BAFANA BAFANA IN GHANA

Good Spirits in the Bafana Camp, And what a belter by Elro van Heerden.

I must admit that when that MANC scored before half time I thought Bafana Bafana's stay in this cup would be shortlived. But credit to them they came out fighting and with purpose. They looked like they wanted to win. I always say If you exit a competition then go down with your heart.

Earlier on I kept phoning Azee and Seth saying that 1.7 million and you lose against early on. Rather my Uncle Baai Gora should have been paid 1.7 million and been in Ghana.

But Pereira seems to have had a successful first game. We still have Senegal and Tunisia in teh group so it will be tough, but rather a point then none at all. But what a Belter, Remember when the comentator said Gerard, WHAT A HIT, WHAT A HIT..........against Olympiakos.
And how was Egypt. Thumping a Cameroon with Samuel Eto 4-2. No wonder the guys selling Abayas were jumping in Fordsburg.

  1. I must admit, bafana played well. they passed the ball well & controlled their possession.

it's a good young side, who i think will fair well in 2010.

the only disappointment is the lack of fire power up front. i think that having benny up front would have been beneficial, as he is experienced.

i think bafana lacked the final finish, but they looking very improved.

  2. It was good watching bafana...I was impressed and inspired by the teams determination to get a result...They played with heart and that counts for alot...On the whole the boys look focused...

I was talking to a guy during the game. he asked me what teh score was.when I told him it was 1-0 to Angola he commented that our team of MUGGS is kak and got no chance..

I was just wondering why we dont support them and at least believe in them....If they lose its fine...but lets back them...It will make a difference..It must??

  3. we must win our remaining fixtures! if we finish top of the group we can avoid playing Egypt in the next round cos they look to be certain winners of Group c!

  4. pereira is no mugg but i got to ? the playing of benson mahlangu at the back and mokoena in the holding midfiled role. he has not tried it in any of his previous games and he springs it in a crucial game. mahlangu had a bit of a shocker and i think he should revert to morris and mokoena at the back. apart from that we deserved something from the game we were controling the game before they scored and we had other cahnces as well. its not all doom as guys like swoosh were predicting.

  5. bafana played well, passing was good at times, but think they lack a solid playmaker and finisher up front.lets hope they carry on playing with the same spirit they showed so that they can earn the support of all of us..think everyone is willing to give them a chance as long as they stop squealing bout money n play football.
