Alfa 8C Spider
One of the most eagerly anticipated sports cars will debut at the Geneva motor: The Alfa 8C Spider. An exceptionally beautiful car. If you attended MPH 2008 Clarkson managed to smuggle in one of the Competizione concept models for the show - stunning in red. Italian style amplified with a hint of Imola. The Ferrari built 4.7 litre V8 engine wharfs out 335Kw channeled to the rear wheels by an F1 style 6 speed flappy pedal gearbox.. The Spider exudes classy lines & a purposeful presence. It will be built in a limited edition of just 500 like its predecessor the Competizione. If sentiment is anything to go by, as most 147 drivers will tell you , the gearbox will probably pack in after the motor plan. Hopefully the reliability is as good as the style.
John Cooper Works Mini
Now these little buggers are getting really quick. Has a knack of being imaged as more of a badaams cab but the limited edition JCW edition adds a bit of testosterone. Recent Mini’s have been built with turbo’s instead of superchargers & this reworked JCW edition come with a sports exhaust, JCW drop kit & sport suspension. A set of 17’s & modified 6 speed manual tranny to confidently hold all of that 160Kw completes the package. Pretty quick in a straight line blitzing to 100Km/h in just 6.5s – Finally these little bug eye’s are starting to look a bit brutal. Nice floppin wheel, Ready for the track!!

The Worlds first diesel commercial supercar, Audi have finally cracked diesel performance since winning the Le Mans 24Hour twice with the R10 model. The design of this innovative alternative supercar embodies class & credible performance. Capable of reaching 300Km/h & sprinting to 100Km/h in just about 4s is pretty damn impressive for a diesel offering. You will be left in awe with the design cues of the R8 model if ever it occupied the road next to you. It exudes Italian style & I wouldn’t be surprised if they used one of their Lamborghini studios to create this sweet piece of engineering.

Sent in by a couple of okes & worth a look. Cracks out 365Kw & weighs in at a meager 1100Kg that’s right pure race breed. This model will be racing in the American Le Mans series. The motor has been reworked with forged pistons & conrods – managed by BMW Motorsport 408 ecu (chip). Wider wheel arches & Carbon reinforced plastic panels complete the light weight race package.
