Paul Eaton 12 August 2009 New signing Alberto Aquilani enjoyed watching his first competitive action as a Liverpool player earlier today when he joined Rafael Benitez at the Academy to see the Reds in a behind closed doors friendly. Aquilani, who will be officially paraded as a Liverpool player later this week, sat alongside his new manager to talk football as Liverpool overcame Oldham 2-0, thanks to goals from Lucas and Daniel Ayala. Here are the first snaps of our new boy since he completed his transfer from AS Roma.
