I know a while back we had a debate on whether the Carling Cup is a big thing. To me, correct me if I am wrong, Chelsea and the SPECIAL ONE took it quite seriously. Chelsea went out to win ,win ,win. Credit to the toppie Wenger as his lities played well and deserved a result I thought. He played the lities from the beginning and persisted with them throughout. I was relieved to see Jhon Terry is doing well. That was a horrific challenge and one thing the lad Terry always throws his body on the line. Thats great qualities of a captain and great qualities for England. And from a footballing perspective it was disgusting to see what happened in the end with the brawl. This just proves two things to me. The Carling Cup is serious and Adebayor was pathetic. The man was in the class of a owe going HULL in a qawaali session. Its started with Toure & Mikel ,Lampard and Fabregaz had no business to be there but watch Adebayor. Thats still ok. Whats worse is that his behaviour after. He needs to sit the Mugg. The fact Mourinho played a full strength team and that wenger sided a second string team is not a reflection on how big the game was, he stuck by his word and the youngsters who got them to the final played and i stand by his decision. Dont take anything away from the youngsters who gave chelsea a good run for their money and we might not have had our superstars but henry, gallas, rosicky and co who are fit did not play in the previous games so did not merit a place in the final.
ReplyDeleteIts a final so of course it would be a big game, arsenal controlled most of the game with their fluidity and passing but it does not count and well done to chelsea, controversy always surrounds such games and there was no shortage at the end but that just shows the dedication and heart both teams were playing with and how desperately they wanted to win.
Being the first ever london derby final there was alot of pride at stake and chelsea might have won but the lighties will walk away with pride knowing they played well and chelsea were not a dominant force as arsenal dominated quite abit, the talent coming through is good to see and reiterates wengers eye for talent, zam ram we might have lost but good on the boys for a good match
As much as I hate Man United, I must say that Ronaldo is something special!

Its one thing if you have moments of spells, but this lity has being consistent throughout this current campaign… Im one that wishes Man United bad luck every fuckin game, as im ABU… On Saturday the draw was on the cards, then came this lity with his moment of brilliance….
