WOZA SA 2010 WOZA

Well the question arises time and time again. Can we do it. Well I for one hope we can. We must. But from a non technological perspective AND a footballing perspective. Are we going to be Muggs again and mess up at the first hurdle. What is the First Hurdle, The Coaching Problem.

Id like to hear what you owes have to say really. Lets track back. Clive Barker. What a chap. The man I think had the best SA Squad to date. Guys like Sizwe, Nyathi, Lucas, Shoes, Doc, HOH TINKLAR, HOH TINKLER TINKLA TINKLER, FEEEEEEEESH. I mean the squad had unity, Mohabett. Then Masinga takes them to the first World Cup Ever. What happens, We dont see the aeroplane celebration anymore and In comes Philleep. Come on Azee. How can yo give the man so little time to create a miracle. Barker should have never been booted to start off with. Then we ended up with a situation with kebaabs like Naughty Boy Mokena and Willem Jackson in the World Cup Squad. Philleep was great, Look what he did to Burkino Faso. He brought them from no hopers to a challenging team. Our owes were spoilt with facilities. These owes had fu&*all.

Then came Jomo . Jomo was a king in his day. But he seems to be coming in during all the Big Tournaments and then chucking.

Then we had Carlos Queroz. The man had Pedigree. What happens We boot him and He goes to madrid. Who comes Back Jomo.

At this point in time we are cuck lets face it. We need a guy that will install team spirit in the Chaps. A guy like MARCELO LIPPI.

Now we got okes like Parreira on a billionairs package, JOMO AGAIN, Gorden Ingusson and I heard this Morning Some Dutch guy. I think Danny Blind.

Whoever we will employ they will take us all the way and then Jomo will come in two weeks before the World Cup. I long to see the days when we had players like Helman "Midnight" Express Makhalele. Linda "Mercedez Benz" Buthelezi, Shane McCgregor for crying out loud. I'l personally go with Gordon Ingesund. I think the bloke has got what it takes and is not greedy like the foreign coaches. Or better yet Why dont we call Guna Padayachee, Our Oliver Khan, Gavin Lane, or even Terry Paine MBE can do the blasted job. What are your owes views on this.

Coz if we want to go far we need to rectify this situation first!!!!

  1. Barker was blasted to early. They have kept changing the coach since then.

Igesund is the most deserving from a local guy. He has won 3 titles with 3 different clubs. They were not big clubs ie: manning rangers and santos.

If they go foreign they going to pay big dosh. Danny Blind might not be a bad option. He will be cheaper then other guys. He was a star for Ajax and Holland inthe late 80's early 90's.

I think the problem lay in the fact that our players have no pride in the bafana jersey. Thye dont have a hunger to play for bafana and a hunger and desire on the park when they play?

  2. A further problem is that our local supporters and players have this belief that we are on a par with the Brazils and Italys of this and the PSL is equal to the Premiership or La Liga. We may have talent but in terms of the scientific aspect of football we're light years behind. Our fitness, strength training and conditioning methods are severely lacking both in an African and Global perspective. For a country with the best facilities having only one winner of the African CL- Pirates is pathetic. What are the the lads thoughts on the influx of foreigners into the PSL and the impact its haivng on our national team.

    SETH.

  4. IN ALL HONESTY THE DID NOT DESERVE TO BE AT THE WORLD CUP, THE OTHER 5 AFRICAN TEAMS WILL THRASH THEM EVEN ANGOLA AND TOGO.

WE STRUGGLE TO BEAT SWAZILAND ZIMBABWE MALAWI IN THE COSAFA CUP, OUR UNDER23'S BATTLE TO BEAT THESE SAME SIDES AT THERE UNDER 23 LEVEL. WE HAVE SERIOUS PROBLEMS WHICH I DOUBT 1 BIG NAME COACH CAN CURE?

  6. We can get the best coach in the world, but SAFA needs restructuring!!!

We can get the best coach in the world, but if the players lack the spirt of wearing the jersey than we fighting a loosing battle.

Come 2010 we need a commited, dedicated and focused team. Any team with the right attitude can make things happen, its not the coach who plays, but the team.

Trust me come 2010, I wont be surprised the players having issues about match fees again.
I SAY PAY THE PLAYERS AFTER THE WORLD CUP HAS ENDED…

MINDSETS NEED FIRST TO BE CHANGED... This is not PSL OR an african nations cup... Its the F#@KIN WORLD CUP... WE CANNOT AFFORD TO GO OUT 1ST ROUND!!!
