ReplyDeleteI think Ballack is class. Remember this is his first season in the English Premier league, and it does take time to adjust. The other issue is that at Bayern he was the central figure in the team, and at Chel$i he is not.

It is not fun watching Chelsea play anymore.
What is Shaun Wright-Phillips doing at Chel$i? Aaron Lenenon from Spurs is going to become a better player and make greater strides, while SWP is just there to cash in his paychecks. Players do not go to Chel$i to make a name for themselves or to become stars, they are allready stars when they are bought. Maybe they are the new "EL-Galatico"
With the players the Chel$i have recently bought, it seems like they want to win the Champions league. They bought players with BMT.

Well Chelsea's money has "bought" them two back-to-back league titles. It has also put Abromhovich on the world stage.

Chelsea deserve the credit for winning two leagues... its really not a joke... and in the first season they broke lots of records... give jose and his boys credit... Most of us dont like chelsea... cos they came from "nobody MUGGS to the big men on the block" maybe if you liverpool muggs can get points off them and stop bitching about them, then Man United can win the league..

Jomo my ass. it takes alot to get the best out of 15 guys who all think the sun shines out of there ass. To get them to play as a winning team is not easy. to get them to buy into squad rotation etc, its hard.
Lets not forget chelsea have been building since the mid nineties under ken bates. they got gullit, viali, zola,de mateo, hoddle as coach . they were building. As guvie told me Gullit as manager was the first guy in the premiership to try squad rotation.
they were not muggs. money dont buy succes, it gives you a good chance but you still need astute management.
Mourinho has won things without money as well at Porto. it shows he earned his way to the cheasea job.
