INTO THE ROUGH

Well Once again some guys have emailed me and said they want some Cricket posts. Now I really want you owes to comment on this so I can sense the feeling of the owes out there.

I was feeling bad for Hash, But look these things happen. How many times has Kallis, Rudolph, Gibbs. (Reshads Father) Gone cheaply in succession. Now this is Hash's first hurdle in difficult conditions. Already on News24 I heard owes calling for changes. I can tell you one thing If Hash is dropped there will be a f(&king uproar on my blog.

Once again you go Hash. We are with you all the way!

Now we come to an interesting talking point. The PAKIS. I was in Fordsburg many a time during sporting events like Wimbledon, World Cup, FA Cup. Why is it always that people draw the following conclusion.
Wayne Ferreira vs Agassi @Wimbledon.
Comment "ORH WAYNE FERRIRA IS LIKE THE PAKIS, HOT ONE MINUTE AND COLD THE NEXT"

ENGLAND VS PORTUGAL "ORH ENGLAND ARE LIKE THE PAKIS, THEY WILL PLAY WELL AND ONE DAY THEY ARE ABSOLUTE SHIT THE NEXT "

There are so many examples. I can go on and on. Look they are a class outfit. But what is the story here. Id like to hear your owes views.
I knew someone once & she knew most of these owes. Some of them were characters. From throwing peanuts on to the people having breakfast in Sandton Towers To bar brawls, These owes have been there.
And after a gruelling nite out these owes are up early bowling down the Corlett Drive End. Mind you though the new owes are steadfast and are real role models to the up and coming youth. Guys like Saeed Anwar, Yusuf Youhana, Inzi. These owes are steadfast in their deen and cricket.

Maybe it was just one of those days. Every team has them I suppose. Or maybe it was MONTY PANESAR. I read earlier in the week that the English Crowds are lambasting this poor fellow when he misfields etc. Harmison urged the public to stop giving Monty stick as he is an asset o the team.

Look the man might be bowling well here but PONTING and those owes will F?7* him up on time let me tell you.

As for our owes. There is not enough space to lambast these Muggs. Cricket was never my thing really but Id like to hear ur owes views.

  1. As a Paki supporter myself, I would like to think that they just had a really shit performance.... I know guys always go on about how pakis blow hot and cold... but to be fair this side under Woolmer and Inzi have been very consistent over the last 18 months...

After loosing to Aus in Dec 2004, they played 3 away series (India, Windies and Sri Lanka), they won all the ODI series, came from behind to draw the test series against India and Windies and beat SL in test series... they also played 3 home series (Sri Lanka, India and England)... they came from behind to draw the test series with SL, beat india in the test series but lost the ODI series, and they thumped England in both the test and ODI series...

So all in all in 3 home and 3 away series.... they drew 3 test series, won 3 test series, won 4 ODI series and lost 1 ODI series...

So basically their loss to England was their first really bad performace for a long time... the real test now is if they can stage a come-back in the remaining 2 tests....

As for Monty... he is a quality spinner.... you should remember that so far he has only played against teams from the sub-continent, who are considered to be better players of spin... so that proves that he is quality.... i also don't think the poms give him stick... in fact he has built up a cult-like following in the UK....okes are wearing turbans and stuff in the crowd...

As for SA, they were hopeless... only hope that Amla comes good in the next test... a ton will be good.

  2. U RIGHT SWOOSH

I think Gily, Hayden and those owes will f%*k Monty up in the Ashes.

What about Alan Kourie. Why doesnt SA call him back. That owe is still probably the best spinner in the country.

  3. What about this mugg? Bodi
His a spinner, gets selected to play for SA, Breaks his finger and is out for the tour.
He recovers and than concentrates on batting, to become an opening batsmen, what was he thinking, making the SA side as an opening batsmen? can some1 plz tell me why is he not bowling? i mean he could have made it if he bowled well last season, but the mugg didn't bowl...
