TRIBUTE

In light of GGMU'S request to make Ole Gunnar Solksjaer a legend that shook the blog, I have decided to pay a tribute to the man instead. I dont think he is worthy of legendry status. But he definately deserves a tribute.

Look there was no better man to come of the bench and when the situation is dead pull it off in the last f#45ken minute. Only Ole could do it. I call it stealing from the poor people. I call it THEFT. You know when someone works hard the whole year,Buys their car, puts 20 inch rims. And someone STEALS it from you after all the hard work

How could we forget the words. "Beckham takes the corner,Sheringham flicks AND ITS SOLKSJAER,MAN UTD HAVE INDEED REACHED THE PROMISED LAND"

The flares in the Nou Camp.

Ole will best be remembered for STEALING from Bayern Munich in the biggest Event in European Football. Alas the lad retired yesterday due to injuries but he will certainly be remembered for pulling Utd out of the Perishaans plenty times

Good Luck Ole, You have served English Football well and a fitting tribute to Babes or the BABY FACED ASSASIN

  1. Perhaps not the most skilful in the world, perhaps not the the best striker in the world but as a fan of Man U this man is def legendry.

He has come off the bench with our backs against the wall and managed to turn things around.

He has been loyal to the club even though he never really secured a place on the starting line up.

    Ole we salute ya!!!
    Thanks for the great service!!

You say his not legendry??? Look at his medal collection!!!

  2. not a united fan(dislike them with a passion) but i have to say in times when players have absolutely no loyalty to clubs that pay them massive amounts of dough, Ole has been a great servant to the scum and he's been instrumental in alot of their success over the years.

Still hate him for scoring late in the F.A cup quarter finals in 95 against us(i think it was 95)..but you have to say that he was a great player and a wonderful servant..adios ole!!

lethal in front of goal, had a knack of popping up to score crucial goals, a true team men, spent alot of his career on the bench but accepted it.

  4. Look I admit he was a loyal servant..But he was like Robin Hood..He commited theft and broke peoples hearts.

I admit there was no better sub to bring on then Ole.

He was responsible Azee for Sammy Koufor leaving that image in my head banging the ground in the Nou Camp in 99

  6. thanx swoosh for acknowledging the outstanding contributions of 'ole the legend'.

it has just been revealed since his retirement that ole actually admits that the first time he felt the tweak in his knee was when he scored the winner in barcelona and done that slide across the pitch (whilst sammi kuffour was chunking on the ground)...the irony!!

anyways, life and united goes on!! but you can be sure that those songs of ole will keep bellowing out of OT... "you are my solksjaer, my only...." GGMU
