While Mr Loonat is away his Madrid team stuttered again and were booed off after a lowly draw with Betis. Beckham got sent off,Ronaldo shipped off and Van Nistelrooy missing Utd. Barcelona slumped to a 2-1 defeat and Valencia have opened up the title race. Exciting stuff there.
In Italy Inter are gone with the title, Roma and Livorno slumped but Milan thanks to a brace from Ronaldo prove two things 1. We'll Man U did make things difficult as they failed to overcome a second string Reading side. United will now have to deal with the extra fixture and take on Reading at the home stadium which is not the easiest place to walk away with a victory. All credit to Reading who are proving themselves as worthy opponents in both league and cup. Hopefully Man U can keep the bookmakers happy and grab the victory and march on in the cup and Whip Chelsea at the new Wembly Stadium.
ReplyDeletewhat a frustrating perfomance by the united boys! i was left tearing my hair out after that stingy bastard saha refused to pass the ball to larsson cos he wanted to go for glory. larsson was free as a bird and would have slipped the ball comfortably into the net. now the replay is added frustration and could end up being a big mess for united..hope saha got the hairdryer treatment tho.. :)
