INTERNATIONAL FRIENDLIES
Seth and Co sms'd me to say "Did You See Perreira and how Bafana f#4ked a full strength Paraguay squad. Firstly it wa s a friendly but Hey all credit to Bafana Bafana. They played attractive football. But rememeber now We have not won the World Cup, We just beat Paraguay in a friendly.
I must say 3 belters of goals. And a good result for the lads. Any comments on the performance, Perreira can smile coz for 1.7 million a month you must win 3-0

MIDWEEK SOCCER ROUND UP
Emphatic win for Chel$ea. Frank Lampard emerges from the dead to belt four past Derby.Ok we know its Derby but great win for the blues. In light to a comment that was made about me being biased. Come On we Are Chelseas Dadas in Europe. Mourinho wanted the Champions League so badly, Liverpool we were pathetic in the league and we go and F#4k Chelsea up twice in a row, in the semis on top of it. But good win for teh blues as we all eagerly await the draw tomorow. Elsewhere in teh Premiership, Good win for Pompey, Villa managed a draw only.
In the UEFA Cup it was heartbreak for the English teams, Jenas had the opportunity to win it for spurs but spurned his chance. Gomes emerged as the hero of the tie.
Bayern are favourites for me and with an inspired Faoruk Ribery at the helm.......Bayen look menacing.
But for Spurs and Everton the curse of England Continues

MIDWEEK SOCCER ROUND UP

Last night I recieved a pasting as usual from the MANCS, and they were not kind either. What I cant understand is why doesnt Benitez play Crouch.WHY WHY WHY WHY WHY. Can someone answer me. I have taken my wedding suit and placed it on the top shelf of my cupboard for next year. As for the penalty. EBie Kop End said it was a penalty. I couldnt watch the game as no DSTV at my grannys place but I was on line and noticed Babbel didnt even start. I hope we even come out fourth else we just have to win Europe again
THEATER OF DREAMS
The MANCS were phoning last night. All of them saying did you see that wonder goal, and what a free kick. I got the video. He just struck it man, and it swerved and dipped. I seen Del Piero take better free kicks. Even Wesley Shneider and Becks. But in context of the game, Glorious goal and the lity just keeps on scoring. And thats three points to the MANCS. I wont say more, the highlights below says it all

CARLING CUP
I phoned Faaiz Oz last night and told him to put some perfume. Its not defeat in the Carling Cup just more so a loss to arch city rivals. Whats worse is that Adebajour and Bendtner squared up with Galas intervening. Later in the tunnel they squared up again. Wengers litys were in problems. Could this affect the title challenge. Its not the defeat but its the Mohabbet(peace and tranquilty)that was the issue.
Also Bafana Bafana are up tonite. Wanna see that Angolan MANC striker.I believe he is a class act. Do we have a chance though. Really. I predict a win against Angola.

CHAMPIONS LEAGUE MATCHDAY 6

THEATER OF DREAMS
Last nights games were not full of Hype and excitement. So I wont even elaborate on it. Good to have all four English teams in the round of 16 again. Its going to be an awsome second phase. Azee ,Jean Claude Dashville sold Rangers. He spurned a glorious opportunity to equalise. But Good on Roma to draw against a second string MANC team who were resting their big Guns for the Jihad on Sunday
YOUL NEVER WALK ALONE
How about it MANCS, What can you say. We escaped in Europe yet again. Not only did we escape. We f#4ken walked out of the prison gates in front of the Warden. Simply brilliant. I must admit I didnt watch the game. I was unawre that ESPN were showing the game on time. By the time PUNISHER phoned me to watch the game it was too late. It would have been superb to watch the drubbing with two MANCS. All I want is the MANCS to leave their comments here. I want to see what they say about our victory. Last night the Virus El Nino hit Marseille. Im not gonna say more. Ejaz was taking stick..............So Ejaz first we throw some meat to the Dogs, Then we rob the House. I hand it over to you.........
Riyad Loonats Madrid also came through when needed. You see thats why BIG teams come up or produce the Goods when it is required. And all the teams that have expected to progress did. I cant wait for the next phase............

EURO 2008-A DARK NIGHT AT WEMBLY

The Guvee gutted. The Final whistle.41 years Have hurt

If that were beer in Azee's hands ..the riot police would have been called in.These Yobs were ready to tear down Mayfair & Fordsburg when Crouch equalised

2-2.The spirits were high

Its Coming Home ,Its Coming home...Its Coming .FOOTBALLS coming Home. Its Coming Home.......Defeat was hard to swallow by the Lions
England are f$#ken out. I was with Faaiz Oz last night.I came home and no DSTV at my grannys place in Parktown. As soon as I reached home Mams Wadee sent me an sms "Did you see whats hapening to England. I coudnt believe it.2-0 down in fifteen minutes. I logged on to the net,,,THEN i said F$5k this. I drove to Wembley in mayfair to watch the game with the three lions themselves. Azee,The Guvee & Talia. At the Guvees place. I got there at halftime and when we entered the lounge the Guvee put his shirt back on synonomous to his namesake Paul "The Govnor " Ince. The lads were shattered. They said....Theres "Big Shit" tonight. The cigarettes were flowing and I realised I was in no better place.
They explained to me the howler that Carson committed. Let me tell you ,this is a place to watch an England game. They waited for Becks...
I just felt that if England got one in the first ten minutes of the second half,it was game on. I chatted to the lads. How can you play Lescott and Sol Campbell in a big situation like this. Play Wes Brown and start Calamity James. These owes have played at International level before. Even a Phil Neville can be thrown in and he does the basics of Jockey'ing etc. The Guvee lambasted Sol for his lack of pace...............
Up stepped Frank and it was 2-1. Then England started playing with purpose. Becks....Crouch who was outstanding finished superbly and The Three Lions were going ballistic. I mean England back from the dead. And Then the unthinkable .....3-2 to Croatia. No Hargreaves in the substitution. No one even jockeyed the guy.At this level you have fight till the end. I told the lions that this is where you need the Tony Adams's and Battys and Inces. Those owes run till they dead. Sol turned his back twice. Even for the third goal. It was like driving a stiletto through the boys hearts.
It was unthinkable. The lads were shattered.I was not allowed to- You Tube and take some photos. It was sombre. The boys were f#4ken gutted. I was Gutted . It was like my wife has gone to the function but my mistress flopped.Italy In and England out.
Many pundits say F$5K England. They are weak. Mclaren didnt know what he was doing.I mean If you play f#4ken Downing in your team then you deserve the results. Shite or not .What is a Tournament without England. I managed to get some pictures which Il upload tonight. But these pics are disturbing and can make you cry. The lads were f#4ken gutted. The Lions kept saying how this was the first time since 1994 that theyve missed out and they were throwing names like Sven,Keegan and Graham Taylor Around.
So as I said its off to the Euro next year with my AZURRI but my mistress England remains behind. AND A SAD NIGHT FOR WORLD FOOTBALL

Steve Mclaren for f#$king a nation up. You cant play a debutant like Carson in such a big game. Then again Riza from Villa might lambast me., being a England fan himself. But In the Voice of the Cruel lady from the Weakest Link.Steve Mclaren you are the MUGG OF THE WEEK.GOODBYE AND HELLO Jose!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

UEFA CHAMPIONS LEAGUE-MATCHDAY 4

Liverpool show Rivals, You Eight seen nothing yet …
Liverpool 8 – Besiktas 0 – Now its not a Rugby match scoreline, but the score could lead to you believe so! Liverpool now hold the Record for the most goals scored European Competition, EVER. The Reds rocky European campaign has kick- started in awesome style. Supporters have been mulling over the lack of goals, and last night saw the players finally reward their weary fans with an 8 -0 thrashing of Besiktas. The strangest part of all is that the scoreline could have been more, and I say this without any hint of exaggeration. Crossbar The moment of truth for most fans came when Peter Crouch was announced in the starting lineup, the lanky striker experiencing a strange couple of months spanning from the Champions League final in May. But he weathered the storm and inspired his team-mates with his early strike and when Yossi Benayoun made it 2 – 0 , Besiktas seemed to have been dealt the killer punch, and never really created anything thereafter. Credit to Rafa’s Reds, they never let up and after half time , continued pushing and were rewarded handsomely for their efforts.
Yossi Benayoun scored a well taken Hat-trick, and always seemed to be at the right place at the right time, and seems to offer so much more than Jermaine Pennant, as he can score goals as well put in a fair amount of crosses. He certainly may have convinced Rafa that he should be starting more often, and at the very least on Saturday against Fulham.
Steven Gerrard was full of emotion and he carried the spirit of Olympiakos into this game, as the stakes were high and knowing full well the importance of the night. He even switched to his old “good luck” boots for this encounter, probably the pair that he scored the Olympiakos super goal with. And he got his name on the score-sheet albeit a somewhat deflected strike, but when Steven Gerrard forges forward with such purpose, the outcome is already written in stone.
Ryan Babel came on to score a weirdly wonderful brace, one a delightful back heel that had the Kop screaming for more. And he duly delivered, this time an attempted defensive clearance finding the back of Babel and sailing in just under the crossbar. Looks like he is back to his goal scoring best !
Peter Crouch sealed off the emphatic victory with a clinical header off a Benayoun cross, to give Liverpool the Record. A wonderful night for Reds Supporters worldwide, and a new leaf has been turned. This is the football we want to see being played. Now it all sits in Rafa’s notepad, whether he will field an unchanged side against Fulham remains to be see, though with Torres probably back to Fitness, Benitez will decide on whether He is fit enough, or should he be rested until 100% fit. Though when fit, Torres should start, “El Nino” and Crouch together could be the winning formula.
Liverpool’s eightrageous display might be the new Champions League record but is only joint fourth on their list of biggest European wins. Just to demonstrate the History of “Fortress Anfield” here are The Reds Top 5 scores in European Competition
Liverpool 11 Stromgodset 0 - European Cup Winners' Cup, September 17 1974
Liverpool 10 Dundalk 0 - European Fairs Cup, September 16 1969
Liverpool 10 Oulu Palloseura 1 - European Cup, October 1 1980
Liverpool 8 TSV Munich 0 - European Fairs Cup, November 7 1967
Liverpool 8 Besiktas 0 - Champions League, November 6 2007.
Let see Manchester United Beat this record… Well, they can try !!!
Well as my Teenage brother says : You eight seen nothing yet.
Well, 3 Points is all that matters, and the focus shifts back to the Premiership now as Fulham await on Saturday…

CHAMPIONS LEAGUE MATCHDAY 3

From The Kop End

Ejaz Khan
Liverpool loss to Besiktas has been a shock of extraordinary proportion, as the Reds now certainly have one foot out of Europe’s elite competition. Once again, Sami Hyppia scores at the wrong end, and hopefully he won’t get his third against Arsenal on Saturday. Hopefully he won’t be playing at all. Rafa should seek the services of the Oxygen tent that helped speed Rooney’s recovery from a similar metatarsal injury, and keep Agger in Intensive care, because his return is vital. Rafa should consider throwing the likes of Jack Hobbs into the thick of things, I’m sure the teenage defender, cannot do any worse than the ageing Finn. The biggest problem in this all important fixture is the absence of one name in the starting lineup, that of Peter Crouch. Fans are besides themselves with theories as to why he does not feature so often for Liverpool. Surely he is fit and ready, patiently waiting his turn. It was the same problem last year in the Champions league final, the instant he came on, the Reds looked to score, and his height causes problems for the best defence, anywhere in the world. So why keep him languishing on the bench, when ANYONE can see his an asset to the club. Steven Gerrard’s bullet header into the top corner yesterday, came shortly after Crouch was introduced, and one has to wonder, as was the case in the Champions league final in May, if he came on earlier, would it have been a different storyline.
Ifs and buts don’t change the scoreline, and I’m pretty sure Peter Crouch will most certainly be losing patience. Sure, he might feel obligated to Rafa for sticking with him through his lengthy barren spell during his early days at Anfield, but surely he doesn’t have to payback with Bench time. Crouch is a wonderful footballer, and contrary to the common misconception, his strength is with the ball at his feet, hence the “Crouchinho” tag. We saw with his hat-trick against Arsenal last year that his quick feet are proportionate to his height - right up there ! Has there been a breakdown in the relationship between Benitez and Crouch ? Is the Tall Man on his way out? Speaking of which, I really hope that John Arne Riise is going to Villa, and if they don’t buy him, I beg Rafa to pay them to take him. He is so average that It amazes me as to just how he sustains his place in the team.Aah Yes, by default, there’s no one else to compete with him for his place, so I guess its ok, being in the team as an outball specialist. Seems to throw further than he passes, I think most Liverpool supporters will agree that one spectacular goal a season is far from below par for Liverpool, and thanks , but no thanks Riise, go well and Take Sami Hyppia with you please ! The most positive aspect to come out of last night’s loss is that Steven Gerrard has managed to demonstrate that he still has that fight and bite in his game. He tackled all game, he made himself available to collect balls from the defense and was almost at the end of a good number of chances,a nd scored a sublime header. Basically, last night we saw the Gerrard we know who can turn on the style and his header was top-class. There is one concerning factor that troubles me somewhat…That Liverpool have this uncanny ability to make ordinary opposition look great. Besiktas were beaten by everyone else in the group, and Liverpool made things difficult for themselves. I must say there supporters provide quiet a blanket of noise and the tin can that hit Jermaine Pennant must have scared his socks off. I would rather he pull up his socks, Pennant is another player who can’t seem to take the ball forward and for all his step-overs and trickery only manages running parrarel to the poles, as does Javier Mascherano whenever the opposing team invitingly allow him to come forward. I think he has been worked out now by most team, he just can’t get forward or be any assistance in attack. Dirk Kuyt did virtually nothing all night and Voronin couldn’t take the few chances that cames his way. Steve Finnan seems to have lost a couple of yards overnight, so Rafa has his work cut out ahead of Arsenal on Sunday. All in all a poor performance from the Reds, and they will need to work extra hard against the Gunners who will be looking to exploit the disappointment of the Besiktas loss. Not an easy time in Rafa’s tenure, by any means, the fans wait to see what character the Reds are made of ,once again….

MID WEEK SOCCER ROUND UP-THE FLUTES HAVE STOPPED

UEFA CHAMPIONS LEAGUE MATCHDAY 2

FROM THE KOP END
"I bet a million MANCS were wishing Torres shot hit the bar in stopage time and he did"
Why didnt Bernitez play Macherano. Why does he always chop and change. To add insult to injury it was the first time a French team ever won at Anfield. Our 12th Man.
Look I have one motto, I had even with Juve. If you play shit you deserve to lose. Liverpool only played from the 90 th minute. Other than that they were horrific. We only played in the last four minutes. I dont know if the fellow Kop owes agree but this rotation system is screwing us over. 60 million spent and we play like that. Who was that other lity in midfield.Risse had to start from the get GO. Why the toppie does this I dont know. Is it wise to make him MOTW. Mugg of the Week. Should we boys.We have the squad. But Ferguson and Wenger do.I hate to admit this but Sir Alex knows how to rotate better than Rafa. He after all always starts with his core aquad when it matters. Look at Wenger. One unit throughout. As we said there are certain guys YOU JUST HAVE TO START WITH. Macherano has a cracker. Than he is rested. Its like you bone your beamer ,go on a date with a friend. You make an impression. Than you have a big date with Kerry Mcgregor. You park your Bmw and take your fathers old Datsun. When it matters the most. Just a theory. It doesnt work.
You have to SHOW FOR THE BIG OCCASIONS.THATS MY POINT.......
What makes it worse is that Porto won and the trip to Turkey looks dangerous. We cant possibly be dumped out of Europe. Thats Rafa's back yard. I think Punisher prayed alot in Fietas last night. He phoned me and jinxed the whole night.
Im gutted. But it was a night of shocks and away victories. Chelsea and the Drog were class. And so were Celtic. A win against the mighty Milan.Sack Ancelotti nad bring Jose. How was the incident with Dida. The man had to be stretchered off and acted like he was closed lined by Jhon Cena. What a performer. Although Celtic should be fined. It is dangerous.
Madrid drew 2-2 and some great shocks all round. Madrid will still qualify.Bottom line Il be the first to admit.Liverpool we in the Perishaans. But Unlike then MANCS Im sure the boys from the blog and Kop will be gracious in defeat and show ourselves
Look at this beautiful trophy on the left. Last night as I left the mosque Mamoo says to me did you see the lity Nani.He was everywhere. Now we are Gelling. I got an sms from Salfaraz from Azaadville stating that Totti did nothing. I replied Totti had a chance to bury you Muggs. Back to my point I dont see this beautiful trophy sitting at OT.
Man Utd 1 Roma 0
Any game away is tough.Old Trafford is special in Europe.Totti and his fellow Romans must be bitterly disappointed at the result. Credit to Man Utd though as they grinded out a impressive result against a revitalised and angry Roma. Totti I thought should have burried his chance in the second half. Wayne who?Wayne Rooney pops up and delivers. Rooney maintains his credibility in Europe. For the MANCs sake I hope Ferguson now doesnt play with one striker in the BIG games
Steaua Bucuresti 0 Arsenal 1
Robin van Persie, who is muslime Im led to believe delivered late for the Gunners. And Wengers lads keep on marching on. Impressive result away from home. Have the Gunners lost this season......?A great away win in Europe if you ask me. Well done Faaiz Oz, Jives and Zam Ram for not making this blog stink like last year. You okes are on a role
Elsewhere Messi cant seem to stop scoring. He was instrumental yet again. Inter and Zlatan got their european campaign back on track.Good wins for Sevilla as well and the fasting Kanoute.
But how was Rangers thumping Lyon. Lyon were always dark horses in Europe.this time they virtually out. I wonder if Jean Claude Dajjville had a business card to give to the Lyon Fans

MID WEED SOCCER ROUND UP

REMEMBER COVENTRY.WELL IF YOU FORGOT THEM .NOW IS A GOOD TIME TO REFLECT. AND ITS THE 1 YEAR ANNIVESARY SINCE SOUTHEND DUMPED THE MANCS
MAN UTD 0 COVENTRY 2
Is this correct.Ive had numerous sms's from the Kop owes saying take the MUGGS TO THE CLEANERS AND paint the blog sky blue. Ok I know this was a second string Man Utd side. But isnt pride at stake here. At least we dont have to hear about the quadruple now. Bottom line is MAN UTD ARE OUT OF THE CARLING CUP and as the ROCK from the WWE says "AND THATS THE BOTTOM LINE"
Elsewhere results when as expected but a strong Villa team were bounced out. Riza ANY WORDS FROM YOU HERE. Is this a train smash for a Villa Supporter. I know I feel the pain when Juve get dumped from the Coppa Italia. Must be a disappointing result for you.ARSENAL 2 NEWCASTLE 0
Wenger lads keep moving on.Nicholas Bentner is one to watch in the future
READING 2 LIVERPOOL 4
Back to winning ways.At one stage we didnt look like we wanted the victory. And then a hatrick for our boy Fernando Torres. As the commentator said whatver Rush can do the Boy can do it better
The rest of the results yielded no upsets.
AGAIN WE ASK OUR MAN UTD FANS.IS THE CARLING CUP IMPORTANT.
SAY YOUR SAY NOW. DONT LOSE EVERYTHING AND THEN IN THE END SAY THAT THE CARLING CUP IS IMPORTANT?
SAY IT FROM THE GET GO

MID WEEK SOCCER ROUND UP

MATCHDAY 1
THEATER OF DREAMS
What can I say.The MANCS have got their first 3 points in Europe. The lity stepped up a gear. I must say a good result against a motivated Sporting team. Deep down I expected the lity to score. Going back to Portugal he had a point to prove. Im not going to slate. 3 points is 3 points in Europe away from Home
ALWAYS A GUNNER
Wengers litys are on a roll.3 against Sevilla. Cesc Fabregas for president. The lad is having a riviting start to the season. Faiz Oz,Zam Ram.I LEAVE IT to you boys
The other results went as expected.Roma,PSV and the likes all advancing. Talia and Azee.Did JCD score. The man is doing the official embroidery for Swoosh0018.com. The Caps came out class. One thing I was happy about.Inter lost. I coudnt have it my way with UTD but TOTTI and Co will take care of that for me
FROM THE KOP ENDI think we were lucky to come away with a point. After Penants red card Porto kept threatening the Liverpool goal. The Porto penalty, well I think Reyna did commit a foul. Its difficult though coming out in a 50/50.You have got to commit and well thats the way it goes. Kuyt demonstrated again his prowess in Europe. Torres had a dissapointing debut.Enough said. Two terrible games in a row but we should bounce back. The lads I thought did well to come away with a point.
In the other games Real Madrid fought to prove they are hungry for Big Ears this year. Cannavaro stated that this is the only trophy that has eluded him and the squad wants it.Good to see Raul & Van poaching the goals. Milan in Europe are Milan. I would have thought that the Bhouys Celtic would have done better.
CHEL$KI.
Perhaps the shock of the round. 1-0 down to Rosenborg. Sheva headed in the equaliser and Like I said earlier. You cant attend a wedding that doesnt serve tea. Mourinho looks like he will be the big casualty of the season.
Other than that Lets see what tomorrow has in store.Maybe we can slaughter well before Eid. Mark my Words. This MANC defense will be exposed in Europe.I guess I got this wrong.Il leave it to Chelsea

EURO 2008 PREVIEW

Azee, You must be stressing & in the Perishaans(problems). Are you watching the game with the GUVEE and Talia. You know there's problems when England recall BIG BOY HESKEY. And what makes it worse is that key midfielders Beckham,Lampard & Gerard all stand to miss the action. Should Gerard obey Benitez or McLaren and take pain killing injections for the game against Israel?

A big weekend for my chaps this weekend. At least we at home to France in Milan and then away to Ukraine. Ukraine Im not really worried about.I think we will come out on top. On Saturday though , thats the one. Fabio will probably partner Barzagli in the heart of the defense. Since Nesta is retired and the Matrix injured I am confident that backed by a partisan Italian crowd, we have the ammo that is needed to pull clear of the group. But it wont be easy. I think Donadoni should start with Buffon, Grosso, Barzagli, Cannavaro, Oddo, Gatusso,Pirlo,De Rossi. De Natale, Toni & Inzaghi. Del should come off the bench. Thats a descent Italian side. France though showed their weekness earlier in the group. The main thing though is that its a Home Tie in MILAN. If we win there then off to Ukraine we go, And we will come back with a result.

MID WEEK SOCCER ROUND UP
