LEGENDS THAT SHOOK THE BLOG
PAUL GASCOIGNE-THE BOY THAT BECAME A MAN
The biggest footballing icon in England before David Beckham. Gazza was indeed a cut above the rest. I was on a flight to Heathrow during Euro 96. I remember the plane anouncing the score and talking about Gaza's wonder goal in Englands 2-0 victory over Scotland. Later on all the Englishman were sporting that peroxide look. How can we not forget his famous burst into tears when yellow carded against Germany in Italia 90. I still remember Lineker gesturing to the English Bench that Gaza has broken down. His emotional outburst when Hoddle deemed him to pudgy and fat and left him out of the English Squad to France 98. Yes the lad was skillfull and I know there will be some owes that will lambast me in saying the man does not deserve to be a legend on the Blog. Some will say he was a footballer from the scum. Yet some will remember him for the injury he suffered in the FA Cup against Notts Forest. I mean for f$%ks sake even our owes (Bafana) have a piece of Gaza History. LEENDAH MARCEDEEZ BENZ BUTHELEZI took Gaza Out. Trust our owes. Look no one told Gaza that the old 230 E's bafana bafana spec Mercs were strong. However Gaza gets my vote as a LEGEND THAT SHOOK THE BLOG
