News - Suzuki Kizashi Concept
Something out of a cartoon, Suzuki better known for manufacturing bikes will be debuting this concept known as the Kizashi at the Frankfurt motor show in September. So if you in the area go check it out & give us a comment. It’s intended to be a mass production car with at least 3 derivatives being a 1.0 litre, 1.2 litre petrol & 1.3 litre diesel. The petrol motor producing a maximum of 63Kw.

BMW 550i
The recently released BMW 550i - has a bit of a face lift but it still looks Korean. It has a solid 4.8 liter V8 which will hit 250Km/h in a breeze & bolster to 100km/h in a claimed 5.2s which should translate to around 6.2s at the reef. Base price for the 6 speed manual is about 650K.

Warned you about that below par SnS quality. Last month they did a feature on the new Audi S3& what was really disappointing was that they simply relied on internet cut outs of the car & based their opinion on someone else’s verdict without actually test driving the car. I mean seriously the car was launched in this country 2 months ago, couldn’t they ring up Audi & ask for a test car. Could’nt they have their own photo shoot & test the car on a test track. Like I said before the SnS mag struggles to stack up to the quality of Max Power. Case in point.
LEGENDS - The Legend of the BARN
I have received this story & will relate it exactly as told so heres one for the fascination, one for the legends…
“A New York man retired. He wanted to use his retirement
money wisely, so it would last, and decided to buy a home and a
few acres in Portugal. The modest farmhouse had been vacant for
15 years.; the owner and wife both had died, and there were no heirs.
The house was sold to pay taxes. There had been several lookers,
but the large barn had steel doors, and they had been welded
shut. Nobody wanted to go to the extra expense to see what was in
the barn, and it wasn't complimentary to the property anyway......so,
nobody made an offer on the place.
The New York guy bought it at just over half of the property's worth, moved
in, and set about to tear in to the barn.......curiosity was killing him.
So, he and his wife bought a generator and a couple of grinders.......and
cut thru the welds.
What was in the barn...............?”

Agree with the speed and sound quality but you have to take into account there target market's mainly teenagers & not intellectuals who would probably find more insight buying a "CAR Magazine" for eg.
