I watched the second half with Biggy, And what a better result and setting to see Roma beat Man Utd. There were couple of lads there like Afzal Mayet, and the Utd Owes were in the Perishans. I tell you there is no better face to see in football then a Utd Fans FACE when they are losing. But then hings changed and the smiles came back flying in when Rooney scored what was a class goal. Christiano Ronaldo ran 2 3rds of the pitch and the lity is class. I wonder If he will get European Footballer of the year. Then came in Vucinic and the Perishaans set back in. Roma I think will rue the chance of not hitting these b@#$ards about 5. In all fairness United batled with ten men. I got a call from Hoosain & the Punisher. Both agreeing that the away goal was crucial, the latter though claiming the ref was against United. Biggy looked confident going into Old Trafford. For me the result is waht counts and FORZA ROMA

As Tommy Smith with a "Y" says Valencia got a crucial road goal. Poor Mourinho. I mean how can the bAS#$d concentrate when rumors are flying that Guus will replace the man. But to concede that crucial away goal. Maybe Chelsea will lose the game on purpose so Mourinho doesnt have to come to Anfield again. For an Italian team to concede after being up is quite difficult. Milan somehow seem to be lacking somewhere. But Bayern now have that two precious away goals and after beating Madrid the season is heading for a great Finale.

guess u guys deserved that victory, those psv punks didnt even feature, not to say i wanted them to win, what i want is a united,liverpool final so we can give it to u in the 93min again!, seriously, good job,u guys are thru to the next round. united still got a shit load of work to do, roma is no joke, especially since this is the furthest they've been in the CL. they gonna be fired up and the united boys better come out firing...but i don't doubt my team, th job will be taken care of, we will be victorious!
ReplyDeleteIt was always gonna be tough at the Olympic Stadium. What made things worse was the fact that Scholes got sent off. From that moment on we were always on the back foot. 2-1 away from home is not a great result. Yet its not so bad. We still have everything to do in the next leg, but are more than capable of getting through. United are in for a testing end to the season. In theory still in the running for another famous trebble, but with suspensions and injuries we gotta work hard and need the devils luck. Hopefully i'll watch the 2nd leg with swoosh so he can see whats its like when united win.
ReplyDeleteLiverpool are as good as thorugh (altough i expect PSV to put on a better show than they did at home). Chelsea might have to fight a lot more than would like (valencia have the away goal and are playing an the Mestalla), United shouldn't worry too much at home all they really have to do is score 1 and not concede, how difficult is that against Roma. Roma are a good side but to think that they had more than a half against 10 men and only took a 1 goal lead shows how bad they really are. Anyways did you know Cassetti was replaced by Dvdi at half time in yesterdays game.
ReplyDeletewhat pi$$es me off is that the state of refrees are sh1t. soccer is a mans game , & these referee muggs are dishing out cards for nothing. i mean paul scholes getting sent of for that was total k@k. you got to take the knocks & give the knocks. a refree can see if a player is out to hurt another. fifa & uefa need to look into this. it kills the games !!!!!

The roma win over united was once again overshadowed by what seems to be a stereotypical act in Italy & that is fan violence and rioting.I saw images as well as videos of the violence on supersport and i must say it is ruining the beautiful game,italian stadiums need a massive upgrade in terms of security .But just to see united lose was beauty n Liverpools win was brilliant .Extremist badat
ReplyDeletelast night was slightly depressing, no lies, bu at least we got an away goal. now totti n co. gotta come to Old Trafford n try to defend their lead. it is a fact that italian teams are solid at defending but i think that united will have the upper hand, even without scholes. fergie did say that the sending off was fair, i just thought that scholes could've used his head a bit more and not gotten booked for the 1st challenge, maybe the result woudl'v been different with him on the field, who knows? but that's football, no excuses cos we not chelsea..we got more class than that..

ReplyDeleteVidic was sorely missed but it was disappointing to see guys like Giggs and Scholes, except for 2 reckless challenges, non existant on the big European night.
