PREVIEW-JIHAD ABUS VS ALIS

Ok so we spilt it out yesterday,165 comments of pure hate and bashing. It is a war after all and we all know the relationship. Today we preview the big weekend on a more debatable level hopefully. So guys lets leave some structure.

While all the Euphoria between Liverpool and Man Utd is taking place one cannot forget the clash between Arsenal and Chelsea, both of whom are in the top four. The game for us will be a 6 pointer against the MANCS and if Chelsea and Arsenal draw it would be a great result. As Rash Cassim said, we will be top by January. For an in depth preview I hope Rafa plays with the same team as he did on Tuesday Night.THE SAME ONE.

Jives Bhamgee phoned me in the week, said I wrote Arsenal off twice this year. But the litys I believe will slide if they lose at Chelsea. With Grant offered a new 5 year deal,Loks I think you will have the last laugh if CHELSEA surprise the pundits come end of the year. But for now all eyes are on the Jihad. Kopout sent me a picture of the chilled grape juice he is going to POP on Sunday evening. So please lads lets at the week with some structured comments about tactics, predictions etc.And what about the rumours saying Klinsman is coming to Anfield

I CANT IMAGINE THE BLOG IF WE WIN. THE JOY OF HAMMERING THE MANCS, painted in yellow and red, In the words of Butch Badsha it will be "BETTER THAN BIRYANI ON A SUNDAY"

PREVIEW-LIVERPOOL VS MANCHESTER UNITED

By Ejaz Khan

head to head:league only

At Anfield: Liverpool 35 wins, United 21 wins, 18 draws

Reasons United will be Crapping themselves Pre- Match:

Steven Gerrard has scored in each of his last six games at Anfield. Should he score in this match he will become the first player in Liverpool history to score in seven successive home games. In midweek he became the first player since John Aldridge in 1989 to score in seven consecutive games in all competitions.

Fernando Torres has scored four goals in his last four games.

Ryan Babel has not scored in his last six starts yet his last five goals have come in a total of 142 minutes as a substitute.

The Reds are currently eight points better off than they were at the same stage of last season while United are five points worse off.

Liverpool are outscoring United this season in all competitions. They have netted 56 in 25 games - 13 more than United who have played a game fewer. United have failed to score in only one of their last 14 matches

WEIRD HISTORICAL FACTS

Liverpool's biggest ever win at Anfield in the league was 7-1 in the first meeting between the two sides in October 1895 when United were known as Newton Heath. United's biggest win here was in December 1969 when they recorded a 4-1 victory.

RAFA vs FERGIE

The Brains Department behind the two teams will continue their battle of the wits, and its going to be interesting to see what tactics will be deployed come matchday

GERARD VS RONALDO

Both players picturing what they do best

Both players deemed the most influential players of the two teams, its no ignoring their importance. Expect the two to be at the heart of most attacks and instrumental in finishing off well worked moves as well.

TEVEZ VS TORRES

Both players have come into good form of recent and are definitely going to be causing all sorts of problems to their opposing Keepers. To the Manc supporter who said he wishes that Torres gets injured before the game, sorry to disappoint you. The only thing that is going to be bruised is your ego after the game

CARRA VS RIO

Liverpool will be dreading the site of Ferdinand who seems to have a knack of scoring against Liverpool. Carragher will do his best to take him out early, a two feet in the air to capsize him should to the job

REYNA VS VAN DE SAR

Both keepers will be out to save the day. Only One will emerge with Izzet intact, Only one …

and finally

RAFA VS YANKEE DOODLES

Who’s gonna grab the glory

BELOW is a special message from KOPOUT

  1. lol...swoosh i got a sneeky feeling that come sunday night we (Chelsea) gonna be the ones smiling...

What sort of game you see liverpool playing...ive been reading an intersting article on the sky sports page written by Matt Letissier...he thinks rafa is too cautious at home...i must agree and i cant see past a united win!

    Loks

  2. Fair Enough Loks

While everyone is sharing the limelight Chelsea are quietly doing the business.

I agree with you to a degree. Its simple. The Toppie had to win against Marseille and Porto. They came out blazing. The same has to be done here. That is f#4k the MANCS up as if we had to win the title. The game will be Big NO DOUBT. But at Anfield we have an advantage. I cant imagine the Blog IF WE WIN.PAINTED IN RED AND YELLOW and lambasting the MANCS. LOL

  3. look i think they can beat mufc on sunday as they are on a high, But they dont have the manager or the squad to win the title!

He has to put the same squad out as well. United will create chances and Ronaldo is Key. The lad anderson has been sublime, he has done all the hard work unnoticed. He will carrick or hargreaves will dominate the middle of the park.

the other game must end in a draw.

  9. You know I met tons of Ali's along the way. They reckon that Marseille were horrible. We know any match in Europe away is tough let alone you have to win the game at all costs. To come out blazing and thump Besiktas,Porto and Marseille in a row is a mean feat. My point ,these teams were the best in their respective countries. How can the ALIS say that the teams were shite. Fair Enough we made heavy weather in our first 3 games. But Sunday is a 6 POINTER and will certainly dictate Liverpools destination in the title race. We pull it off Sunday we in the mix. And thats all if Benitez doesnt tinker with the team. Consitancy ......If we hit the streak we there. Torres is class. Theres purpose now as opposed to a month ago when we were in problems

    ReplyDelete
  10. swoosh, the only reason the liverscum thumped besiktas, is cos besiktas players were payed t throw the game. thats why they being investigated

  12. we talking on this post about the game this weekend! we beat and thumped Besiktas,Porto and Marseille its over and most importantly we into the next round so tough luck to those that have issues with how we got there! we defied all odds and proved our point by making the last 16...
these 3 teams made the champions league for a reason! you cannot say they shit...

Well about this weekend... it will be a game about tactics! Just like how we outplayed them last year, we should do the same, ONLY THIS TIME TAKING ALL 3 POINTS!!!
Liverpool have to play Ronaldo out of the game, facts are facts, this lity is in excellent form and Monster MASH would certainly control his play! At the back Hyppia will be tested by SHREK AND TEVES, but his experience will count and he’ll raise to the occasion! Torres can be the difference in these type of games, he can produce things others can't but the Mancs will make it difficult for him which would open up play for others. I gotto a feeling Rafa would play MASH, ALONSO in center and give Gerrard a free role…
    2-1 VICTORY LIVERPOOL

    Torres is better than Crouch.
According to the black guy on Italia 90 (BGOI90 Theory)Crouch is better than Rooney so Torres is better than Rooney

*BGOI90 Theory= Once Bafana played Brazil and lost 2-1. Before that Brazil beat ARGENTINA 2-0,So the presenters Theory was SA better than Argentina

  49. Manchester United assistant boss Carlos Queiroz says he is amazed that Rafa Benitez is under pressure at Liverpool.

United travel to Anfield on Sunday and Benitez faces a crunch meeting with Reds' American owners George Gillett and Tom Hicks later that day.

Benitez recently criticised the club's transfer policy, upsetting Gillett and Hicks and putting his job on the line.

"After everything Rafa has done for Liverpool he doesn't deserve to be under this pressure," Queiroz said.

"I've known him for a long time and he is a great coach and a great man."

Queiroz fears the "continental" penchant for sacking managers without giving them much time is spilling into the Premier League.

But United boss Sir Alex Ferguson's Portuguese assistant has hailed the squad Benitez has built at Anfield, reserving special praise for Spanish striker Fernando Torres.

Torres has scored 12 goals so far this season, while Liverpool are six points behind United with a game in hand.

"I have been in England for five years and I have never seen a Liverpool side looking so strong in the league at this point of the season," said Queiroz.

"Torres is doing really well and I am impressed with him.

"He is already going some way to making the difference for Liverpool this season.

"I think he's a good finisher and he's a player who gives Liverpool something completely different.

"Certainly we will have to be careful of him because he is dangerous. We are always confident in what we can do and we will not worry too much. But we do recognise his quality."

  51. Fergie voices Rafa support
    4thegame.com

Manchester United manager Sir Alex Ferguson says he cannot understand why his Liverpool counterpart Rafael Benitez's future at Anfield has been called into question.

Benitez's tenure with the Reds has run into problems due to a disagreement with club owners George Gillett and Tom Hicks, but Ferguson thinks that the Spaniard's record speaks for itself.

He said: "I can never understand where criticism comes from.

"Rafa has a great record, but all of a sudden you read about a supposed dispute between him and his directors.

"Other people take more of an interest in Liverpool than me, but there is obviously some undercurrent of a dispute running somewhere along the line, which is strange considering his record.

"Rafa won the European Cup after being 3-0 down to AC Milan, which is an amazing feat and there was no disgrace in losing to AC Milan last season.

"I don't know where criticism starts or how it starts in our game, but with Rafa's record, it will be disappointing for him."

If only some of you Mancs could learn to be as mature as Fergie, I'm sure he would be dissapointed if he met reprobates like Kopin.
