Congratulations to Robert Kubica on his maiden victory at the Canadian Grand Prix and to BMW Sauber for a much-deserved one-two. It’s great to see another team challenge the dominance of Ferrari and McLaren. The drivers’ championship is wide open with Kubica leading after Lewis Hamilton’s unbelievable shunt into the back of Kimi Raikkonen in the pit lane. This also puts Felipe Massa back in the frame and just 7 points separate the top 4 drivers. David Coulthard was back on the podium as Red Bull continued their fine run of form and they lead the middle tier of the constructors’ championship.
Looking ahead to the next race, Magny-Cours is a circuit that Ferrari have won at in 5 of the last 7 years. They will be eyeing a return to winning ways and for Kimi in particular to gain some ground on his rivals. http://www.5fmdreamteams.co.za
