CHAMPIONS LEAGUE SECOND LEG

ARSENAL VS PSV

The featured match if you may call it that as I watched the game with a panel. Myself,Faaiz Oz & Asif and Salfaraz Laher. Faaiz the poor Mugg didnt say JACK on the way back. He kept on mumbling "Ya Next Year,Our Youngsters played well, Adebayor is a Mugg,Henry's heart is not there". I said to him "How the f$%k can Hleb do such a ghastly thing in his own 1/4 of the field, with ten minutes to go. Its a Sin to give away a set piece in that timeframe. If Big Moose was captain he would have torn Hleb to shreds. You just cant do that. And duely so Alex scored his second to Put the Arsenal Stinkers out of Europe. PSV are now the weakest team on paper out of the 8 and I bet they will draw Man Utd.

MAN UTD VS LILLE

I really thought Lille will come to OT pissed off. But on a European Night at OT its really difficult to get anything. But credit to them for progressing to the next phase and making things interesting.

AC MILAN 1 CELTIC 0

The poor Bhouys, Out in extra time at the San Siro. Kaka scoring the winner. And the Scots exit. Lets be honest I dont think they had the firepower to take Europes biggest Competition. But Milan can and will be beaten

BAYERN MUNICH 2 REAL MADRID 1

I sent Riyad Loonat a message late last night. Again no reply. Shocking defending especially when you go into a the second leg a goal to the good. Madrid deserved to go out. They are a shadow of what they were. Its times like this that you really miss Juve. The Germans on the other hand will be a formidable threat and always difficult to beat

LIVERPOOL VS BARCELONA

To hear the Kop singing as demonstrated in the video below was just sublime. The lads pulled of a great victory and we dumped Barcelona the Champions out of Europe and in the interim probably ended Frank Rijkaards Barcelona career. BUT REMEMBER WE DIDNT BEAT MAN UTD WE BEAT BARCELONA. THOSE MUGGS STILL NEED TO BE DEALT WITH. On the game itself Some Nervous and anxious moments indeed especially when Gujdonsen sprung the offside trap. Ronaldinho hit the bar and I wont lie the feeling wasnt as stressful as that when Juventus are playing in Europe BUT MORE IMPORTANTLY WE DUMPED BARCELONA OUT OF EUROPE AND WE WILL NEVER WALK ALONE. According to the B.O.O.T. (black guy on Top Sport.) Theory. BARCELONA ARE EUROPEAN CHAMPIONS.LIVERPOOL BEAT BARCELONA =LIVERPOOL ARE EUROPEAN CHAMPIONS. But what a result, what a result. Cisse and the boys must be gloating after the pain suffered over the weekend. But like I said we beat Barcelona and not Man utd

CHELSEA VS PORTO

I must admit I thought an upset was on the cards here. Especially when Porto went 1-0 Up. It wasnt looking like Chelsea's night. But enter Robben and finally Ballack showed himself on the big occassion. Credit to Ballack. He had a shocking first half but he toiled and toiled away and got something for the Blues. A relieved Mourinho and his players now March into the quarters

LYON VS ROMA

A shock result for me here. Once again the under achievers of Europe dumped out courtesy of Roma who is led by Totti and a good group of youngsters. And Lyon the dark horses are history.

VALENCIA VS INTER

You see when you cheat also at other peoples expense and take the driving seat bcoz of Juve frustration sets in when you are aptly beaten fairly against a resolute and compact team like Valencia. Inter should get severely penalised for that brawl in the end that was something I only seen at Tech Grounds and Block Park last. But Valencia deserved it and Inter again miss out on the European dream with a host of big name players. Serves them right.

i must admit last nights game was something.
Barca had no chance at all liverpool were on them
so if liverpool meet man united here and play the way they did last night i think united gonna loose where it counts most.

  6. According to B.O.O.T liverpool beat the european champions and utd beat liverpool so that makes UTD:

    The best in europe boys

  7. Chelsea are through but that was expected, liverpool were lucky to make it but luck seems to be on the other english teams these days look at utd's goal against lille, its a shame some poor team is going to have to play us in the quarters knowing they going to lose but thats life, there can be only one and thats chelsea, UTD gona lose and Arsenal are useless i already wrote them of and since liverpool wont progress any further than the quarters looks like only chelsea's going to be flying the english flag but its expected

  14. Well done to you liverpool muggs. To be honest Barca never really looked like getting the 2 goals they needed. Liverpool closed them down well and are proving to be a european power house. What you boys thought of Gerrards dive??? Come on... lets see who can be honest and admit he dived.

  15. Biased, FU*KEN Biased, that's what i'm going to call your reporting and your bloggers.

United get a lucky goal and we dont hear the end of of how all our success is down to luck.

Those monkeys that play at the Bridge get a gift from the Porto keeper and not a mention is made of that. Or was i the only 1 to see that Robben got the luckiest goal in the world!

Naseem, you need to call it straight!

  16. LIVERPOOL WERE JUST SUPERB LAST NIGHT AND AT THE NOU CAMP ,WE OUTPLAYED BARCA LAST NIGHT ONLY FOR KEEPER AND BAR TO STOP US ,AS FOR THE MAN U GAME ,KEEPER STOPPED US FROM A VICTORY AND A GOAL DISALLOWED WHICH IS HARD TO DIGEST ,SO MANU I HOPE YOU WIN TONIGHT AND HOPE YOU DRAW LIVEPOOL IN NEXT ROUND AT ANFIELD SO THAT YOU CAN WATCH ON THE TELLY LIKE CHELSEA IN 2005 WHEN WE BRING BIG EARS FOR THE 6TH TIME .

  17. Man U came through as expected. However looking at there last 3 games, they haven't been the force they where that lead them to the top of the league.Still a good sign when you not playing your best and winning. This next rounds of the ECL is make or brake with only the big teams left. No real kak sides. Even PSV is decent. They making a name in the ECL. I'm sure most blogg members would back their sides to take the trophy, but don't write off the like of Bayern and Valencia. As for the gunners. You boys should try shooting. No matter how attractive football you play you cannot walk the ball into the net and score the perfect goal. SHOOT.

  20. predictions for 1/4 finals
    chelsea to lose to milan
    manutd to beat valencia
    bayern to beat psv
liverpool to beat roma ( on penalties)

  21. Serves the gunners right and good they lost, the f#@ken muggs wanna pass whole f#@ken game and they expect to win, how long must we wait for shots on goal?

PSV were outplayed, outclassed and out dribbled in both legs and im not being biased but that counts for nothing if you cant out score your opponents, wenger needs to take hleb and make him do 5 hours of taking shots practice coz the f#@ken mugg cant shoot. He took on 5 players and dissected the defence but passes the ball and what we get out of it nothing coz another 5 players were camping in the box, he makes enough space for a shot but lacks that killer instinct infront of goal.

Goodbye to any additions to our trophy cabinet this season and it is deserved, would have been good seeing 4 english teams in the last 8 and hopefully UTD or Liverpool can take it just not chelsea coz mourinho's mouth needs shut up.

Zam Ram next year we'll hope for something but at this rate we are below par and we create chances but no goals

    But in wenger we trust

  22. Faaiz,

I agre with your comments. I knew that this season was not going to be good, with the move to the new stadium and experienced players leaving Arsenal.

If you don't score you don't win.
It is extremely pleasant watching Arsenal's style of play, but often there is no end product to the wonderfull moves and touches.

But having said that Arsenal's future looks good. Wenger has hardly spent that much money but look at the squad we have assembled. We are in need of an established striker and I hope that we sign Frank Ribery for next season. If we are able to keep our current crop of youngsters together we will be an awesome force in two seasons.

All that is left now is to get third sport in the league.
