WHATS UP WITH PENALTINO

This weekend was a typical start to Winter. But a feast of Sport was on the box, So I chilled at home and chilled it out. Never felt like leaving Lenz,Ay once you staying in Town the journey to Lenz and back becomes a logistical mission. Yet I wonder how we did it all those years.

Anyway straight to the point. There were some Big games this weekend. Firstly Liverpool thumping three past a shabby West Ham. Liverpool did what they had to do. Led by their inspirational skipper Gerard Liverpool did what they had to do really. And they did it emphatically. It may be a little too late but THE MANCHESTER DERBY WAS ON SUNDAY. So most of the lads were optimistic at Akhalways Extension 5 on Saturday Night. Guys were still buzzing and asking me about the suit and who's doing the alterations etc.

Then came the DERBY. And courtesy of a deflection the MANCS took the lead through Penaltinho. The arrogant lity seems to be proving ABR wrong. Tevez again was outstanding and gave the MANCS a 2-0 lead. My toppie a MANC was on his edge believe it or not. I reckon Why you stressing Daddy. The MUGGS are 2-0 up. He was worried how City was pressing especially when Robinho missed a guilt edged chance. Then SIR Alex pulled off Penaltinho. I thought OK,good move, the Timer can rest him and they are 2-0 up. But I was shocked to see the litys arrogance and dismay of being substituted. It was shocking the way he carried on. Will the MANCS oestards (teachers) on this blog please comment about the Litys behaviour. I want to hear this. Even his walk to the tunnel showed his body language. And we all know Sir Alex. Nobody is bigger than the club, Keane and Becks can vouge for this. Could this spat be the end to his Old Trafford career with Madrid beckoning

Also My agreement with Hazrat and Herbly was to give them free reign on the blog for the week should United WIN THE LEAGUE. So if the MANCS win they control the week and content on the Blog.

As for Arsenal, I smsed Faaiz Oz, and told him about his stinkers. Arsenal were gunned down by Chelsea. The pain of Europe was unleashed today and Chelsea are cementing third spot. Good display by the blues. And watch Arsenal they will fail us Liverpool owes against Man Utd. They only did it to Liverpool.

In LA LIGA Barcelona could have wrapped it up at a packed Nou Camp. The stage was set but they conceded in the 92 minute. So they will have to wait

In Serie A, Inter look set after Juve and Milan drew. All square there Shakers. Many pundits were predicting the end of Ranieri which I think is a good thing. But 1-1 it finished. Seedorf put Milan ahead only for Iquainta to muscle his way past Flamini and equalise. Del came on late but it finished all even. Good individual performances by Beckham,Chilieni, Maldini,Inzaghi and Camoronesi. Juve are now under pressure to cement third with Fiorentina hot on their heels.

In local Ball, Supersport United clinch the title with a draw. Many Pirates fans were gutted. But well done to Supersport united.A draw was enough to see the clinch the title.

THE IPL continues to be fun and enjoyable. The Delhi Dare Devils and Rajestan Royals are firm favourites. And poor Sharuks Knight Riders, they are poor.

Formula One leader Jenson Button banked his fourth victory in five races in Barcelona on Sunday after a Spanish Grand Prix strategy switch that stunned his downcast Brawn GP team mate Rubens Barrichello.
"I feel like I'm on top of the world at the moment," said Button, now 14 points clear of the Brazilian in the championship.
For the ninth year in a row, victory at the Circuit de Catalunya went to the driver on pole position with the Briton taking the chequered flag 13.0 seconds ahead of Barrichello for Brawn's second one-two of the season.
The Brazilian had seized the lead at the start and was dreaming of his first win since 2004 when the Mercedes-powered team switched Button from a three-stop strategy to what turned out to be a quicker two stops.
Barrichello, who stayed on three stops, looked like his world had been shattered.
"I can't believe how I lost that," the 36-year-old said, adding that he wanted to know why the team had made the sudden decision to change the strategy while keeping him on three stops.
"I'm disappointed I haven't won the race because I thought I had it in the bag today."
Button commiserated and said he had not requested the change while team owner Ross Brawn ruled out any favouritism.
"I think you saw at the first corner there are no team orders," he told reporters.

  1. we know he has the skill... so ill let biggy and "go" defend ronaldo's izzat....

if you thought chelsea were carrying on like lighties after their champions league exit, how pathetic was Ronaldo's attitude after that substitution

  3. Sorry for you ABR!

The toppy has defended Ronaldo himself so there's no need for any Manc to defend him!

Don't be a doos all your life how can youn compare the Chelski reaction to the kid. Ballack and the Drog were going to murder the ref. The kid was just disappointed at being subbed. He's a winner so he wants to win every game! Go watch "The Replacements" and see Gene Hackman's comments to Keanu Reeves - "Winners Want the BALL!"

  5. ABR, as long as Ronaldo is wearing a UTD shirt i will defend him. After all his done for UTD in the last few seasons he deserves it. I'm not gonna jump on the bandwagon and slate him. All he wanted to do was play football. Fair enough its not the reaction you'd want from a player when the manager calls you off, but thats why his the best. He has that arrogance about him. Something which makes him the player he is.

As for the title race, credit must be given to Liverpool for keeping their title hopes alive. They have done everything possible recently, but haven't Man U reacted even better and stronger?

  6. abr , go climb back in your hole.

rooney did the same thin a couple of seasons ago, & just look at how he has matured.
ronaldo will mature as each day passes & when he has reached that stage, then we will see thr true ronaldo.

look at rooney, he is getting better & better.

fergie knows what he is doing, & if fergie was not happy with him he wudv benched him or sent him packing.

maybe fergie will send ronaldo off & take the funds to keep tevez ?

"go" a player is only as good as the players that surrond him

  7. Eish wat a kak weekend. First the water got cut off, then no electricity on sunday and then a walima at nite. I missed all the soccer.

I can't defend or slate Ronaldo, didn't watch the game. All I can say is he is young so the reaction is explainable, he is arrogant no doubt but as he has proved many times this season also very immature. He should have reacted more professionally and accepted the coach's decision.

True Biggy, the reaction of the lads has been magnificent. Not just in the Prem but what a reaction in the champs league after that 2-2 draw against Porto at Trafford. We were written off even before Fergie named his team for the away leg.

Swoosh all square between Milan and Juve, but the most frustrating thing is that Inter dropped points and we could have closed the gap to 5 points. Who knows maybe Inter could drop more points, but we are fast running out of time.

  8. Ronaldo isn't the first player to vent after being substituted and certainly won't be the last. Comparing his reaction to Drog's post match episode last week is completely off the mark...
I think the talking point of this match shouldn't be Ronaldo's substitution, rather United's performance. It's clear to see why United have been as successful as they have been so far ... the work ethic of the squad.
Watching them this weekend, they were by no means on their "A" game, but still came thru with the 3 points and this is thanks to the work put in by the squad ... even Berbatov was running his ar$e off.
4 points needed from 3 games and we've got number 18. GO ON YOU REDS !!!

  23. Swoosh, the reason why arsenal will only stop liverdrols run and not United's is that NOBODY except 100 000 stupid liverdrol supporters like the liverdrols. The gunners rather have Mancs win the league than the undeserved liverdrols who score opportunistic goals. Don't worry, third season without a trophy now coz liverdrols are shite and that's the bottom line.

As for Ronaldo, as long as he is a Manc we will support him and the club, same goes for the other players. We don't support individuals, it's a team effort.

Hope you understand swoosh coz you sound confused in the introduction of this post.
