I made out the words namaaz and shahadat, to which the crowd erupted after attaining a 2-0 series win. Goes to show accepting the religion improves all aspects of ones life

Abramovich to Give Chelsea Away
Brian Rocksmonde 30 November 2006 13:51:47

Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich is said to have lost his football club in a card game last Sunday at Grosvenor Connoisseur Casino in London. According to a source in the casino security staff, the Chelsea Football Club was at stake in a poker game between Abramovich and some oil baron from Saudi Arabia whose name remains in secret. Under the gentleman's agreement, the Russian tycoon is to pass the club to the new owner by January 1, 2007 or pay off 300 million pounds to the lucky Arabian gambler. Abramovich, who is Russia's wealthiest man according to U.S. magazine Forbes, has spent about 240 million pounds on players since his 140 million pound takeover at Stamford Bridge in 2003. He has been certainly on the way to reforming the club. He allegedly intended to appoint Chelsea striker Andriy Shevchenko as the club's president. Bayern Munich chairman Karl-Heinz Rummenigge has even accused him of stifling the competitiveness of European football by spending on players and sky-high television rights deals. Now the future of both Chelsea and the international soccer remains unclear. But for Abramovich it may be simply a loss of the favourite toy, not a collapse. As well as investing in Chelsea, Abramovich, who is Governor of Chukotka, has injected much of his own money in building new homes and infrastructure for the previously impoverished region in Asian Russia. The Sunday Times once characterized Roman Abramovich as one of the world's most reckless and venturous businessmen. And up to a certain moment good luck was with him. Are gods now laughing at the Russian tycoon? His wife has reportedly begun divorce proceedings which could cost Abramovich half his vast fortune. Irina Abramovich is turning to the lawyers because of recent revelations about a romance between the Chelsea football club owner and a 23-year-old daughter of Russian billionaire Alexander Zhukov Well, this story may rate as Grosvenor Connoisseur's second best scandal this year. The first one one was at New Year's Eve, when a customer who usually spent around 50 pounds lost a reported 40,000 pounds. He lost his money then left the building and returned with a plastic bottle full of petrol. He emptied it over himself, spraying staff and gaming tables.

The Gunners' skipper stormed away from Arsenal's training ground on Friday, after being told he wasn't playing in the north London derby with Spurs, but admitted yesterday that he had not behaved well in the incident. HENRY: I LOVE THE LIVERPOOL FANS Paul Rogers 22 September 2006
Arsenal legend Thierry Henry has revealed his affection for Liverpool Football Club and the club's world famous supporters in an astonishing new interview.
Despite playing for one of Liverpool's biggest rivals, Anfield has always afforded the French international a warm reception in appreciation of his sublime skills and now it seems the feeling is mutual. The chance to see Henry play in the red of Liverpool rather than the red and white of Arsenal might have gone now but that hasn't stopped the striker admitting he's dreamt about what it would have been like to be one of the Kop's idols. "I could never play for another English club after spending so long at Arsenal but, maybe, if there could ever have been another team, it would be Liverpool," he said at the launch of 'Impact Art', a charity which looks after seriously ill young adults. "I say them because I would have loved to play with
Steven Gerrard and then also I love their fans. "There is something special about Anfield which is amazing and, when I see The Kop with their scarves in the air, singing 'You'll Never Walk Alone', that is awesome."

WEEKLY SOCCER ROUND UP

FROM THE KOP END
LMA HALL.LENZ

Well to begin I am just recovering from a good weekend, Camping in the wild and a baby function served out by one of the Die Hard Memebers of the KOP. Ebie Loonat. The function was sublime and the service from Ebie to his guests even better after the 4-0 result on Saturday, yet the man still invoked his displeasure in Garcia. You should have seen the Liverpool owes. They were all in bouysterous moods. I met up with most of my blog members there, Riyad Loonat, Beard Bumjee, Mamad Ameen-A wear, Faaiz Oz, and lots of other owes who all view the Swoosh Blog. There was some good feedback from the post MINKI IN DIE BAD also. But back to Liverpool. A resounding 4-0 victory and a reward of facing Arsenal in the FA CUP. That will be mouthwatering and at Anfield so we expect a full crowd at my house on matchday.
Other than that It was finally a good week for Cisse, Ebie Jay and their entourage. FINALLY............

THEATER OF DREAMS.
The b#$tards keep on winning. And my weekly Zikr on Monday morning now has changed. It has been and looks like it probably will be "Well done to the Utd owes, Credit where credit is due, It will just be a matter of time before they f$5k up". Well done Again. They seem to be moving along as usual. Didnt watch the game but Im sure the lads are in in Sublime spirits.

A GUNNERS POINT OF VIEW.
Finnaly I could sit with Faaiz OZ and not lambast the man. 3 - 0 at spurs. Good Derby Victory. I was contemplating for Adebajour to be MUGG of the Week and then the b#$tard goes and score. Zam Ram, Faaiz, Jives, Eco. Too late PAPA. You know the phrase. Arsene looked calm, But I am telling you bast#$ds that being a passionate man he is really being erked about his neice marrying a REAL Madrid Man. I said it last week and Il say it again. Reports suggest that Raul and Arsene will be family next year. Watch out as Raul will probaly end his stuttering career at the GUNNERS (source:swoosh repoter on investigation)
But finally there was no stench in the air or around Faaiz and the Arsenal lads.
By the way we discussed the following while we were having Alipor Masala tea at function.
IS IT A PROBLEM FOR AN ENGLISH TEAM LIKE ARSENAL TO HAVE NO ENGLISH PLAYERS IN THEIR STARTING X11. IS FOOTBOOL ABOUT RESULTS OR HISTORY AND CULTURE.
I want to hear what you b#$tards above have to say.

EUROPEAN SOCCER ROUND UP
The man Riyad Loonat poked nervously at his Consi and said I hope we win tonight. They did after a struggle and it was good to see the two R's on target. Barcelona were held 1-1 to Levante.
Milan struggled. You see in life wehen you do shit and run away you will always get hit by the LAAKRI. And the LAAKRI is hiting Anceloti. They laughed at Juve and now look at these sorry cases. Inter reap the benefit and a k$%k Inter milan lead the scuddeto. I support Roma.

FORZA JUVE.
Still no Del and Trezeguet due to injury. We struggled and were held to Genoa. But the smell of Serie A is drawing nearer.

For now, a Good weekend.
