Whilst we watching the ball at Nescafe, The Mancs are always lambasting, They say first you guys blame Pokemon (Benitez assiatant) for leaving, Then you guys blame rotation, then Kuyt and Risse , then the Americans. But what these f#4kers are doing is plain darn wrong. I mean how can you go behind his back and speak to Klinsman. Its not Klinsman, Even if they went to Uncle Bai Gora behind Rafas back its F#4ken wrong. You dont do that to a man, especiall when you in the semi finals of Europe. How does Rafa feel. This new incident may pave the way for Rafas exit.
I want to ask the owes, even the Kop owes, their views on this. Is Rafa right to leave, I mean it was unethical. Should teh Americans F#4k off. Do we need a new coach like Klinsman. Is the premiership important in Liverpools managerial agenda. Are we satisfied with the season?
from being a powerhouse in european football and dominating the league in the 70,80's we are now way of the pace in terms of quality leadership, revenue, stadium. I think that the people at the top of this football club have made a huge amount of mistakes.. It's been a series of events that have marked the decline of the club..the shock resignation of Kenny Dalglish, the appointment of souness, the joint partnership of houllier and evans...misplaced spending... smicer, biscan, diaou, meyer, dundee, diouf , the list is endless..since the days of paisley, shanks, fagan and dalglish we have never had a quality manager..money has also been a massive factor. besides having managers who can't cut it, most of them have had to contend with a fairly modest budget compared to the amounts of money that united and chelsea have had at their disposal..this is in no way a excuse..when funds have become available they have also been wasted on shite like diouf and heskey...coupled with the fact that united were producing class youngsters like giggs, scholes, beckham, butt, nevilles, sharpe..we had very few decent younsters making the grade..we had some talented youngsters in the same era but no real leader to guide these lighties...
ReplyDeleteThen we head on to mr parry..the most annoying and incompetent fool of all..never making funds available for the right signings, causing us to always settle for 2nd best..roy evans wanted to sign teddy sheringham at the time and was given the no go because liverpool had a age restriction on the players that they could sign..we all know what teddy did at united. then comes the sale to the fat texan baboon and his sidekick..we will never know why he did not sell to DIC..they were prepared to settle all debts and completely finance the stadium without a single loan..yet they chose the americans who will finance the complete deal through some or other institution..the interest alone will be 90% of our profits after tax
as for this season..i think that we can take alot of heart from players like Stevie and nando..players like arbeloa, aurelio, skrtel have been impressive..the problem is while we have improved, united have notched it up another gear..as much as i hate to say it, they look unbeatable at times. so for now i still can't see us winning the league..having said that i still think that Rafa is the man to lead us, but i don't think that will be the case if the club does not sort out it's shit
Memz
Great point Mams..Fair enough the MANCS are always lambasting us and saying In Rafa we trust. But from a Liverpool perspective heres my analysis
ReplyDeleteTake yourself in the work or family environment. If theres problems at home or at work it affects the whole chain. How can you get up and go to work when there is problems.
These Yanks are unsettling Anfield. Logic states that if you a manager and things are happening behind your back in a nasty vindictive way it affects the finl result.
Bottom Line is that they putting finger in the class of people putting finger in peoples marriages.Look at the end result.same thing, a bit of a crude comaprison though
I remember Phil Thompson once saying that when the team bus used to pass the gates of Anfield, Players put on that shirt with pride and honour. Liverpool is about honour. You and all the guys know what honour we had in the 80's.
Just a few days ago I spoke to a lad thats cousin was at Anfield vs the MANCS in an FA CUP GAME. He said the Kop is the most riviting and pulsating place to witness as a football fan, Rash Cassim and Cisse spoke about the atmosphere in Istanbul....Electric..
Zee Mayet & Baboo Wadee can back me up,Theve been there, felt the veins.
It was about Honour
No doubt about it,Souness F!!ked Liverpool up, Paul Stewart, Torben Piechniek whom Swoosh always slates. From then till now, We are a shadow of what we once were.
ReplyDeleteGhassen Kop
no matter what the state of this football club we undoubtably have the most passionate fans on the planet..the only clubs that rival us in terms of atmosphere are the turkish teams(fernabache are awesome), the KOP is a institution in world football..ask any of our european counterparts..we alse have a fantastic relationship with oppposing fans ouside of England..when we beat barca last year they sang " you'll never walk alone" and chanted "liverpool" while the KOP chanted BARCA..the KOP applauds every apposing keeper at the KOP end..even the mancs...real betis fans on their official website rated anfield as the best atmosphere that they have ever been to...even after we lost to benfica the entire staduim chanted benfica and applauded them..no bitterness..just respect(u will not see that anywhere else)..after we lost 3-0 to united the fans were kept in the ground and never stopped singing till they were let out..they were bouncing in the stands at old toilet..there is no doubt in the world we have the best atmosphere..we just need players that have the same passion :-)
ReplyDeleteI have had the opprtunity to visit Anfield..simply mind blowing.

its fuck*n 19 years since you won a league! stop supporting rafa, yeh in europe he is good, but what any scouser wants is the league title! in his 4 years he has not shown any improvement in the league. always either 3rd or 4th? is that good enough for a so called european power house? the gap between the top three and the scouse scum is huge, you can sse it the points they behind them! he has bought shit, there is no method in his purchases, apart from torres. he plays too defensively, in games with the bottom clubs he still will play mascherano with alonso, both sitting deep and holding, you wont score goals you wont win titles like that.
ReplyDeletekeep on trusting rafa and you will surpass the 26 years the mancs had to wait!
drogba
I agree with the DROG on this one.. We want the premiership and i doubt RAFA has it in him to deliver it.. I was PRO-KLINSMANN when the rumours emerged and will be PRO whoever come the SUMMER.. I think even if RAFA brings home the CHAMP LEAGUE.. The Americans will drive him away with all their bullshit..
ReplyDeleteIf RAFA stays the Amerian Madders must sell to DIC or anyone else..
The timing of all these stories however is at a crucial stage in the campaign and hopefully it wont affect the players..
YNWA
Good points from all the Okes.
ReplyDeleteThe thing is, its really a catch 22
If Rafa goes, whoever comes in will have to start from scratch, probably bring in his own players, and then we back to the starting block in terms of building a team that could win or atleast challenge for EPL title.
On the other Hand, if Rafa stays, will he be able to alter his methods in the EPL, because while Rotation may keep players fresh when it comes to the end of the season, but by then you are out of almost every chance of silverware available, and you playing catch up.Thats been our way for the last 4 years or so.
Next year is the 5th year of Rafa's 5year plan for Liverpool.
Also,If Rafa stays we have a good chance of landing David Villa!
And one thing is for sure -In Europe, Rafa is just class

Looking at the news today and being an outsider to the club I must say the fiasco that surrounds Liverfool FC is funny.
ReplyDeleteNow Hicks and Parry attacking each other through the media. Not even Chelsea had this sort of public spat between Roman and Jose.
It must be frustrating for you fools and it doesn't leave a good impression of how the club is being run.
As for players only signing for the club because of the manager being there, that on the whole is the problem with the club. You sign players who want to play for the CLUB, not the manager. Swoosh I read your Phil Neal quote about wearing the shirt with pride, that comes when you have players who are proud to play for the club and won't jump ship if the manager departs.
My take on these type of players is sell them, no matter how talented because they must have the passion to play for the club.
On a whole it's a big mess at Anfield and there looks like there is no way forward for now. If I were Rafa I would resign as soon as the season is over. You can't work at a club where there is no stability.
Personally though I hope he stays, as there are rumours that Madrid want him and that would kill Madrid even more.
Shakes
Yes we in turmoil.
ReplyDeleteParry is to blame in this whole fiasco cos he brought these YANKS in the first place!
His gotto go at some time, maybe now! Hicks the blady fat prick doesn’t care a damn about Liverpool his just there to make money and plung us into more financial turmoil. All this after a great week of football and at an important stage of a champions league semi final!
Yes and Proudly in RAFA WE TRUST!
What Rafa has achieved makes him admirable! Swoosh ask all those that say in Rafa we trust, how long did they wait? Ask them other the Jose Moans who was bank rolled how long did there managers take to land them the title?
Rafa has the players commitment, His holding the team together at the moment during all this turmoil. If we beat Chelsea amid all this shit, he'll be a Legend!
Like i said keep on trusting in rafa and 19 will become 20 and then 21 etc. i am sure the mancs will luv for him to stay as the longer he stays the less chance of the scouse winning the league.
ReplyDeleteshakes you right, guys have to be passionate about the club, and the manager is important but the club is 1st. the longer the shit goes on the more reluctant big name players will want to come to the scum, dic may also lose interest and look elsewhere like the Thai dood did and went to man city to invest. its a vicious circle!
