What a way to start my birthday. 1-1 and 4 points lost in the first two games. I must admit I was surprised again by the result. Especially the lack of sms's I recieved from the Man Utd owes. Buts what happening guys. Is the Perishaans (problems) that bad. And the lity got sent off. You see thats what happens when theres frustration. Its always Utd's Story. They start squealing. But the greatest thing is that 4 points lost by the CHAMPIONS and for the boys from the KOP could we have asked for anything better.

I agreed with Mems when he mentioned Veronin. And what a strike. A wonder Strike. A match this early in Europe is always tough let alone be it an away match. But Rafa is a tactical genius in Europe. An away goal to the good. All but easy at Anfield now.
On the whole good displays by Wengers lities, Chelsea and the Drog and Svens Man City.This indeed seems to be a craker of a season

UTD are not having the best of starts this season, but I will say again. Still early days!
ReplyDeleteChelski were lucky on the night to beat Reading who worked their socks off and were unlucky not to take anything from the Russians! Drogba back and so is Lampard!
A good win for the Gunners away from home. It's never easy traveling and a great result.
Liverpool played in sweltering conditions & managed a professional performance and a good away win in France. That lity Mascherano is Class and should cement his place in the starting 11. What a cracker of a goal by Voronin! Stevie G picked up a slight knock but should be fit for the weekends clash against the mob! Bring on Chelsea!

surprised with the start that the muggs have made..crucial injury to Looney and now penaltino out for 3 games..still early days..they still have a wealth of talent and they'll start winning soon.
ReplyDeletethe gooners are playing some beautifull footie..watched them on the weekend and they were by far the best footie team on saturday, passing and movement by Hleb, van persie and fabrigas was awesome..couple of injuries and they'll be struggling as well..
Chelski are chelsea..nothing spectacular but always get the end result..they know how to win ugly.
Pool..2 games , 2 wins....there's some consistency for a change..LOL!!..Rafa loves europe and we should have another good run in the CL...League performance away from home will have to improve..not sure why we approach these games with such caution..don't expect a gung ho approach but i think that we good enough to take a more offensive approach..

united drop 4 points and u liverpool owe's think u won the league?? don't carry on like any of the top teams are not gonna drop points. obviously united have to chase all the way now, and with rooney and ronaldo out for a while, the rest of the guys are gonna have to show what they made of. its gonna be tough and this season is gonna be great,but don't write us off yet..

being a liverpool fan its hard no to enjoy what has happened to man u in the last few days. but still it is only hte start of the season and as the commentator said the last time they dre the first 2 games of the season they went on to win the treble. Omens, Omens. Remeber Liverpool still have to win the game in hand to be 4 points clear. Chelsea are a well oiled machine and the engines are goig ok, Will love to see how they do at the weekend. Remember they have a few key injuries as well. Terry is a big blow. Man U at city this weekend is going to be something, dont think the result will matter too much to Man U supporters as it is early in the season but to the city folk well it will be christmas if they win. As much as it pains me to say but united will get better as the season progresses. I think the one huge difference between last year and this is that last year there were more Chelsea players who had played in the world cup than the Man U guys, so the united guys were a bit more rested at the start than the chelsea folk and this is where United won the season. One thing i have noticed this year is that the amount of money being put into the league makes this a very exciting year ahead. I think a lot of those middle table teams are going to have a say in the final destination of the league title.
ReplyDeleteVoronin continues to make it very difficult for Rafa to leave him out. He plays, he creates and he scores, simple as. Mascherano was MOTM in a game tailor-made for him, though. He kept the house clean throughout and even mustered enough energy to run 50-60 yards downfield in the last couple of minutes. An away-goal cushion and hopefully no serious injuries - mission accomplished. Bring on the blue men!

i havent seen it, & sky news say it seemed like he was sent off for a headbutt.
if the lity did headbutt, then yes, he deserves to be sent off.
just remember, that the last time united didnt take max points from their first 2 games, they won the treble.
so will history repeat itself, like when the pope died & charles remarried ?
