I watched this game. I was saying to myself, F#4ken Derby and these Mancs are 0-0. Jihad Abus vs Alis this weekend as well. But Ronaldo spoiled my Saturday. Hey lets be honest, We all expected them to win here. The lity had to make ammends, He missed plenty. Derby had some good chances too in the second half. And now the Mancs go top as Arsenal F#4k up again
1-0 Down and we managed to secure 3 vital points, particularly with Everton losing. I spoke to alot of the lads about the draw against Arsenal. In fact I met Rashid Cassim on Friday night. He didnt look preturbed. Majority of the lads said that last year Arsenal did the treble on us, This year We will do the treble on them, As we play them three times in two weeks or something like that. but great to get three points.
Again Arsenal f#4ked it up and allowed the Mancs to get ahead. I said it before that the litys dont have what i takes. Although from the bottom of my heart I hope they get it together and dethrone the MANCS
Chelski are quietly making their presence known...I cant wait for the next months..A three horse race the way I look it. Come on Chel$ki, Come On. Good to see Jhon Terry on the scoresheet as well
SERIE A ROUND UP
Roma came from behind to beat Milan. Very unlikely of Milan to give away a lead. But Roma are now 6 points behind Inter. I hope Roma win the scudetto. Fiorentina also won. Luckily Ijaquinta salvaged three points for Juve in the 87th minute and that just makes the cause worse for Milan.
Roma for the double....................
LA LIGA.
Miserable weekend for both Real and Barcelona, But Real still in the comfort zone. Rijkaard and Shuster should be on their way out. Thats the price in Spain...No Margin for error. You have to be perfect
BUNDESLIGA
For Takilla. Bayern is obviously missed in the Champions League and players like Toni and Ribery are having blinders. Big news here is that Bremen lost. But will be great to have Bayern in the Champions League next year. Also I ANTICIPATE that Bayern are favourites to net the UEFA Cup as well
Finally - The greatest European football nation gets some recognition..
ReplyDeleteAnd i dont mean their league, i meant the nation..
Bayern will be welcomed with much anticipation next season in the Champ League and i'll be highly disappointed if they dont lift the Uefa Cup..
Good weekend for the boys. Seth and I were sitting at Ellispark and in sacraat when the score was 0-0. Well done to Foster & Ronaldo for saving our a$$. Looking forward to going 3 points clear on Wed. Chelski are in very good form slowly sneaking up on the top 2. If they win on Wed they will have the same points as Arsnel.
ReplyDeleteAnother good weekend with the Gunners failing to win again. Still
ReplyDeleteas I said when Arsenal went 5 clear theres still a long way before anything is settled. We will have to wait and see.
Milan are in free fall at the moment. Another dent to our Champs League ambitions. The end of the season can't come sooner.
Hey Swoosh I see the blog is gone quiet now since you changed the posting rules. Maybe it is for the better.
Shakes
Had to Shakes....
ReplyDeleteRather have a few comments thats structure then personal atacks etc...
I was happy this weekend that Milan lost for Juves sake. But sad to see Milan in this shape shakes...
I was just speaking to Doola Akals about the Milan under Capello..The best back four ever he says...Costacuta, Maldini, Baresi and I think Tasotti. He also couldnt believe Milan
No Capellos reign.. I think this was the back 4 under Arrigo Sacchi's reign..
ReplyDeleteDonadoni, Rijkaard, Gullit, Massaro, Van basten, Albetini, Simone..
Some of the few i remember..
Nah Swoosh is right. it was Tassotti, Baresi, Costacurta and Maldini. It was the back four built by Sacchi just before he took over the Azzuri. Capello inherited these players but they were awesome, with Rijkaard anchoring that midfield and Gullit the creative force. And Albertini was top class. Also the most expensive signing at that time Gianluigi Lentini and the greatest striker of his generation Van Basten.
ReplyDeleteWe have a midfield anchor and creative spark now, in Gattuso and Kaka but with only Maldini and Nesta as notable defenders and 2 second grade keepers and no world class striker we have a long way to go. Pato is young and can't shoulder the responsibility the likes of van Basten, Weah and Sheva did. Change is a must for the new season.
