From a footballing perspective it was even a better one apart from Man Utd winning. But what to do...sometimes YOU CANT HAVE IT ALL YOUR WAY...I spent the whole weekend listining to how Man Utd will bounce back and Fergurson will never retire.......
I got back at about 4pm and then sat down and watched the game, hoping to put the cherry on the cake for my weekend. Mamoo (a mad man utd fan who is my cuzzy) rang me up and started swearing .Next thing the Im watching the box and the Nani Lity lashes a belter. Mamoo screams and cuts the fone, picks me up later for a Steer Burger. I must admit it was a strike worthy of giving Utd the 3 points. The Penalty decision hit the defender on the shoulder. But Man Utd were lucky to get a victory. I agree with Terry Paine MBE, They didnt deserve to get 3 points. But as I said 3 points is 3 points and they are in Motion. I think thats what counts.
Didnt Ferguson stop the lity from somersaulting?
Veronin seems to be a great aquisition. And watching Tores skin defenders is an amazing site. But there was a bad omen in that of Charaghers injury. Herpia is old now and I guess Agger has to fill the boots now. Big loss. But hows Mamad Sisoko. The next Patric Viera. 3 points again. If we were not robbed at Chelsea it would have been 9
Frank Lampard was on sublime form and the masters of winning ugly showed once again that 3 points is what its all about. Im very impressed with Jhon Obi Mikel. The owe makes it look simple. Mourinho was probably happy. At least he didnt have to slate anybody.
Cesc Fabregas for President. The litys a re proving to be formidable. I guess I was wrong. Also very impressed with that left back with the blonde hair. Eboues brother. Class Act. Faaiz Oz & Co must have been happy
GLOBAL SOCCER ROUND UP
Serie A got underway and great wins for Roma,AC Milan and Juve. Inter drew which was great. But some great teams here and a long way to go.
In Spain all the big guns won and I met a smiling Riyad Loonat.Madrid won. Cannavaro was or is under alot of pressure but Madrid now look solid with the arrivals of Metzelder,Robben & Shneider. BARCELONA drew 0-0 and Rijkard must F#4k off now. Something is not fresh there. Maybe a new man can do the Job
5-1. All the critics we have opened our Serie A account. A hat trick from Trezeguet. I must admit that it will still be tough but we want CHAMPIONS LEAGUE next year and we will get it. One thing that wooried me though was the Del Piero contract talks. Del is unhappy that jis contract demands have not been met. However the bosses said that Del will never leave. I hope he doesnt. He must see out his career in Turin
Now watch united strike ,All we needed was one win and now no one will stop us thrash every team!!!!!Glory Glory Man utd ....Do you Agree Mtn?
ReplyDeletei've been hearing all the complaints about malouda diving from alot of liverpudlians... but then swoosh complained and that made me laugh, coz i remember real lesco vs united fc a deep cross comes in from the right swoosh is at the back post unmarked in the 6 yard box.... all he has to do is chest it down and volley it past the keeper, but wait....
ReplyDeletehe chests the ball 2 meters too far and on feeling the defenders hand tap his shoulder, swoosh spreads his arms and with arms waving he falls to the ground... penalty... but we won the game in the end... but that was worse than malouda... lol
it was a classical site though
thought united didnt play their best against spurs.
ReplyDeletethats football , play brilliantly & dont get a result, or play mediocre & get the result.
UNITEDS first 3 games were played brilliantly, but with no end result.
i think united have alot to work on in defense, but i guess that as the season progresses , the players will settle into the rhythm of things.
some good goals this weekend too.
Nzogbia(spelling) of newcastle & also Mido's goal, both well taken , BUT my pick , definately "NANI".
"go" MAN UNITED ARE BACK !!!!
dont ? sir alex swoosh!
ReplyDeleteits 3 games down and you wanted his head! i think the title will be a closer fought afair this year! i think the mid table okes will have a bigger say in where it goes as the likes of Man city(under the legend sven), bolton, newcastle, wigan, everton, are more comeptitive and will shock the the bog guns more often then in the past!
whats your thoughts on juve this year?
the united muggs were damn lucky if you ask me, spurs were denied two blatant penalty decisions...
ReplyDeleteGlory Glory Man Utd se moer!!!
ReplyDeleteAt the way we playing we not gonna see any glory this year! We don't have a clue up front! Rio and Vidic both had shockers!
We not half the side that won the league last year!
Its still early days but a big improvement is needed.
Did we deserve 3 points???
Who cares! We got them secure and finally a victory under our belt this season!
Biggy I agree with you.
ReplyDelete3 points is three points but UTD'S defense are shoddy.
Kiss Champs League goiodbye..They wont even last in Europe against some of the best attacking players in the world
Liverfools new slogan:
ReplyDeleteYOU'LL NEVER WALK WITH HEINZE!!
YOU F**KERS
Swoosh you tosser!!!
ReplyDeleteStill very early to be kissing trophy's goodbye!!!
We playing shit, no doubt!!!
But don't for a second think we not gonna get better!!
Dont know why so many fans say “it’s too early, it doesnt matter theres still 36 games left”.
ReplyDelete4 points dropped now is EXACTLY the same as 4 points dropped at the end of the year for United. 6 points dropped now is EXACTLY the same come the end of the season for Spurs.
Two year ago when Spurs finished 1 point behind Arsenal, bet they could have used the points they dropped early in the season but said “Don’t worry, there’s still time”.
It’s completely illogical and ridiculous to say that results now don’t matter
