SEMI FINAL SECOND LEG-POOR CHELSEA

One has to say that Michael Essien has changed Chelseas season around and it was fitting that he scored an absolute rasper to give Chelsea the lead at home. A stunning strike. Then there was the penalty decision whether or not Malouda was brought down inside or outside the box.

But honestly Chelsea had the better chances of the game.Barca were dormant and so was Messi.

Many pundits are blaming the Norwegian ref and that Chelsea stole but you gotta sure up a game ,especially when you 11 against ten. Speaking about the referee he was shocking in sending of Abidal.I mean there was no contact whatsoever. Anelka tripped. I thought that Danny Alves was terrible. He was doing the same thing the whole night, running down the flank and crossing poorly. Barca also missed Ti Ti Henry I think. And in the end one pass from Messi, poor clearance by Essien and Iniesta STOLE at the death, call it theft, call it luck, but John Terry was down to tears again.I hope UEFA Punish Ballack and Drogba for those outbursts. RIDICULOUS man. Drogba was carrying on like a raving Lunatic.

And so its the dream final now and a contest between the two Best players in the World,Ronaldo vs Messi

Mohamed from Newcastle.Dejected and devastated.I felt for this lad, when they scored at the death

A gutted Faaiz Oz & delighted MANCS Hazrat,Mamoo & Seth

These ba#$#ds wont be smiling like this against Barcelona

Faaiz Oz after Penaltinho scored-Man was gutted

Finally a delighted Mamoo after the game

Well Penaltinho came big yesterday ABR. What a free kick. The game was buried Faaiz Oz was f#4ken gutted. I told him the lities are just not good enough. The first goal was crucial, a Gibbs slip and Park finished with ease. And when the second came it was curtians for the gunners, Faaiz Oz, Jive, Zam Ram, You Arsenal Muggs failed to produce the goods. There was nothing, no breathtaking Arsenal Football,Nothing.

The Penaltino strike was struck with venom ,but as Moe Cassim said, Aluminia, you cant be beaten at your near post from that distance. The third MANC goal was classy, great build up and PENALTINHO again.

So the MANCS are off to Rome. Will it be Barcelona or Chelsea.?

And to the Arsenal owes...You okes were a f#4ken disappointment!

  8. Onward to Rome. That boy Ronaldo came good once again and i don't see why he can't retain the World Player of the Year. Man U look to be getting back into form at the right time after a slight slump.

We one step away from a remarkable achievement of retaining the ECL crown.

Now back to the basics and hopefully we can secure the League Title before our showdown in Rome. 7 points needed to prevent Liverpool from winning anything in what many KOP faithful claim to be their best season in years.

too bad that it came against a poor Arsenal side

it wasnt such a great freekick.... to get beaten on your near post is criminal.

How was the theatrics to actually get that free kick???

    The man shut you up!

Now you say it's a poor Arsenal side, he scored a cracker against Porto and did what he had to, was Porto also poor?

He got the freekick and scored - job done!

Go eat your humble cock and watch how he brings the CL back to OT!

  14. "The past 12 months has seen Ronaldo score in every round of the knock-out stages of the Champions League."

What do you say to that ABR - he finally had a big game, so i guess you weren't watching CL football for the last year?

  18. The ticket apps are in and the flights are booked ... WE'RE GOING TO ROME AND THAT'S A FACT !!!
Ronaldo definitely redeemed himself last night and Pak played his heart out. Rooney was his usual never-say-die self and the only bad news comes in the form of Fletch being unfairly ruled out of the final. I'm sure Reds all over feel gutted for ol' Tartanballs - hopefully UEFA will let sense prevail and make a decision to allow Tartanballs to feature in the final.
Otherwise, it's a good day to be in Fergies army as we go MARCHING ON, ON, ON !!!

  19. Nairobi - An Arsenal fan in football-mad Kenya hung himself following his team's 4-1 aggregate drubbing by arch-rivals Manchester United in the Champions League semi-final, police said on Wednesday.

Suleiman Alphonso Omondi, a 29-year-old Kenyan living in the capital Nairobi's Embakasi neighbourhood, hung himself in his Arsenal shirt late Tuesday after the match, police said.

"We were watching the match at Bamba 70 pub, and when Arsenal was defeated, Suleiman just walked out in protest and he was crying," Calvin Otieno, one of his friends, said.

"We didn't know he was going to hang himself until Wednesday morning when we received the reports and came here to find his body at the balcony," Otieno said outside the deceased's home.

Arsenal slumped to a 3-1 defeat at home in the second leg of the Champions League semi-final, capping a disappointing season for the Gunners who were already out of the Premier League title race early in the season.

Football-related domestic tragedies are frequent in the region, where English clubs enjoy passionate following and European games draw more attention than national and continental games.

  20. Come on Shoobs and the lads. You can do without Fletcher, Fergusons Son.In a way its a pity. Would have been keen to see Messi,Xavi,Eto, Ti Ti bring him down to size. But hey lemme not put the curse of Swoosh and Barcelona go get dumped out

  26. Shame, poor chelsea. They got Robbed. No question. Pique's def handled the ball. As for the others, 50/50. Could it be that Drogba's diving made the ref decide against giving all those penalty appeals. Either way they acted like a bunch of indians playing WFA at block park, if not worst. Thats no way to react.

On a better note, we in for a final made in heaven. The best two club sides in the world going head to head. The best two players in the world going head to head.... we in for a mouth watering clash of titans! UNITED ALL THE WAY

  27. THEFT! THAT WAS STEALING!

DROG HAD LEGITIMATE RIGHT TO ATTACK THE REF HE WAS ATROCIOUS! WE WERE ROBBED!

WE HAD THEM SHUT FOR OVER 180 MINUTES! THEY CAN SCORE THREE GOALS A GAME IN THAT SHIT LA LIGA, BUT PREMIERSHIP TEAMS ARE FAR MORE RESILIENT!
CHELSEA RULE, SWOOSH NOW U CAN SAY THEY WENT OUT WOTH DIGNITY!

  29. Drogba do u even know what dignity means. there was no dignity in the Chelsea reaction last night. Fair enough the ref was poor, but for professional footballers to react that way is a disgrace.

Both Ballack and Drogba should get a 3 game ban.

  30. one can understand the frustration of the chelsea players & camp. it is heartbreaking & frustrating when you know you should hav gone through only to be denied by unprofessional refreeing decisions.

never the less, it was a crap game. barcelona were not impressive at all.

like i always say, the english league rules.
barcelona out with key defensive players for the final.

messi showed glimpses of his brilliance, but he was in no way a great threat. iniesta was class on the night.

i think united can do the business against them in 3 weeks time.

    "go" cmon you red devils

    biggy,
u try controling urself after u were clearly robbed, ballack may never get another chance after three final defeats, he is well into his 30's now, even the others it may take years before they get another chance. how the fuck are suposed to control ur self?

  34. Even with a "who know's what defence come 27th May" judge us on our whole season not on two games (United didnt look great against Liverpool in the 4-0 nor Porto in the QF first leg). Hopefully we can redeem ourselves in the final, grateful for the chance. Barcafan

  35. Finally back. The United performance on Tuesday was brilliant. Arsenal looked lost for most of the game and only came to life after the 3rd goal was scored.

I must admit I was left diappointed after the game though. I mean after 11 minutes I was waiting in anticipation for the 4 Arsenal goals that were supposed to follow in the remaining 79 minutes or so. Then it got even more exciting, with 30 minutes left Arsenal were gonna score 5. But the game ended and they managed only one. So much for the Liverfool fans promises. I was reminded before the game that Arsenal were gonna spoil our season by a Liverpudlian, and so I was expecting a thriller after 11 minutes.

Seriously though it was two fantastic performances from the lads against a resurgent gunners side. To put Tuesdays performance into perspective, the gunners hadn't conceded a goal in the Champions league at the Emirates until Tuesday.

As for Chelsea, hard luck. Loks you guys were almost there again. Can't comment on the game though, never watched it.
