I remember the pain of Calciopoli. The hurt is over now. Juventus are back in the group stages of the Champions League. A 1-1 draw was enough in Bratislava thanks to Amauri. Even though Juve were 4-0 up in aggregate, there was still no time to be complacent. Now we back with the Big Boys. Lets just hope the draw is kind enough. But in Europe you need to bring on the big boys sooner or later. Also mighty Sapnish Giants Barcelona are through as well.

When Juve used to play my nerves used to get shot. The tension was unbearable. And when we got relegated to Serie B, it was a big loss. My passion, the adrenalyne. MILAN, Aug 30 (Reuters) - Juventus might drop their appeal against a match-fixing ruling that demoted them to Serie B in exchange for a lesser penalty, a source close to the Italian club said on Wednesday.

Dropping the appeal could clear the way for the start of the Serie A season, which has been delayed by two weeks to Sept. 9 as Juve appeal to a civil court against a sports tribunal's ruling that sent them down to Serie B with a 17-point penalty.

Juve have been unfairly dealt with. However the projidical son remains. Del along with Buffon and Nedved are staying to help Juve's Cause. This is sublime for me and whatever injustices have been served sources from Turin Strongly state that Juventus will appeal this decision and even take it to High Court. Basically they are going all the Way and Fighting it all the way. Below is the actual letter Del Piero wrote to the Biannconeri Fans

Dear Friends

Over the last few days I have been casting my mind back over the course of the season, one which ended with our 29th scudetto, my seventh with the Bianconeri. There are so many moments that brought us together and that I have imprinted in my mind and heart. I want to begin with last one, the roar that welcomed me to the pitch in Bari, where you had gathered across Italy, the umpteenth demonstration of affection that I have recieved in my 13 years, but in reality many more.

I tried to think back to my childhood and the first time that I recieved a Juventus Shirt. I put it on and felt an emotion that over the course of the years turned into pride, a sense of belonging, the same feelings that are routed in every true Juventus Fan, that of being part of a huge family, of a brotherhood characterised by a legendary tradition. Its very moving to reflect on our history, from November 1st 1897 when a group of men sitting on a bench decided to form a football club to that teams eventual adoption by the Agnelli family, who have never abandoned it and continue, generation after generation, to foster its growth and development with enormous passion. The same passion that unites all of us.

I still remember when I arrived here in 1993 and met Giovani Agnelli for the first time, a towering presence in the same mould as his brother Umberto. I remember the first goals, the first wins, and your affection as it grew over time: we have grown up with one another, experienced joy and occasional disappointment, but it is in sharing these moments, great and less so, that our bond strengthened. I love this club, I have said it before and i will say it again, and everything that it represents, for me, and for you...When we celebrated my goalscoring record together, it wasnt the goals that have made me so happy, rather it was what they represented: a place in Juventus's history, something I have dreamed of since I was a little boy but never imagined would become a reality.

I'm exceptionally proud to be a 'Juventino', to be a flag bearer, as I'm often called, but in reality I'm only a small part of Juventus whole that grows with the passing of the years. If each of you look closely enough you'll find your name there too...as this club continues to grow, everyone of us will be needed: We will stand united!

What a day. Where are all the Milan Big Mouths. Most of them are not making a hooha becuase they all support Liverpool. Steven Gerard. "What a Hit".
