I just wanted to thank Liverpool for hosting us twice in four days.
ReplyDeleteThe atmosphere seemed electric and their fans were magnificent. Pity about their players.
I heard that Dudek injured his back, from picking up the ball out of the net 6 times.
We look forward to playing there again at the end of March.

After Bruce Rioch was sacked Wenger came in brought in a whole lot of flair players and now play very good football .
Liverpool FC are the most succeessful team in England but i'm not living in the past with that success. My point was that most of Arsenal supporters today were born yesterday !!!
Cisse dont make so many assumptions, there are many of us who've been supporting arsenal all our lives, you guys thrive on your past history but that has no basis in todays times, its been so long since you won the league no one even remembers, rather be a good sport and congratulate arsenal for a winning performance than make excuses and try to put them down and there supporters down, arsenal will finish above liverpool in the league and do better in the champions league.

Yes Arsenal are behind Liverpool on league titles (18 to 13) but Arsenal did win more fa-cups (10 to Liverpool's 7)
I was supporting Arsenal, when we were considered "boring" and Ian Wright and Alan Smith were scoring the goals. Which teams had "flair" in those days?
By the way, the Arsene Wenger "period" is much more successfull for Arsenal than George Graham's.

George Graham won a UEFA Cup, Wenger won nothing in Europe . Graham won a League Cup , Wenger never. Graham won League titles so did Wenger,Graham won FA Cups and so did Wenger. Wenger has won 4 Fa Cups to Graham's 1.
Graham has won 2 league cups and Wenger nothing. (Who cares about the league cup)

Basically, I think you cannot take the two defeats in four days at the hands of the Arsenal players. I know it is tough but you need to get over it like Arsenal supporters do when we lose to teams like Southampton or West Ham.
