FROM THE KOP END(For this weekend)
By Ejaz Khan

The Emirates will be the venue for Leagues pace setters on Saturday and the Gunner will be looking to use the point earned at Anfield to come away with a victory against the number two side at present, Sir Alex Ferguson's ever present challengers Manchester United. It promises to be end to end action, though many stars of the recent past from both teams will be watching this match with nostalgic admiration. The PizzaGate fiasco, the seemingly never ending banter from Managers, players, and ex- players all add to the pre-match excitement. Giants from these two teams may have moved on, now its time for Cesc Fabregas and Cristiano Ronaldo do carry the baton forward. Fabregas  might lack the "bite" of Patrick Viera, Cristiano Ronaldo, might lack the strength and courage of Roy Keane, but both these two youngsters have the ability to change games single- handedly, Adebayor and Van Persie (when fit)have jointly taken on the burden of filling Thierry Henry's shoes, and have done so well Arsenal fans have been heard brazenly saying "Thierry who?" recently when asking if The French Striker has been missed. So for all the quality he had provided Arsen Wengers side over the years, he's leaving had not really negatively impacted the London side.

As for United, having resurrected their title defense with incredible performances of recent, still haven't found a replacement ion the same mould as Roy Keane, though Michael Carrick and Owen Hargreaves could eventually fill those boots that now kick Sunderland's players into action. As is usually the case in these big four clashes, it might not be an all out foot fight. Minus Viera and Keane, these encounters lack the combative nature of past, and the good natured, hugs and Hand shakes have replaced the cursing and spitting.

Liverpool, Blackburn, Chelsea  and Manchester City supporters will be hoping for a draw!

Do us all a favour please !

  5. "Gunner will be looking to use the point earned at Anfield"

Point earned, I think it was the least that Arsenal deserved. We should have "earned" three points instead.

Anyway, this weekends game will be a one of the stiffer tests, of the league. However I feel Chelsea will provide the Gunners with a more challenging defensive display. United are on a good winning streak and Arsenal are not playing too badly either.

At least it will be a good game with two more attacking sides. Arsenal need to keep the momentum going, and need to win this one, a draw is not necessarily a bad result, but a loss might affect the youngsters in the coming games.

Personally, the ref will make the difference.
