YOU WILL NEVER WALK ALONE

What can I say. We can walk proud. We can hold our heads up high. We took it to Chelsea. It just wasnt meant to be. We did what we could. 2-0 up,Kuyt hitting the bar to make it three...and then a complete howler by Reyna to let Chelsea back into the game. Then a bullet of a free kick by Alex that gave Reyna no chance. Lampard was outstanding on the night as Captain and credit to Chelsea for fighting their way back. Many of the lads smsd to swear Lucas and it waas Lucas that equalised. Kut made it 4-3 and were we gonna see a shock result of Liverpool scoring at the death. It was a brilliant European game and when Lampard equalised in my heart I knew that it was over. End to End stuff. You cant falt anyone and although I felt babbel and Riera should have been brought on earlier, I guess thats football. We came out fighting and we gave Chelsea a fight.

After this now I can concede that Chelsea are our Dadas.

But hold your heads up high lads and Walk tall. Thats all I have to say, Cant write much, its a bit emotional.

In the other tie there was no surprises as Barcelona went through to the semis and lets hope Porto can do the Business tonight

  6. what an awesome game.

Chelsea was the better team and deserved the win. Chelsea really fought back bravely to quiet the spirit of istanbul.

    What an awesome game.

Hey Swoosh : normally the mancs would be pumping their mouths after liverpool got dumped out of Europe.

    Why the Silence guys???

    Why all the tension???

Are you guys a tad bit afraid???

  7. Liverpool looked attractive on the night a stark difference to the form they showed last week at home, this goes to show that on the night/day no matter who you are you can play kak or look like maestros....

As a manc i must say i wanted liverpool to go through they really made a spectacle out of it.... it's a shame that there bad day at the office came last week at home

For us, we are on the rise, after 2 bad weeks i feel that we've turn the tide and tonight we gonna make the semi's

A fantastic game ,& a brilliant european night of football. & liverpool came close.

  10. Possibly one of the most exciting games I've seen in a long time !!!

Whichever team you support, you have to give credit where it's due and Chelsea and Liverpool provided great entertainment. Ultimately, which ever team went thru deserved it.

Had Stevie G and John Terry been on the pitch last night, would the game have a different outcome? I'm not sure, as Lampard and Drogba really played with spirit.

It's a pity all Chelski's hard work could possibly be in vain when they come up against Barca. If their backline continues to leak goals (7 in two games), Barca will crucify them, home and away.

How was Alex's free kick !!! Spectacular ... Joe Cole joked after the game that it's a good thing Ricky Carvalho ducked out of the way, else he would have ended up in Hospital

  13. The MANCS are in PANIC STATIONS.....PANIC STATIONS

It will be a tragedy for them to get dumped out, especially since they have been blessed with the easier draw.

  14. ABR i think it has more to do with the fact that us MANCS don't really care about the result last nite, nor the fact that Liverpool are out.
Last nite's result interests me in the least bit, all that matters is tonites result.
Why should we pump our mouths? It was Chelsea that got the victory.

  20. a brilliant game.

well done to chelsea for winning, & well done to liverpool for taking the game till the end.

    it was super football.

    the scousers almost did it.

this just shows the quality of the english league.

    "go" EAT A NANDOS

  21. I wonder about it being a great game! Chelsea were very poor. How they got themselves into that position only they know. The scousers had to go for it so u can excuse there defensive blunders but chelsea had no excuses. yeh it was great entertainment but you have to question the poor defending! JT is more important to chelsea then stevie g is to the scousers!
