This weekend I ended up going for a spin in a Porshe Camin. Now THAT IS is CLASS. Class is something that stands out, that is unique, that is solid machine designed for success and high performance. Ebie Kop end brought the Porshe to me , I hopped in and it was sheer class.
On the same token, What we seen on the weekend in yellow in Jamaica sticking it to our lads is sheer CLASS. South Africa Choked again. Lost the Plot and just faded away. Even Abu Bakr Marck Boucher coudnt deliver.
The Ozzies are class bouys even if I am a Protea. I recieved alot of sms's and Biggy and Hoosain Mayet agree that Kallis played for his average and not for the team. Ebie though was at my place and said that 40 odd of 60 balls is not that bad. Once again though the Ozzies f$%ked us up when it mattered the most. GUYS YOUR VIEWS on the weekend.
The rest of the results flowed and India can go watch the AIFA awards now and I watched with my toppie last night. We both thought the Bangalees were going to f#$%k it up
But lets here everyones views on the SA vs OZ match. It should make some interesting banter.
Pakistaan are the only team in the world to go to the World Cup and come home with the ASHES.
ReplyDeleteJ Kallis for Mugg of week. Im calling for his banning from one day cricket. Prince is also next on the list to go. How the hell can you play those 2 together with such a big score???
ReplyDeleteABK
anyone but kallis
there is a difference between being selfish and being unable to do a job. kallis is not lara/ponting. accept that. kallis was not batting for an average. his job was to bat through to 50 overs and allow gibbs, boucher, kemp and pollock to go big on the other side. however as wickets went down he then had to make sure he did not go out.catch 22. where kallis went wrong was that he was unable to speed up after 50 balls. the mistake occurred when kallis was sent in at three. they should have sent in hall/pollock to take advantage of the upcoming powerplay that ponting would have chosen. it would have been worth the risk to chance a lower order batsman for the benefit of an extra 20 runs in a powerplay. but because kallis and gibbs were new to the crease (ab dismissal and smith injury meant that ) they could not take advantage of the powerplay. so kallis was not batting for an average. he tried to leave too much for the end but it caught up with him. the 'selfish kallis' crusade is from those dont understand cricket and just follow
ReplyDeleteAUS pulled it of, SA got of to a good start but choked, couldnt pull it of when it mattered
ReplyDeleteI totally agree. JK played for his average. He is not a team player. The opening pair did so well.We all thought we going to do it. The guy who said that 40 out of 60 balls is not bad should have his had examined. I agree any other game it was good but he doesnt realise its not that good when you need 7.5 runs per over. It flipping shit. All the guys I watched the game with, and let me mention some of these guys were hard south afrikaner seuns, they even agreed that JK could of done better. He sold SA live with it
ReplyDeleteGentlemen a guy that deserves to be dropped is Justin Kemp! When the hell did he score for SA? This guy is F@#kin shit! He shouldnt have gone to the world cup!
ReplyDeleteKallis yes i agree to an extent with some comments, but like Apro Peter Kirsten said, he comes in to steer the ship and give an anchor role! Let say had he gone on to score 100 of 110 balls it would have being fine! We would have being happy!
Ab and smith were sublime but just unfortunate!
It's all about the Tamil Tigers. Murali and Malinga are gonna destroy all that stands before them. If they cant bowl them out they'll scare them out!
ReplyDeleteThe Aussie batting looks phenomenal but their attack lacks variety except for George Bradley Hogg. SA are gonna pay the price for having no decent spinner!
