From all our players Masherano was the most involved in breaking PORTO down... we played terrible in the 1st half but came back stronger in the 2nd!

ReplyDeletenot the best performance from the boys but considering the poor showing and being down to 10 men a draw is a fantastic result..i think Porto were excellent on the ball and demonstrated the calibre of opposition that you come to expect in europe..they seldom give the ball away and Carra said that the 1st 30 minutes were as diffcult as any game that he's played in in europe..still, even with 10 men Porto didn't offer too much and they might regret not taking the game to us when we meet at Anfield..all in all a decent result 4 us.

Have to say that Kuyt has been a revelation..not the best 1st touch but his workrate is 2nd to none..we need a few more players with the same work ethic...

What a game the gunners provided last night, sevilla are a class team but we sure as hell welcomed them to the emirates and their first ever game in Champions league, all those mouths talking about how finish we are without titi its payback...
ReplyDeleteAs for liverpool here's something, pennant is a mug and could not make the arsenal team so why Benitez thought he could instill some talent i dont know but he's junk trust me i seen him play for us and pool and he just stinks majority of the time and as for Babel we were supposed to buy him but wenger declined and commented that he's first touch is not sharp enough and he holds the ball too long, never seen play for liverpool yet so not sure if there's much truth in that but Rafa common pennant what do you see which wenger and the world doesnt?
