Due to the low,insulting and degrading comments that have been coming in of late, Its time to take the next step. Havent done it before so I figure might as well give it a try.
From Now On, Only registered users will be allowed to post comments. I hope this will lead to structured debate and discussions between the purists.
Anyone that places a comment will need to register first, Just follow the instructions.
I hope this will eliminate all the personal attacks and immature comments.
I have also integrated sitemeter with blogger. These are in depth statistics, tracks IP addresses and locations of every person that hits the site. We had hits from Norway, Dubai and Swaziland (he he) today.
So its a step up to ensure these measure. We rather have a few intellegent comments than 30 comments about ....well you know what.
Sorry for the Inconvenience, But when personal attacks on family, kids and private lives become evident, Its time to take this measure.
There is obviously loopholes, But any user thats out of line will be reported or their comments simply not Published

ReplyDeleteSitemeter is good but do note it does not mean a oke is from Dubai.. It picks up on the HOST SERVER which might be located there..
Freedom of speech should be allowed HOWEVER not at the expense of personally attacking someone in particular..
