TITLE WEEKEND
Ok.First up.Azee you f#4ker. Who has won the Golden Boot in Serie A. Answer Alessandro Del Piero. Del has been playing some awesome football lately. The press are saying that he is playing like he did 12 years ago. He got a brace on the last day of the season. IF F3$KEN DONADONI doesnt take him to the Euros then F#4K Donadoni. Del deserves to be there. But great thing for me to see Del clinch the Golden Boot

Now on to Serie A, and my hatred for Inter ensured that they wrapped up the Seria A with a superb Zlatan show.Fuc# it now what can you do. Inter teh B@#stards won the Scudetto. they have been in control the whole season ....And I felt sorry though for Roma. But If you win matches you win the Championship. So f#4ken Inter ba@3ards Won.

But whats more tragic is that the Mighty Milan will now play in the UEFA CUP. What no Champions League for Milan.F#4K THAT..THATS A SHOCKER. Milan won, But Fiorentina beat Torino, So the Viola are through. Shakes? Any comment.

THE FA CUP FINAL
Lets be honest here. Who was watching. i remember being a kid , The Atmosphere of the FA CUP, Sitting at home, watching the road to Wembley, the players coming of teh bus, teh suits, greeting the Duchess of York, the Anthems, the roar when the Captain lifts it at Wembley. It gripped me. Its a competion that grips you as a kid. Half time we were out playing ball on the grass. This year, Different. But well done to pompey. After all they are the FA CUP Champions.
So we know the Mancs, Real and bayern won their respective Championships. But what about Home.
Well firstly much of the Sunday was about my couzies shop being looted ..F#4KEN Hell. What a thing. Let em tell you it makes us scared about 2010. I mean it was chaos,,,and scary...The shop was literally looted and all that remains is just a shell. Nothing...Freakin scariest thing ever
But anyways on the local front, Supersport Utd clinched it. My Toppie and I wanted Ajax to win.Supersport lost but Ajax THE B@3TARDS COULDNT WIN,And the Ajaz owe missed a sitter in the last minute
Then there was the Super 14, which ZK will cover tomorow. But one SA teams in, the Sharks and the Stormers. So good weekend for SA Sport.
And then there was an article about Stevie G and his hatred for the Mancs Lol
THE TRUE SPIRIT OF AN ABU

Gerrard: It Killed Me To Watch United Win Again
Liverpool skipper Steven Gerrard says he is more determined than ever to finally lead his boyhood club back to the very top of the English game.
The Reds finished in fourth this term despite a promising start and a scintillating debut campaign from striker Fernando Torres. The Merseysiders were actually top of the table in September, but a string of disappointing draws through the middle of the season saw them plummet out of the title race as they have done all too often over the last 17 years."It hurts more and more when we get to November or December every season and have to accept we're out of the title race again," admitted Gerrard, before imploring the club's American owners to make the necessary funds available to coach Rafa Benitez."Every year seems to be following the same routine. The manager asks for more support in the transfer market in January, while we're all saying to ourselves this should have happened the previous summer," he continued."
The time to act is now, not in January when we're already too far behind. Look at Chelsea. A day after they've lost the league, what do they do? They spend £16 million on a full-back."That's the kind of ruthless approach to transfers the Liverpool fans and players want to see, making the signings the manager wants."The manager knows where we need to strengthen and the players and fans have faith in Rafa — but he needs the backing to act on his plans."There's no point us waiting all summer again and then possibly missing out on the players we need."If we do that we'll just end up going through the same experience as previous years."The only way to achieve this is to give the manager the kind of backing which gives us a chance. You only get better when you improve the quality in the squad."Everyone can see we've got a lot of very good players here. I honestly don't believe we're that far off if we can make two or three top-class additions.
"The spine of the side is definitely there. But we know United and Chelsea are going to go out and spend millions again this summer."You can see what Fernando Torres added to our team this season. He made a big difference."No one is saying we should be spending that kind of money on every player we sign, but if we're going to mount a serious challenge for the title we have to bring in proven quality."I'm not just talking or thinking as a player here, but as a fan. This isn't just about what I feel, but about what the fans, the players and everyone who loves the club wants."Our supporters deserve more of a challenge than we've put up — but they also need to feel we've a realistic chance of competing."Like all of us, they'll be watching what's happening at the club over the summer very carefully."They'll be reading the papers every day to find out what's going on, and desperate to feel positive about the future."I've always seen summer as a really important period because that's when all the planning gets done."League titles aren't just won on the pitch from one week to the next, they're won by managers planning ahead and assembling squads which can cope with the demands of English and European football."We have to be doing everything in our power over the next few weeks to prevent another disappointing season."He added: "I've won every major honour at Liverpool except one. It hurts more and more not only to have never won the league, but to have never really gone close."It would be bad enough if we only narrowly missed out on the title, but we've never got to March or April recently and thought we were in contention."That's what we want more than anything at Anfield, but we'll only achieve that when everyone is working together for the same goal."I watched United last week and as a Liverpool fan it killed me to see them win the league again."They deserved to win it and I have the utmost respect for their achievement, but we've got to do everything we can to get it off them next season."

To conclude though
Some talking points for the blog today.
How the f#4k could Spain leave Raul Out, And how the f#4k could Domenesch leave Trezeguet out of the French Squad.
And then the big talking point
Will the lity Ronaldo leave for Real Madrid?
Some toppies (old men in indian community) affirmed this speculation at the Mosque. If he does then like Owen, becks and a host of others, He will f#4k up his career, i think. On the contrary. Will 100 million be too hard to turn down. wHO WOULDNT TURN 100 MILLION QUID DOWN.
And is Penaltino worth that if Zidane only went for 40 odd.

CONGRATULATIONS MAN UTD
pictures.courtesy of the Chavel. He had to have a say
What can I say. CONGRATULATIONS MANCHESTER UNITED ON BECOMING PREMIERSHIP CHAMPIONS.
I say this with a heavy heart and lots of hasad...(jealousy)
I apologise for the slow updates, Its not a Oprah Winfrey scam....But they stole the copper cables at the office.... Whats f#4ken new..........
MAN UTD .CHAMPIONS OF THE PREMIERSHIP
Once again Penaltino stepped up and slotted home. I was at an alipor function at Homestead Park so I ended up watching the game with Anees Mayet. And when I got there Anees told me the b@#trds are 1-0 up through a penalty by Penaltino. We switched to the Chelsea game and it was 0-0. The only moment of hope came when the Heskey header just went over the cross bar. i said to Anees , Fuck if that had to go in . ........
After a while I told Anees. Salo Awunoo (Its bloody coming), the equaliser that is. My reasoning coz Kirkland was having a blinder just like Miklosko was having years ago. Then Sheva scored and the Abus had hope. It was a difficult task but as an Abu YOU MUST HAVE HOPE AND BELIEF. But then Giggs came on. I thought the Wigan marking was poor for the Giggs goal. It was fitting though that a man of Giggs stature sealed it for the MANCS....AND WELL as an Abu I watched the celebrations and Sir Alex xhewing gum. Anybody knows this brand of 90 minute flavoured Gum. But f#4k it. Its hard for me to say...But the blog is almost two and a half years old and so far on my blog only the MANCS have won. So I will WAIT FOR THE F#4KEN DAY when someone else wins it. So till Europe...........Enjoy you f#4ken MANC
It was last day of the season so for many of the big teams it was just a case of resting players, strategising and winding down. But Azee. Sven getting a 8-1 hammering from Bourough. He is surely on his way out. And poor Reading winning 4-0 but still facing the drop. Hearts were broken. Reading, Derby and Birmingham. Dodi Al Fayed was smiling yesterday. Any idea who won our Fantasy League......................?
And its all gunns blazing now for the Champions League and the Euro Championships
LA LIGA UPDATE
We know Madrid won, so wel get more from Irfaan in the La Liga update. I met Riyad Loonat at the Alipor Function and he had his Madrid kit on...gloating. But he mentioned to me that of all the Madrid titles..This one never felt right. He is happy they won it...But he said it was too easy
BUNDESLIGA UPDATE
Gatusso signs for Bayern or has agreed terms. Welcome back to Europe Bayern Munich. As I said to Killa, WTF. Do you Germans want to change it to Bayern Azurro Munchen
SERIE A UPDATE.
Great to see the Serie A go the Wire. Inter who I have the same hatred as I do to the MANCS...Must f#4ken lose it. They must get three points next week or else Roma will steal it, Thats if Roma win. Juve have qualified for Europe. But Shakes how did Milan f#4k it up yesterday. Can you imagine a Europe without a Milan. And they did everything.Like Mr Mathir, Maths tuition Mr Mathir used to say.."You Swim in the Ocean, But drown in the bath"
Now all Fiorentina need is 3 points against Torino and its bye bye Milan. But for now Again I say.Enjoy You MANCS

SUPER 14 UPDATE
By ZK
So I've been away for a while and no I was not in hiding because of the Sharks :P Its more like I've had a bit of a holiday from a favourite pass time of watching sports…which meant the lack of what has been going on in the Rugby (though I regularly get updates when my team are loosing – again to fellow compatriots THANKS – like I needed reminding --- for fcuks sake).
Fortune favours the brave so the saying goes…and welcoming to note that the Bulls Springbok players became brave on Friday to beat the Brumbies. Wikus van Heerden playin in place of Schalk Burger (out through injury) led the charge with Bakkies Botha. Wynand Oliver, skipper Fourie du Preez, wing bryan Habana and loosehead prop Gurthro Steenkamp chose the right time to regain their form especially leading up to the announcement of the first 45-man national training squad under new Bok coach DeVilliers.
Vodacom Bulls 28 – 17 Brumbies
So a flurry of tries made sure that the dismal performance of the Sharks in their overseas leg was not repeated. With five points in the bag they still may just have some little hope of getting into the semi's. Another five points from the next match and a few results going their way can still ensure the home semi they want but the idiots had to leave it to faith and chance. This reminds me of a few years back when the results definitely did not favour us. The fact that we also don't have those bonus points from the beginning of the seasons wins may be the ultimate nail in the coffin. *SIGH*
Quick recap of the game – the Sharks left it late for the bonus point and looked like they were heading to only a 3point win. Then what looked almost resemblant to the finals of last year sees in Odwa Ndungane touching down in a similar manner in which Bryan Habane denied the Sharks. And another followed ensuring a comfortable distance and a five point win.
I have to admit though that this was the best attacking performance of the season by the Sharks, sad though that it maybe too little too late.
The Sharks 33 – 14 Vodacom Cheetahs
The Lions have shown the mettle. For the die-hard Lion supporters I'm sure this weekends match would have left you proud on how far your team has come. Killing off the Chiefs super14 campaign at the right time the lead was almost destroyed when they let the Chiefs score two quick tries in the 80 min. The Chiefs loosehead Ben May was red-carded for trampling Joe van Niekerk. Facing the Stormers in the final match of the season, the Lions may just throw a spanner into the hopes of the Stormers gaining a semi final berth.(anyone with tickets let me know – would love to see the final match which plays a part for on whether my beloved Sharks make it or not!!!)
Auto & General Lions 33 – 27
Chiefs Stormers who could have secured a semi final place decided to leave it to chance by drawing the match against the Waratahs. Playing in horrid conditions – cold, wet, blustery – I would think that the Stormers had the advantage as it is their stadium. The result has thrown all the doors open for a playoff round. The Stormers started the match two points behind the Waratahs in fourth place, and now the Sharks are back in the frame. The Sharks are fifth going into the final weekend, but have the same number of log points as the Stormers, and are just trailing on points difference. I would say more on the match but really now I would be a little mmmm one sided as I was hoping that the Stormers lost just so that the Sharks were firmly back in the semi fray. Bottom line though I think the Stormers may have the better chances of a semi and hey ultimately (though saddening) I would like one SA team in the final especially after having two in last years one.
Vodacom Stormers 13 – 13 Waratahs
Other Results:
Reds 21 – 27 Crusaders
Highlanders 15 – 40 Blues
Hurricanes 21 – 10 Western Force Vodacom

Weekend Soccer Round Up-PEREIRA WTF
It was a relaxing weekend, Whats new, Power Outages, Cold .....the usual stuff. From a sporting perspective the MANCS edge closer to the title. But one of the more quieter weekends, Footie on Sunday again and we got thumped 3-0. Had a young lad in the team that probably had a Michaelangelo breakfast before the game. He couldn't hold and gave us a thorough description of where to go for breakfast and what to eat. Its the second time in the history of the club that the Sargent came calling.......Sunday, April 13, 2008

WEEKLY SOCCER ROUND UP-THE MANCS FALTER
Big names rested, But I wanted Arsenal to win. My passion as an Abu was overwhleming. Just so Arsenal could close the gap on the MANCS. But this game proves one thing. Why Rafa why do you not play Crouch? Does he have a personal gripe with Crouch? Who f#4ken knows. Also this Du Plessis lity from the Cape Flats, Plessis , His ok. I like how he was breaking down play and passing. It was just a dress rehearsal for the Big One tomorow NiteMonday, March 31, 2008
WEEKLY SOCCER ROUND UP
FROM THE KOP END
Torres again. I watched the game with the Vahzerz's and Faheem Vahzerz. The lad was jumping when Tores scored the opener. FV aslo reiterated what a worker Dirk Kuyt is. I told him theres even workers in the old Workers Jor, Kuyt is shite. But nevertherless a great win for the kop lads in a quest to cement that Champions League spot.
THEATER OF DREAMS
Thumping Villa 4-0. I would have never expected this. The MANCS keep rolling on. If they were 8 points clear there would be Perishaans. But I cant picture them losing. The more you want them to lose the more they Win................Ronaldo again Class. The Mancs though have the most difficult run In. But its theirs to lose. That should be some added pressure
CHEL$KI
Even though Chelsea won 1-0, And Shukr for that, as they maintained that 5 point deficit.... They were lucky to escape three points. They should have been punished twice in the last ten minutes. Borough just coudnt find the net. It was like Ping Pong. Cross bar and out, Cross bar and out,
ALWAYS A GUNNER
Down and out and out from the Mangs. And its still a three horse race. You see I chatted with a few toppies. Arsenal and Man Utd, yes Man Utd play attractive footie. A spade is a spade. When you watch them you realise how s#2te Liverpool play domesti soccer. 2-0 down ans a sensational Come Back. Cesc Fabregas to the rescue. I enjoyed the game. And to top it all of Arsenal were 10 men. I was watching with my toppie when the red card incident happened. his words were "The Refs are like the Metro Kops, They think they own the freakin institution" Just the way these Muggs dish out fines so do the Refs dish out cards....Anyone agree with this

BRAVO BRAVO TANGO ALPHA
Interesting weekend, You might wonder what does this title have to do with Soccer, But we spent the weekend with the crew on patrol at the Perimeter of the Istima in Lenz. Its huge. The Perimeter is about 3km surrounded by just Bush. To top it all off the weather was freakin horrendous. But that Perimeter is huge. We had different patrols and okes situated at entrances. Now some of the dangers on patrol. Bandits stealing the zinc and scafolding and the one that scared me the most............We were told ,dont go kopping Zees in the Bush or taking a stroll. Yes, the Rinkhalls. Plenty of Rinkhals slithering in the Bush. But overall it was ok. We on Perimeter duty again Thursday night till Saturday Nite led By Ebie J. The ideal Man in charge. And the Nights ended with "Tango, Foxtrot, Bravo Alpha.............echoeing around the perimeter. Obviously around the fire was footie banterMonday, March 10, 2008
WEEKLY SOCCER ROUND UP
On that morning the great volcano Mount Vesuvius began to belch forth steam, gases, lava, and flames. Then began a hail of pumice stones up to 3 inches (7.6 centimeters) in diameter, followed by a torrent of white ashes. For nearly two days white ashes fell like snow on the doomed cities.
Most of the people of the two cities escaped as the eruption began. Those who sought refuge in cellars were suffocated by stifling sulfur fumes or crushed under falling roofs. In Pompeii alone about 2,000 perished. Its usual population was probably about 20,000, but the city may have been crowded with summer visitors. The most famous casualty of the great eruption was Pliny the Elder. He was in command of the Roman fleet in the Bay of Naples and took ships across the bay to Stabiae in an unsuccessful attempt to rescue refugees.
When the cloud lifted it revealed widespread devastation. Herculaneum lay completely buried under more than 60 feet (18 meters) of mud and volcanic material. At Pompeii 8 to 10 feet (2 to 3 meters) of pumice and 6 or 7 feet more of ashes covered everything but the tops of buildings. So great was the alteration of the seacoast that Pompeii, which was a seaside town before the eruption, now lies far inland.
Now Centuries later, and on this blog the Volcano erupted again in Pompey, only this time the MANCS got POM' PED BY POMPEY. AND THE VOLCANO ERUPTED.
THEATER OF DREAMSEbie J phoned me on Saturday smirking and giggling. I knew it. We laughed and discussed the MANCS exit. I immediately sent out a chain sms to the MANCS. The Muggs were furious, Now lets discuss the TREBLE. What is the Treble. THE FA CUP, THE CHAMPIONS LEAGUE, AND THE LEAGUE. Now the MANCS will have no treble. But you know the MANCS, They responded by sending me profane messages like "SHUT THE F#4K UP, BARNSLEY MAYET". etc etc.
Perhaps the toppie was two complacent, he had a full strength team, I mean Carrick was playing.
Nevertherless and incredible feeling.
A wise man once said "THAT WHEN THE LAAKRIE (STICK) HITS YOU, IT MAKES NO NOISE. And for all the punishment they dished us, the Stick is Hitting.
SULOMAN "F3$KEN" MONTARI is what I told them. The MANCS kept on saying how unlucky they were and that the ball is round and stuff like that.
BUT its the greatest feeling to have witnessed the eruption of POMPEY in 2008.
FROM THE KOP ENDI just got some breaking news from Ejaz
Liverpool's joint owner, George Gillett, has agreed to sell 49 per cent of the club to Dubai International Capital in a deal worth up to £170 million, it was claimed yesterday.
According to Amanda Staveley, head of PCP Capital Partners, the private equity firm handling negotiations on behalf of DIC, Gillett agreed the deal in principle late on Friday.
Walking alone? George Gillett (left) is reported to have agreed to sell 49 per cent of his stake to DIC
"The legal documents have yet to be signed, but we're really pleased," said Staveley. "Of course we want to own Liverpool outright but this large stake is a great start."
DIC now need to agree on a partnership with Gillett's co-chairman and fellow American, Tom Hicks, who has made it clear he has no intention of giving up his control of Anfield.
Despite Hicks' angry attack on Staveley on Saturday, in which he accused the financier of leaking private correspondence to this newspaper, he has not ruled out the possibility of a key meeting with DIC executives in Dubai today.
His son, Mack, and two senior Hicks Holdings executives, Casey Shilts and Roy Bailey, had already scheduled unrelated meetings in Dubai this week to discuss a property deal and both DIC and a spokesman for Hicks confirmed last night that talks on the future of Liverpool were likely to take place over the next few days.
According to the deal, agreed in outline last week, Hicks would take one per cent off Gillett to give him a majority holding of 51 per cent. DIC would then control the other 49 per cent.
On the whole though Kop owes...What a feeling to see a consistant Liverpool. Why coudnt we do it earlier. Those 5 draws were ten points in the bag. Torres is class, Stevie G is on fire.

WEEKLY SOCCER ROUND UP
Many things happening this weekend. First up was Foxtrotting with Cesc Fabregas on Friday. Dont want to go into detail but just remember a FOX TROT pizza. On Saturday was a SPORTS CHAT at Kentucks. The panel of experts was myself, mo, Junski, Di Danks, Hazrat & Mols. It entailed some great debates, even some cricket. I hear that there is a indian lity thats doing well in teh under 19 world cup.Took some wickets. On Sunday was a star studded function again. Plenty footballers on show here. More so it was a KOP Function. It was great to be rubbing shoulders with so many Koppers. Only thing missing was singing YNWA when the bride and groom left. Lol. Waseem,Zee Mayet, Mams, Baboo Wadee,The Anfield hardcore was there. And it seemed to have rubbed off on liverpool.3-1 against Bolton. But glittering function. Closest I think wel get to a European night on home soil. Oh and the reigning tunnie champios Gknotts and Gminty were there too. So surrounded by Stars is what I call it.
FROM THE KOP END3-1 against Bolton, Good result. I said to Mams, Now IF ONLY WE WERE SO CONSISTANT. Oh and I chatted to the lads about the new grey strip we will be donning next year. Perhaps the omen will come back. The grey Candy strip was the last of the Mohican's. But a good Liverpool result and well we can rejoice as we already have a foot in the door against Inter
THEATER OF DREAMSHad a meeting with a badaam and I just saw the MANCS 3-0 up. I said , what to do now. At Kentucks on Saturday Night we debated against Die Danks and Hazrat about who the star player of Utd has been this season. We spoke about Carrick, the 18 million pound Mugg whom many believe has had a cracker of a season.I dont know what the MANCS think on who has been a star performer beside Ronnie. But they once again easily got three points and are proving to be dangerous. Wel see what Chavel says...
ALWAYS A GUNNERf#4ks sake. We can never rely on Wengers men, They hold a 1 point lead. You know whats a bad is when the MANCS are allowed to come from behind. Now Gunners, remember what was said in the beginning of the year. "WENGERS LITYS WILL THROW IT AWAY". Any comments. At least they stole in the end and the MANCS are a pint behind. Nicholas Bendtner the Robin Hood who steals from the rich and gives to the poor
CHEL$KI4-0. And Ballack in the centre stage again. Does anyone know what happened to FRANK LAMPARD. LOKS. Please answer. And to the neutrals one of the debates at KENTUCKS was that Lampard is the c#$kest and most overated player. But a healthy four for Chelsea. Oh and comments please about the bust up with KATE AND Terry. Other speculation at the Bridge is that Grant is history at the end of the season
