BABOR BABOR ARGENTINA-BYE BYE

Look from an Italian perspective, better we play the Germans in Dortmund on Tuesday than Argentina. Make no mistake Germany are going to be tough to beat on home soil. But Pekkerman what on earth were you thinking. How the f^*k can you take off Riquelme
.
How the hell can you leave players like Saviola and Lionel Messi on the bench. Everybody knows that you cannot sure up a 1-0 lead against the Germans with 20 minutes to go. These fucken owes are machines.

I take you back to 1982. This was one of the great encounters of the World Cup, with the Germans striking the first blow. The French defence in Dissarray and Libartski's shot was unstoppable. German elations and french gloom. No hint to the drama to come. But the skills of France began to blossom and West germany made their first mistake, a penalty. Shumacher the German goalkeeper went the one way the ball the other.A perfect penalty by Platini. Extra time and France took control. Tracor, his volley a beauty. And then another flowing and decisive move by the French rounded of by Giresse. France were looking unstoppable. But the Germans are fighters and they made it 3-2 and in the dieying minutes of extra time. FISCHER HOOKED IN THE EQUALISER. GERMANY WENT ON TO WIN ON PENALTIES.

Didnt Pekkerman watch that game in Spain 82
Look we all soak up pressure. But take your stars off and replace them with Julio Cruz,LEAVE MESSI ON THE BENCH. Im sorry Pekerman you will be targeted later on as my MUGG of the Week, fighting off some contenders like Wayne Rooney.

Jose PEKERMAN (ARG) "We haven't made the progress that we were hoping for. I really regret the fact that we haven't achieved the goals we set ourselves. Am I going to stay on as Argentina manager? No, I think it's time for me to go. It's the end of an era, and I definitely won't be staying on.
We didn't expect to have the problems that we did. We had to substitute two players, and that cost us dear. Germany had the advantage of being more adaptable than we were. We were pretty much on top throughout the match, and my players gave their all. I always felt that we were better than Germany, but that's not always enough to get the win. All that I can say is that Argentina played good, attractive football and won the fans over. This team has given the people back home a lot of joy and grounds for optimism. The players were worthy of the footballing tradition that we have in Argentina, and our country will always remember how well they performed at this tournament. Sometimes, though, history isn't fair. It's just a shame that Argentina are out of this World Cup. We could feel that the fans were behind us all the way through the tournament, and I can assure them that Argentina will carry on playing great football."

This is what the man had to say. Im sorry Pekerman you have not only let the team down but you have failed a nation. And Argentina were playing the best soccer in the World Cup. Terrible and negative substitutions.
Here are some of the comments made by some Argie Fans.
