BLATTERS "SLAVERY" COMMENTS

Blatter Blasts United For Enslaving Ronaldo
FIFA president Sepp Blatter has blasted Manchester United’s treatment of wantaway winger Cristiano Ronaldo, accusing them of practicing ‘modern slavery’…

The Ronaldo saga has already dragged on for months, with so many twists and twists along the way that it is hard to tell who wants what at this stage.Real Madrid have been alternately forthright and coy in their pursuit of the Portuguese superstar, while the player himself has declared he wants to leave Old Trafford although has lately seemed more disposed to stay.United are determined to hold onto the 23-year-old, having rebuffed los Merengues ₤70million bid and threatened to banish the reigning PFA Player of the Year to the reserves for his lack of loyalty.Blatter’s believes the Red Devils’ handling of the situation has been reprehensible, insisting no player should be forced to endure such conditions.Slavery“In football there’s too much modern slavery,” the FIFA president said on Sky News. “I’m always in favour of protecting the player. “If he wants to leave, let him. If Ronaldo stays at a club where he does not feel comfortable to play then it’s not good for him or the club. “The important thing is that we should also protect the player. And if they want to play somewhere else, then a solution should be found.”New Bosman?United’s threat of freezing Ronaldo out of the senior squad bears resemblance to the events which led to the advent of free transfers, when Belgian player Jean-Marc Bosman succeed in his lawsuit against RFC Liege for restraint of trade. And Blatter revealed that FIFA could take measures to counteract this new perceived impedance of players’ rights.“There is this slavery in transferring or buying players here and there — and putting them somewhere,” he said. “We’re trying now to intervene in such cases. “The reaction to the Bosman law was to make long-lasting contracts, in order to keep the players. Then, if he wants to leave, there is only one solution — he has to pay his contract.”
Mike Maguire-goal.com

Alot of the media have been saying that Blatter is talking shite. And he is running his mouth again. How was Blatters article in the Star yesterday saying that barring a NATURAL DISASTER In SA there will be three countries on Standby to host 2010 within a year. PE stadium didnt make it dor the Confeds Cup. So what is a natural disaster. Is it POLITICAL UNREST, POWER CUTS & CRIME.
Anyway we are all optimists. WOZA 2010 WOZA Here we come.

Regarding the Ronaldo saga, Maybe there is an element of sense in there. If the lity wants to go, Let him f#4k off. Im sure most of the MANCS agree on this? Or is it all about honour and not the money

CHANGING THE NAME OF ELLIS PARK

Lets be brutally honest here. The name Ellis Park is synonymous to the word Great. Its a cauldron of history. Now When Mr Bairoo from Model Primary.pulled out the History 2000 text book, Did he say scratch out the word Dingaan for Shakas half brother and changed it to Sipho Hotstix Mabuse.
Ofcourse he f#4ken didnt.
How can he alter something so rich in culture and tradition...

Thats my point..Its like changing the stadium Camp Nou to "The Chimichanga Stadium"

You just f#4ken cant. Its history. The Morocca Swallows, Kaizer chiefs, Pienaar and his lads. They have all spilled blood there.

Its where Madiba walked out hoisted the Web Ellis Trophy with Pienaar. The Mainstay Cups with JOMO. Ellis Park is tradition and History.

How the F#4k can we change the name to Coca Cola Park. What if Uncle Bai Gora buys Twiza. Then will it be Twiza or Squeeza Park.

So whats next we gonna chnage the name of other historical things.

F3$k I need your views here.

I mean if those goes on how is my GRANDFATHER AND HIS FRIENDS ever tell us "You know in Fietas Days.......................

PENALTINO-WATS THE DEAL

Whats the deal here now with PENALTINO. Is he going, Is he leaving. I mean what the f#4k.Come now really.
We all know the stitch here. I want to ask the blog is HE GOING, IS HE STAYING.
Do you MANCS want him to go. Is he Dik Kop. Are you MANCS Afraid that if he goes, your ONE MAN TEAM STATUS will be exposed?

Answers here. We want some answers?

Lets look at the factors. Big Phil says that he must go to MADRID, Zidane said so too. Ok we all know why Big Phil wants him to go. Then his mother says that before she dies she wants to see her son play for MADRID.

Now personally I think the lity should stay and leave when Ferguson retires. BUT I still believe that he has no BMT. He cannot rise when he is needed. Now Zidane, Totti, Becks...They rose when they were needed.

He is skillfull. It is said by people that have watched him live, he is deemed as phenominal.

And f#4k man 100 million price tag is ridiculous. If Zidane only went for 44 odd. this lity doesnt even deserve 50. I rather pay 100 million for a 37 year old Zidane.

But UTD can cash in, big time. They can bring in quality should MADRID break the bank. Benzima, Berbatov, Micah Richards, Van DE Vaart, Schneider, Philipp LHAM.

So is he going or leaving.

One thing the Swoosh reporters are on the ball. Thanks Ary Moosa for the pic. Apparantly this was when a guy at a nudist beach asked PENALTINO What does he think of MAN UTD

OPEN THE FLOOR

Ronaldo: 'I Want To Go To Madrid'
Cristiano Ronaldo has spoken out to Terra and apparently dropped the bombshell to Manchester United: he wants to play for Real Madrid, and seems to have urged the Spaniards to make a bid.

Speaking to the Brazilian website, Ronaldo apparently stopped hinting and explicitly stated his plans for the future.

"Yes, I would like to play for Real Madrid," he allegedly said to Terra.com.br.

"That's the truth, depending on what they are willing to spend on me and what Manchester United ask. But that's not up to me."

Apparently speaking in calm, measured tones to interviewer Julio Gomes Filho, Ronaldo said his piece and then closed the subject for the time being.

"I think I've put across an important message," he said.

"As of today, I will speak no more about this with absolutely anyone. I'll only talk about it after the Euros.

"Nobody is to ask me anymore, as I will not answer."

These utterances, made in the tranquil surroundings of Portugal's Euro 2008 training base in Neuchatel, will rock Manchester United's summer plans significantly.

The Old Trafford side, who have slammed Real Madrid and the Spanish capital press for unsettling Ronaldo, have stated in no uncertain terms that they will do their utmost to hold onto their prize asset.

Madrid, meanwhile, had previously pledged to break the bank for the goalscoring winger, although recent declarations about the difficult of signing Ronaldo have thrown such bravado into question. €80m could be the absolute bare minimum required.

However, one must ask exactly in what context the Golden Shoe winner spoke, and whether or not he was definitely speaking about this present transfer window. Indeed, some pundits have already questioned the veracity of the interview.
goal.com

I ask the readers, Is this being just DIK KOP?
Is it the right thing to do for the young Penaltino, since his won everything at MAN UTD?
Will he suffer the curse of Madrid like Beckham, Owen, Cannavaro and the likes?
And more importantly will Man Utd survive without him? That is the big question

Ok regarding Open the Floor. Im gonna spark a debate where our owes & chics can leave comments about The Best Premiership X11 for this campaign

My team pans out as follows.

GK. Petr Chech (Chelsea)

The stopper has been rated as teh best behind Gigi Buffon. He hardly makes howlers and well he has got Chelsea to where there are now

RB. Owen Hargreaves
From his Bayern days and performances for England. Hargreaves will get the RB slot. Or must we give it to Risse

LB Guile Clichy
Indeed one of Wengers inspiring litys whohas improved majestically

CB Naminya Vidic.
Ok Il be the first to admit I was wrong when I said he is a Mugg, But Vidic has been class, And its shown when he is not there.

CB Ricardo Carvalho
The portuguese hard man is a rock and definately not someone you want to crunch into a Tacle with. Il opt for him instead of Jhon Terry who I am a fan off

RH : Alexander Hleb.
On form, Il have this bloke running around on the right side

LH : Christiano Ronaldo.
If I dont put him the Penaltino here the blog will go mad, But the lity is class

CM: Cesc Fabregas. With Gerard breaking and Cesc distributing, Sublime

CM : Steven Gerard, Even though Gerard has had his quieter seasons, Its Farz not to have him in your team

STR : Didier Drogba. Even though the Drog dives and falls. Many would agree that he is a complete Striker

STR : Fernando Tores. 30 goals in his first season. El Nino is class.

MANAGER: Arsene Wenger. Any man that makes somebodys out of nobodys gets my vote especially after many including myself wrote him off as finishing outside top 5. Who heard of Viera, Petit, Fabregas, Clichy, Eboue....When he signed Them

PREVIEW TO THE BIG WEEKEND

The Premiership title. Its a big thing, The MANCS keep on lambasting us Kop owes of how bad we want the title. Ive always said on the blog, that Chelsea have played but never given us that Deg Biryani. Now Ismail Akoodee is putting the wood on the Degs.

The fires are burning and I hope Chelsea clinch the title.

But in all honesty THE MANCS have to f#4k up. One good thing is that they playing the tie at Wigan. I was at Rashid Cassim yesterday and Sal and teh MANCS were saying that Steve Bruce will hand over the title. Whaterver it takes The MANCS have to lose. Will we see a repeat of some seasons ago when Cole sold the MANCS.

Im not going to say much.......But Il just preview the two games and throw in my Masala.
CHELSEA VS BOLTON

In all honesty, I think Roman woudnt mind losing the Premiership. He wants Europe more. A premiership for him would be a bonus........But as an ABU, We want Chelsea to win. I think they will come up trumps at Bolton.Theres no question about that. And as we always said on the blog, Chelsea will quietly edge in.But its the MANCs that have to f#4k up. Bottom line

WIGAN VS MAN UTD

Anythings possible here. Can Wigan and Big Boy Heskey do It.....Maybe Wigan can at least pull a draw. Make no mistakes teh MANCS have teh firepower to pull it off. But s2#te can happen. Its the pressure of winning at all costs. I mean it was the b23tads Wigan that cost Chelsea dearly. If only they didnt concede. Its that F#4ked up MANCS luck. Its like a voodoo look that just f#4ks a ABU up. But Its all in the MANCS hands

DIVERS ON SHOW.....

Who is the better Diver, Ronaldo or Drogba...That joke was just too funny. Why was Drogba and Ronaldo banned from lampards mothers Funeral?

They were afraid that they would Dive into the Box

Whoever so wins the Blog will be painted in red or Blue for the week, Tomorow wel profile the teams, the fixtures and the banter.....

Come On Chelsea....You can do IT.....Leave your comments and your thoughts and SUPPORT CHELSEA.

ALL YOU ABUS OUT THERE...............................................ITS TIME TO BE BLUE

We often debate about the importance of the Premiership, as opposed to Europe. I found an interesting piece on goal.com

Sir Alex Ferguson has hit back at internal criticism of the Premier League as Manchester United and Chelsea go into the final matchday level on points for the first time in the history of the league.

Newcastle boss Kevin Keegan struck a nerve when he recently stated that "this league is in danger of becoming one of the most boring, but great leagues in the world" as a result of the dominance of the so-called 'Big Four'.Ferguson, however, is of a completely different opinion, countering that a Premiership monopoly - or even oligarchy - has become practically impossible to sustain in this day and age."Domination in the Premier League is very difficult and it's not a word that will be used again," insisted Sir Alex, whose club are on the cusp of their tenth title since the league was launched in 1992."People have been saying for some time now that the Premier League is the best football championship in Europe, if not the world."This season's championship race simply underlines the point."It's so dramatic, so cutthroat, exciting, skilful and fast - and it is going right to the finishing line."Defending champions Manchester United will retain their Premier League crown if they beat Wigan Athletic on the final day of the season, but anything less than three points at the JJB will very likely see the title being pipped at the death by a resurgent Chelsea."As we've seen this season, winning the title is very difficult," added the United boss."If us and Chelsea win our final game I will be very happy, because our goal difference is so much better than theirs."It would be impossible to make the Premier League any more attractive than it is, which is why more than 200 countries take our top matches on television," Fergie continued."I'm told the figure was 230 when we played Arsenal recently. To be honest, I didn't think I knew there were that many countries in the world."Essentially, it's the way we play the game that makes it so attractive, and I also believe the increasingly competitive nature of the league is a big factor too."There just isn't a 'dead cert' outcome when it comes to predicting results."Some people say the big clubs with their cash are squeezing the others into becoming also-rans, but I don't see it. There has been a definite tightening up in the Premier League."Yes, it's now a two-horse race on the home straight between us and Chelsea."But Arsenal were right up there until recently and Liverpool were always a threat, while several other sides were close to breaking into the leading group at one point."Everton and Aston Villa have narrowed the gap on the so-called top four this season."The days of the long, two-horse race for the title have gone. In fact, there are a number of teams in the division who have had a vital say in the destination of the title."Bolton took three points off us this season and Derby gave us a fright at their place."Middlesbrough have also taken points off Arsenal, Chelsea and Liverpool, as well as a couple off us."So there are no easy games and who knows what's going to happen in the remaining fixtures?"
A poem by an ABU. Its a bit old, but heck its class

OPEN THE FLOOR

Is Money a deciding factor when it comes to big transfer?

This is in light of Real Madrid chasing Christiano Ronaldo. Now its obvious after discussion and alot of Banter that the lity is currently the best in the World and he is highly sought after.

Let me go back years. I was working in Midrand as a junior web developer. And fortunately I had internet access. The transfer rumours were rife that Zidane is going for a record fee to Madrid. I said nah never. Everyday for two weeks I was on Juve blogs, forums , sites. The Agnelli Family insisted that we will never sell Zidane. Juve Players and fans rallied against the sale of the greatest player. I sat back, relaxed....Then out of the blue it was breaking news that Zidane signed for Madrid for a then record fee of 40 odd million I think.

I was shocked, I mean the Juve board assured the fans that he will never leave. From then on the same was said about Owen, Beckham, Figo and a few other loyal players whom everybody expected to stay and end their careers at their clubs. I was convinced then that its bucks over loyalty

So I ask the readers, What has it boiled down today. Is It Salary, is it the Money, Has Loyalty gone. Look obviously if you are employed and you get a lucrative offer youd be a fool to turn it down. I mean every player wants the best for himself and his family......

So will Christiano go to Madrid, Will Sir AF sell him if the price is huge and right. At the end of the day Money talks and Bullshit walks.................

SA SPORT IN GENERAL

In light of an irate ABR and the De Villiers Saga,Its Thursday and time to open the floor. Im tired of saying my say about Perreira, De Villiers, Uncle Bai Gora. Azee and Seth and ZK have their views, ABR has his, I have mines.

I ask a simple question. Okes, readers, SAY YOUR SAY about South African Sports in General. I mean we have the cricket politics, rugby politics, soccer politics, selection problems, overpaid coaches, underpaid coaches, no money poured into development. I can go on and on......................
Just Say your Say. Now this is an entertaining topic so please no Imature, racist, and blasphemous comments please. Lets discuss this topic like gentleman and adults.
Once again so many unanswered questions and fears about 2010,Eskom, the Power Cuts.
Say YOUR f#4KEN SAY?

OPEN THE FLOOR

What does it mean to be naked? Is it art, Is showing of your torso regarded as an achievement.More so when you showing it to thousands of people.

The subject is streaking. Now for the streaker is it that 10 second claim to faim to have you crown jewels splashed around to billions of people. Is streaking regarded as humour or is it disgusting. How can we not forget the streaker that mad a match winning tackle in the Currie Cup before. hE F#4KED IT UP.

Now the subject dawns on us again. When Andrew Symmonds shoulder nudged the streaker to he ground. And Im sure it wasnt Harbejan Singh.
I met a great sports pundit earlier today. Zahed Adam. We chatted about this incident. Zaheds words were "The streaker BOLL'ZED it up, pun on the word bollz. He said that the streaker disrupted the game at a crucial time of the Ozzie Run Chase.

So I open the floor. Should these naked souls be punished? Is it lighthearted ?
At proffessional levels a great deal of concentration is required. So in retrospect should the Streakers be Booted. And was Symmonds Wrong or Right? Or was Symonds reaction synonymous to John Cena. I mean Symonds broke him. See the video

WORST SOCCER INJURIES

In light of the Eduardo injury I thought I have to put something up on the worst injuries. Now its not something you take lightly.

WARNING THIS IS NOT FOR SENSITIVE VIEWERS.PLEASE SCROLL ON IF ITS NOT FOR YOU

Ive been playing sport for a while now. To date I have suffered two broken noses, ruptured ankle ligaments, torn groin, torn hamstrings, ruptured shoulder ligaments, broken ribs, torn archilles tendon, stitches on thigh and head. Fortunately for me I have never seen anything like the ones below. Always play with a shin guard. These are shocking and lemme tell you I seen a goalie break his leg in a 50/50 with a thin , maar striker. The goalie developed a blood clot and it almost went to his heart. he almost died. I heard the crack. It was hectic. But here goes

Azee, remember the bloodied Terry Butcher for England

This German player was sliced by studs

The most Horrific, Gary Bust and Dennis Irwin. Bust never played again

Hectic

Cisses leg break
I open the floor, Share your experiences, viewpoints. For instance Should Taylor be banned or is it just in the heat of the moment. Should punishment be taken on these villains. I know I was a villain on few occations and times and I was a victim too to a few horrendous tackles. But its not deliberate. Its just the heat of the moment and the passion. Is this a valid excuse. Then again if it is then why not hurt the man after the game?

OPEN THE FLOOR

A lot of talking points in sport this week. Where do we start. First up I want to tackle Azee and Seth now when this is fresh. I deeply regret not applying for the vacant South African Coaching job, or better yet my uncle should have applied. Im sure he would have got Jakes Job. I thought Heyneke Meyer would get the nod. I mean the Meyer won a Super 14 and a few Currie Cups. De Villiers just a under 21 title. So its the first Black Coach in the history of SA Rugby. Race aside Is he the right man for the Job.
Thats all I ask Azee and Seth, Is he the right man for the Job.? Or must I still ask my uncle Baai Gora to apply for the job

Secondly I open the floor to the whole India vs Austrailia Harbejan,Monkey calling, bad Umpiring series. A few points to discuss here. Why is it that always the teams from the Sub Continent suffer in Oz. Is calling someone a Monkey deemed as racism. Or If Im black and I call a white guy a monkey ,Then its racism vice versa. But If a Indian calls a Indian a Monkey or white calls a white a monkey, then you just calling him a funny man.

My point, Is Harbejan calling Symonds a MONKEY a racist comment.

Make no mistake any form of racism is pathetic. Many a times black footballers have been subjected to being called Monkeys.
But I want some views on this whole Fiasco. Whose fault was it, Maybe the Umpires. If I am in Sandton having Baglios and its raining and while Im having my Pistachio the Sun comes out. My nephew suddenly says "The Monkeys are getting married". Will they lock him Up or ban him from Sandton. I need to know.....

Also another Interesting article was about Freddy Kanoute. It is estimated that Kanoute has spent almost a year's salary to buy the mosque.MADRID - Malian Muslim footballer Frederic Kanoute, the striker ofSpain's Seville FC, has saved the only mosque in the southern Spanish city of Seville from closure.Kanoute has paid 510,860 euros (some $700,000) so that fellow Muslims in Seville would not find themselves without a mosque, reported Agence France-Presse (AFP) Thursday, December 13.The privately owned mosque was due to be sold after a contract to use thepremises by the local Muslim population had expired. But Kanoute stepped in to purchase the building. The 30-year-old striker has not made any comment on the matter. But city authorities have confirmed that the property has been registeredin Kanoute's name, according to the BBC Sport. It is estimated that Kanoute has spent almost a year's salary to buy the mosque.Kanoute, , one of the finalists for the 2007 BBC African Footballer oftheYear award, moved in 2005 from French champion Lyon to Seville FC, the2006-07 Spanish league's third and the holder of last season's cup championship.Grateful Spanish Muslims said they really appreciate Kanoute's moving gesture."If it had not been for Kanoute then we would not have had a mosque onFridays, which is the most holy day of the week for Muslims," a spokesman for the Islamic Community of Spain was quoted as saying by BBC Sport.Kanoute, who has also created a foundation in his motherland Mali to help orphans, reverted to Islam 10 years ago.Last Ramadan, he impressed Spanish football fans by his unique performance though he was fasting.Kanoute was crowned last year the league's top scorer with 20 goals, outperforming football legends such as Brazilian Ronaldinho. Kanoute, a practicing Muslim who regularly performs his prayers even inthe locker room, refused last season to wear a jersey advertising for an internet gambling site, because gambling is forbidden in Islam. His team had to give him a brand-free jersey until he accepted wearing the sponsored jersey in return for money to an Islamic charity.

Lastly I open the floor to Sam Allardyce sacking. Nicky Butt said How can you play for a club that has changed managers the way you change underwear. But Big Sam want producing........
Am I right.
There is also alot of speculation that Rafa's job is on the line.
To the Kop owes. Is Rafa going. Do we want him to go. Maybe big Sam will take Over.

Yes it has been confirmed.

Liverpool have completed the signing of Martin Skrtel from Zenit St Petersburg.
Nichola "Bilal" Anelka has been signed by Chelsea and Yes Tequilla Klinsman has taken over at
Bayern Munich

BUNG ENQUIRY-WHATS NEW

Im not going to give another article on cheating and why do people cheat etc. NOW HARRY REDNAPP has been arrested. All Im saying is WHY!. WE KNOW THE SECURITY IS TIGHT, WE KNOW FIFA INVESTIGATES. BUT WHY? IS IT GREED, IS IT THE THRILL, WHY?

On Sunday I tested the Theory of the Kleepah. It f#4ken worked. There are people waiting for the Kleep.

For our new readers see the link THEORY OF THE KLEEPAH

Def: give someone a Kleep (hundred bucks) AND you sitting in VIP with Pamela Anderson. You know what I mean.....................

So Rednap now is the latest man.

Other than that Jose has made it public that he is interested in the English Job. But why take it Jose......The only time you will have a big game is in 2010. Rather coach a top European team I say...... Unless the FA OR Terry gave him a kleep

So I open the floor on the BUNG enquiry. And with 2010 coming our way, Coruption must be eradicated. We dont want another Barcelona Sundowns Ticket fiasco.....

BUT these things are going on for years and years now. Guys still dope when they know the consequences. Is it the will to win. Is it for the fame. Is it to meet expectations from the endorsements. I mean if Swoosh0018 pays a lity to get stocks at the clubs and he pulls fuckall.Im sure the lity will resort to ,Well er lets just say other means to get the Chicks. BECAUSE after all he is getting paid. In the Footballers cases we talking millions. Sometimes crowds pay to see their man and if he cant perform or prove....... So I ask....

WHAT DRIVES SOMEONE TO CHEAT? Is it pressure, money, expectations, or just plain crooked. Unless you a Paki and throwing a game means f#4kall. But then again in Cricket some big names were on MXIT with Sanjay Gupta

OPEN THE FLOOR

This week we open the floor on WHO ARE THE BEST STRIKERS IN THE PREMIERSHIP?

Is it Adebajour & Van Persie

The tall Togo man misses alot and Faaiz Oz only swears him. But his presence is second to none. He shields the ball, does the holding job and his presence alone troubles defenders.Van Percy feeding off Adebajour. You got a menacing combo

Drogba & Shevchenko

The Drog is a class act.Strong and powerful. He dives alot but is Chelseas stalwart. And he can Finish. Sheva is a shadow of what he was but Drogba and Sheva will certainly install fear into defenders

Crouch & Torres

Finaly Benitez has experimented with Crouch and Torres and this one seems to be the one thats working. Like I said you have to have a man feeding off the target man & the lanky Crouch is ideal for this. With Torres pace, this duo are set for big things

or Rooney & Teves

All the critics were quick to label Teves as a man that is only fit to play in the hole behind the two strikers. But Teves & Rooney have been superb. They may have not found the net so often but they are gelling. Certainly the most dangerous and they have proved it

But Obviously being me I have to take a swipe at the MANCS. We know that in the past the MANCS were furious with me in the IS PETER CROUCH BETTER THAN WAYNE ROONEY especially the Punisher.

Lets do a scorecard FHM style

1. Who has scored a hatrick in the Champions League in the last two years?
1-0 to Crouchie

2. Who has dated the most supermodels, Wayne has Colleen,Crouch is on his 3rd badaam. According to the Theory of Faheem Vahzerz,Crouch is the winner
*Theory of FV=Players play better when they have smarter chics
2-0 to Crouchie

3. Chics love a owe with a thin waste and height
3-0 to Crouch

4. People hate a man with a fiery temper, They admire a man that doesnt fight
4-0 to Crouch
MUST I GO ON

5. Who scores better bicycles and acrobatic kicks?
5-0 to Crouch

6. Who is better in the air?
6-0 to Crouch

7. Who has been more effective for England?
Oh my word 7-0 to Crouch

8. Who has the best celebration?
I have to stop now. The robot dance is second to none.A whopping 8-0 to Crouch. I have to stop now before the MANCS take me to the cleaners.

As I said before Rooney is a good player,But his not in the class of great strikers like Villa,Messi, Torres,Shearer, Owen, Raul, Henry...............They leave him far behind.Even the past strikers in the premiership were far more classier....Lineker,Rush. Those owes were class, netted over 20 a season and did it Internationally. Rush maybe not because of Wales but Lineker and Shearer were awesome for England

OPEN THE FLOOR

Fast is a bit tough today I wont lie. Thought Id open the floor for today and tomorrow on which stadium has the best atmosphere.
I have personally been to Old Trafford and Elland Road in Leeds. Old trafford was awesome as I went there in Euro 96. When I STOOD at the tunnel barely a meter from the pitch I envisaged what it was like on a European Night.

I can only Imagine Anfield, The Bernabeu,Alianz Arena, Nou Camp,FNB between Chiefs & Pirates lol. The Maracana. There are so many great stadiums around the world with an atmosphere second to none. I will go to Turin one day.But I will go.

I open the floor to all the lads that have been to great stadiums around the World. Please share with the blog your experiences.I would like to hear whats it like around the world.Especially the atmosphere.

Though the wise men have spoken that ANFIELD IS SOMETHING ELSE.
One of my writers Ejaz sent me the following below

ANFIELD RATED BEST ATMOSPHERE Paul Hassall 27 September 2007
A survey of English football fans revealed what Reds supporters have known all along - Anfield has the best atmosphere in Europe.
The poll, conducted by property consultants Drivers Jonas Sport, ranked Liverpool's famous stadium ahead of the likes of Real Madrid's Bernabeu and Barcelona's Nou Camp, which was the highest-placed side from mainland Europe in fifth place. Celtic's Parkhead came second while Portsmouth's Fratton Park was a surprise third.

OPEN THE FLOOR-UEFA CHAMPIONS LEAGUE DRAW

GROUP A
Liverpool - Eng
Porto - Por
Marseille - Fra
Besiktas - Tur

We are satisfied with the group.I think Top Spot is a priority.Although the trip to Turkey is always harsh I think all the Kop owes coudnt have asked for a better draw.Im sure you owes agree. Mems,Ary Moosa..Safe journey for Us

GROUP B
Chelsea - Eng
Valencia - Spa
Schalke - Ger
Rosenborg - Nor
A scrap between Valencia and Chelsea for Top Spot should make easy viewing. Both should qualify easily I say

Group C
Real Madrid - Spa
Werder Bremen - Ger
Lazio - Ita
Olympiakos - Gre
Bremen are klaar,Lazio (Sigh) not Top Class. Denks (Rivaldo) is klaar .Breath easy here MrLoonat

Group D
AC Milan - Ita
Benfica - Por
Celtic - Sco
Shakhtar Donetsk - Ukr

This is an interesting group. The Scots are fighters and play with heart, Benfica can stage a few shocks. But they wont stand the might of Milan

Group E
Barcelona - Spa
Lyon - Fra
Stuttgart - Ger
Rangers - Sco
Lyon are not what they were.Barcelona should clean up here.I hope Rangers at least make it to the next round

Group F
Manchester United - Eng
Roma - Ita
Sporting Lisbon - Por
Dynamo Kiev - Ukr

Roma are hurt and angry. They are better equipped this year and Utd's fragile defending leads us to believe that they will be exploited in Europe. Portugal always have the upper hand over Wayne Rooney and the icy trip to Kiev. Lets cross our fingers here Abu's. But I want UTD to qualify and be booted in the next round by an Italian team
Group G
Inter Milan - Ita
PSV Eindhoven - Hol
CSKA Moscow - Rus
Fenerbahce - Tur

Inter have it all since Juve were dumped out of Europe. F#4ken Moffet kows (Cheapskates)

Group H
Arsenal - Eng
Sevilla or AEK Athens* - Spa/Gre
Steaua Bucharest - Rom
Slavia Prague - Cze

I met Mo Bhamgee at the grounds last night. Told him the draw. he said "YOU SEE HENRY IS STRUGGLING AT BARCELONA.I reassured him and told him the group. he was relieved. See you on the weekned Fabregas
FROM THE ABOVE WE CAN SEE HOW SORELY MISSED ARE JUVE.MY HEART HURTS THIS TIME OF THE YEAR....
For the record Bayern Munich ,Klose,Ribery & Toni would have had lots to offer too.
I open the floor on your views regarding the draw!
