I ordered some chow on Saturday Night from Al Makah and the Chicken Jal Frezis were flowing. The Bangalees were rampant in Fordsburg and teh surrounding areas. But a dark day to be a Protea.
Look all credit to the Bangalees. They played well. But was there something sinister about the defeat. Perhaps SA want to avoid Austrailia in the semis. At least thats what some toppies had to say. I was at a wedding this whole weekend. The marriage of Wengers daughter. And the toppies were fuming. One toppie said that 1 boundary in 15 odd overs. Were they not concerned about the Net Run rate for a start. Look at the Ozzies against England. Pure Class. We have a spinner and we didnt use one on that flat track. The Bangalees were coming at us with three spinners. What was it, Azee, Mombhai, Biggy, Ebie J. Were we simply outclassed on the day. Was it Sinister. Were we too overconfident.
Time to reshuffle. I say kick Justin Kemp, Bring in Loots Bosman and shift AB down the order. Even though Peterson is the best we got, he will have to do. But as it stands the headline reads SA lost to Bangladesh in the Cricket World Cup.

SA just played bad cricket... these bengal tigers will be a force soon... the guys are young with already plenty of experience... if they get enough exposure against quality teams over the next 4 years, they will be serious semi-final contenders in 2011 when the WC takes place in the sub-continent.
