"GO" @ the NOU CAMP

So which is the better Network. MTN or Cell C. All I can say that these boys are on the trot. First we had KopOut rubbing shoulders with Becks in LA and now GO visits the Nou Camp. Lucky you guys are not together as you lads would have been bigger than Kevin & Perry.

But Go just had to check out the stadium where his beloved MAN UTD won the treble. So please Go enlighten us on the trip and the magic of the Nou Camp. Also I was so proud to see that Swoosh0018.com made it to the Leaning Tower of Pisa and the Collaseum in Rome.

Yes the caps are out and made by a man called Ahmed Dajee. A man that fought the Marketing wars with me at Wits. The "B" did a class act on th caps and runs his own embroidery company called Emb Art. So whoever seeks Corporate Wear. GIve the man a ring.
Suport my brand if you want a cap.Email me :R50.

Also for the Fun Day we will be endorsed by Diadora gear.So support me there and by your gear. There the proceeds go to Charity.

So "Go" ,tell us about it and ABR and Kopout...Give "Go" some breathing space please

FOR ALL MY READERS THAT HAVE BEEN THERE AND DONE THAT IN THE SPORTING WORLD. Be it stadiums , meeting up with the stars, autographs. Anything of that nature..
These pics will also be added to a facebook group called BEEN THERE AND DONE THAT BY SWOOSH0018.COM. So first it will be added to the blog ,then with your permission...The facebook group.
And I will protect you from the nasty anonymous comments which is sad to see as the Blog is there to promote and support our people,Yet we still sledge and use anonymous to hide.
Sledge in context of the article...But dont take a persons izzet (dignity) away by posting under anonymous. Please I encourage this. The blog is there for Us.

  2. Anony ..

Kerry Mcgregor ...Eish thats big. What a badaam.

If you know her..tell her to contact us. Then maybe you will buy a cap.

At least you logging on to my site without Kerry Mcgregor as a badaam.

Thanks for the support.I figured if Kerry was on then maybe youd leave a comment. Ay you did leave a comment. Good on ya!

  3. "EL CAMP NOU " , now i understand why the opposition are intimidated when they play there.

    a huge 120 000 seater stadium.well organised tours @ 12 euros (R120).
the tour begins at the dressing rooms. i must admit that the visiting teams dressing rooms are not all good.i expected much more.

then to the tunnel, very steep steps when going on to the field.am sure some players have tripped on these before.

onto the field, greener than green & well mantained.what a sight, i could just imagine what it's like being part of the 120 000 catalan supporters.

there must have been +- 40 individuals in the stadium that are employed to just do the cleaning up.

the tour takes you on 3 levels of the stadium , & i must admit, the view from the vip box is something else.

toilets were an issue, they tell u to go up , then down...& all over the show.was tempted to be a typical south african & do my thing on the field... lol

luckily i found the toilet where the tour ends...in the museum.
they have history since the club began.absolutely amazing.the very first tata box as well.

on your way out of the stadium, they have a megastore which is 2 stories.you'll find anything & everything.

the stadium is surronded by fields in which kids play for the barcelona youth sides, hopefully getting their chance one day at the big time.

    overall, a great experience.

  4. Good one Mr Mtn.... nice pics

Did you watch a game there?

Soccer in Spain is different from England...
I remember the Nou Camp being more of a family outing...
A guy takes his whole family...wife kids and even parents... its a more civilized affair... ppl are friendly... and everyone eats those Panini rolls before the game...
When you walk into the stadium, the size just blows you away.... you wonder how will they fill all those seats before kickoff... lo and behold, it just happens like magic...
The game kicks off, and disappointment sets in.... sellout crowd.... 100 000 plus ppl in a very confined space... but the atmosphere isn’t electric... you expect more from so many fans...
Does the hair on the back of your neck stand up? NO!!!
It was just mediocre… they lack the boisterous drunken voices of the English I guess… lets face it : you only go to a stadium to soak up atmosphere… if you really wanna watch the game, do it on tv. We been spoilt by super slow mo replays, and player close ups… so yeah the Nou camp is a fantastic stadium, but the atmosphere is just so so

Hey mr MTN…. rather tell me about the atmosphere on the la rambla?
Did you try the seafood paella?
and what about the Barcelona beach on a sunny Sunday afternoon???

  6. shakes, no, didnt get a game a the nou camp.was in bercelona only for a day.

barcelona lost to gatafe away on the saturday.
catalunya square & las ramblas is something else. tourist upon tourist.
was fortunate to have a huge lunch at the olympic villiage....& yes, had the seafood paella.what a dish.

was served by our waiter MOHAMMED from BANGLADESH. PAKIS, BANGALIS & INDIAS are in every corner.

i must admit, the catalan chicks are nothing compared to the ITALIAN BABES,with their huge gucci shades.

    "go"

The italian chicks are a dish on their own.

  8. yeah you find pakis india's and bangali's in every corner.

In some places of the world ppl sell "loose" gwaai's. La rambla is the only place where guys walk around with 6 packs selling loose beers.

Hope you bought one of those spraypainted paintings... those guys are a real talent hey?
