ReplyDeleteLet's be honest the standard of our footy is SH*T! For all the resources and funding we have as Africa's richest league and clubs we can't even compete in Africa. SA teams have only won 1 African CL in 95. Since then we have failed dismally! Some of our clubs don't even bother to play in the African Cup Winners Cup. How will we ever improve if we refuse to test ourselves against Africa's best?

I'm not even comparing Chiefs to to United. Our top SA teams be it Sundowns, Ajax or even Supersport can't even compete with the rest of Africa. Teams like Al Ahly, ASEC, Zamalek, Hearts of Oak, CS Sfaxien regularly dish out footballing lessons to our supposed best!
