Crouch has been in the class of Maniche,Always present in the big occassions,And he scored Crackerscthis season. The punisher has sparked of this question. Look I am not saying whos better Im just saying your owes views.
Maybe its just Rooneys broken leg that has not healed. We had this debate in the beginning of the season. Now its almost the end so lets see if anything differs

OK guys I had to add another discussion s well Platini has succeeded Johansen as UEFA President. Look the man was a class footballer. But he needs to dress like a Uefa President now and not like a Safloh. Anyways Platini the MUGG now wants to take only three teams per League. Whats your owes views on this. Is the man Worthy of the Job. Do we need these changes in Football. I prefer 4 teams honesly..

For the current season this a tough call.
ReplyDeleteThey both have scored goals, seem to have done well for their respective teams and are both ugly.
So how do we pick a winner ?
Let us use the fantasy league stats.
Rooney has scored 10 goals to Crouch's 8. But Rooney has played 1937 minutes compared to Crouch's 1144. Rooney's goal ratio is one every 193.7 minutes while Crouch's is 190.7.
Rooney has 4 yellow cards compared to Crouch's 2.
Rooney costs 11.9 compared to Crouch 8.5.
Therefore Crouch is better than Rooney.
Zamram/swoosh - How can we debate this. IF Rafa doesn't pick Crouch, it probably means that he has better players that can fill the slot. Rooney gets gametime because he deserves it. NO debate. Rooney is by far better than Crouch. Lets look at it from a national squad point of view. Do you see Rooney getting benched in the England squad or does the gangly bafoon keep the bench warm?

They both good strikers. Both scoring goals. However Rooney's pressence alone is worth more then crouch could ever offer. Rooney also gets involved in creating goals for his team mates. True that a strikers task is to score goals, but play for the team as well. My vote would be Rooney. Before you liverpool muggs answer this question, ask yourself this: Would you sell crouch for rooney??? I think any manager would!!! Remember England played a semi fit Rooney rather then a fully fit Crouch. Swoosh next time choose a topic thats worthy of a good debate! Rooney wins this one hands down.

Rooney cost around 29 million while Crouch around 7 million. That makes Rooney around 4 times the price of Crouch !!!
Rooney is a good player, but price wise he is not value for money. He is young and under Ferguson he will have a bright future ahead but his temper and aggression count against him. His disrespect of referees still shows he still needs to grow up.
For the price bracket that he is in would you rather have Rooney or Thierry Henry?
