SWOOSHING IT UP WITH MAMELODI SUNDOWNS

Last week I got a call from Matthew Booth.The Sundowns football team was interested in visiting the CHOC ward at JHB General Hospital. So we swooshed it up with Mamelodi Sundowns.The kids and the ward were so excited. Matthew was instrumental in the project and I cant thank him enough. The little kids and patients were overwhelmed by their visitors.I chatted to a few of the Bafana Players and Brian Baloi. They were really taken aback by the expereince and made it so worthwile.

For me a memorable moment was when the team sang a song at the ward and made a special prayer for the kids and their parents. It was special and truely memmorable Swooshing it up with the Sundowns team.

Swoosh0018 also attended the Walk for DHISA at ROSE PARK in Lenasia.We contributed the bubbles and assortments for the Kids to entertain themselves.It was a spectecular day for all.
It was amazing for me and Swoosh0018 to make a contribution.Thank you to our Sponsor.Too see spirit and a zest for life portrayed by these kids was amazing. They are so commited to what they do despite their disabilities.Their passion,singing and dancing made our day so much of fun. HEAVENS SPECIAL CHILDA meeting was held quite far from earth
"Its time again for another birth"
said the angels to the lord above
"This special Child will need much love"

Her progress may seem slow,
accomplishment she may not know
and shell require extra care
from the folks she meets down there

She may not laugh,run or play
her thoughts may seem far away
in many ways she wont adapt
and she'l be known as handicapped

So lets be careful where she is sent
we want her to be content
Please Lord find her parents who
will do a special job for you

They will not realise right away
The leading role that they have to play
but with this child sent from god
comes stronger faith and richer love

and soon they'll know the privilege given
in caring for the gift from heaven
their special charge so meek and mild
is "Heavens very special child"

A very special "Thank You" to Roshnee Islamic school for raising R68 000 toward the CHOC ward for Cancer. In an amazing project spearheaded by Aneesa Badat the kids went on a collection spree and raised the money. Swoosh0018 Charity foundation often assists the CHOC Ward at JHB General hospital.
This is amazing.Well done Roshnee Islamic School and all involved.The money was used to buy machinery for the ward. God Bless you guys
