In response to a comment.Yes I do feels its apt to wish our Local lads that are going to the Carribean for the World Cup. Its indeed an accomplishment to represent South Africa in various means.
First up is Aslam Khota. A man that I bump into often and commentator and Cricket Commentator. Aslam is always open to assist and I find it interesting and rather insightful when I hear his cricketing tales. He always makes time for us.In fact I quite enjoyed his verdict on Sunil Gavaskar. I always knew him as Sunni and never quite knew the opening prowess possesed by Gavaskar. I asked Aslam in my Interview of who he would have bat for his life if it depended on it. And he explained to me why he chose Gavaskar. He also mentioned our very own blog on radio. So Good Luck Over there Aslam
The second is Dr Mohammed Moosajee who will be travelling with the team as team Doctor. Moose obviously needs no intro and Im sure he will remember us in the tropics. If he plays ball on the beach with the Jamaican lities and you see them rattled ,Well then we know Moose was there
So All The Best Lads. We wish you guys all the Luck And I think it will be SUBLIME if SA comes home with the Cup...

SA goes into this World Cup as the number 1 rate team in the World, and deservedly so. With series wins over, West Indies, England, Australia, India & Pakistan, they have the confidence to go there & take this cup.
ReplyDeleteI just hope no Duckworth Lewis halts our progress. We were unlucky with the previous 3 Cups, and should have gone all the way. Let's banish the "Chokers" term from this SA team.
