ARE WE READY! GOOD QUESTION.
ReplyDeleteCan someone Please ask me Who is the lyer.
SAFA AND RAYMOND HACK or the Cameroon FA.
This in regard to the Cameroon Coach saying that his players were not issued Visas and there was no organisation whatsover on SAFAS part
Hack obviously denied this. But wht will a man mention this on Public TV. Perhaps there is some element of truth in their.
Lets have some structured debate on this. Galactico.....Whats your comment on this
Tough one, had Cameroon won would Pfister be kicking up such a fuss?
ReplyDeleteIs it because they lost that now his missing players becomes an issue. The SA public would love to have seen Sam and the rest that were missing appear and test Bafana.
Could it be that their European clubs pressurised them to miss the so called "meaningless friendlies", avoiding travelling 1000's of miles and rushing back for weekend fixtures? Missing a flight is an easy excuse and doesn't get your club into any problems with your local FA either.
But why will a guy risk his reputation on public TV.There must be some element of truth in there
ReplyDeleteI agree with Seth... these are meaningless freindlies... they should rather do away with them.
ReplyDeleteIn footbal, clubs are bigger than the country, and quite rightly so as they paying the big money for the player.
Lets see how "meaningless friendlies" have influenced the EPL and CL in the recent weeks-
the 3 big ones are :
1) Torres
2) Berbatov
3) Walcott
Why should teams risk their big names ?

ABR YOU MUGG! ITS ABOUT THE PASSION AND PRIDE OF WEARING YOUR NATIONAL JERSEY! THESE SO CALLED MEANINGLESS FRIENDLIES GIVE OPPURTUNITIES TO LIGHTIES TO CUT THERE TEETH AT THE HIGHEST LEVEL! U THINK AGBONLOHOR,UPSON GLEN JOHNSON WILL GET CHANCES TO PLAY OTHERWISE!
ReplyDeleteCARRICK HAD BLINDER ON WEDNESDAY! I THINK CAPEELO WILL ALSO REALISE THAT CARRICK IS BETTER THEN GERRRARD AND DROP THE MUGG STEVIE G!
ReplyDeleteTHE DEBATE IS OVER: CARRICK IS BETTER THEN GERRARD!
is frazer cambell better then torres?
ReplyDeleteis seth a bigger mugg than azee?
ReplyDeleteI agree with you anonymous. Its about wearing that National Jersey with pride. If theres no meaningless friendlies then when the teams play official games and the aquad doesnt gel than the critics are the first on the scene like ABR
ReplyDeleteAboowith
SETH & ABR the bigger Muggs...
ReplyDeleteWe know Swoosh has gladly accepted the Muugg of the Week award but we have to maybe hand it Seth & Abr next week.
Muggs enjoy the weekend i hope livertwats freaking lose, the blues as well and the dominant manc force comes up with a stunner over villa
Soccer and rugby are very different.
ReplyDeleteThe grass roots rubgy programs feed the clubs, which then feed into the local franchises, and that feeds into the National Team.
the National team is the dream of every schoolboy, and its like this for every rugby playing nation.
Soccer on the other hand, the club is more important. A national callup is a "nice to have" but players are more concerned with making the clubs starting line-up.
What's more important : a world cup medal, or a champions league medal???
