On a freezing cold Johannesburg Night, The Confederations Cup in Johannesburg drew to an end with Brazil and USA putting on an exellent showing in front of a capacity crowd at Ellis Park. I must admit the USA played well in the first half taking a shock two goal lead.
Brazil were shell shocked and thankfully the goal cam early in the second half. After that it was all Brazil. And they duely ran out 2 goal winners much to the delight of the crowd and most of the fans. The atmosphere for the final and the build up was awesome and the Confederations Cup on the whole for me and many of the fans was spectular. It was amazing to see many of the great footballers that we watched so much over the years on TV finally playing in front of us on our own shores in South Africa. I must say through my experience the people and staff were friendly,The Fans were amazing and contributed alot to the atmosphere.

The facilities and security were TOP NOTCH for a change with only the PARK AND RIDE known to give people hastles. For us though it was an awesome Confederations Cup in South Africa. I will be uploading some videos about the great moments of the 2009 Confedrations Cup as seen by

Ke Nako and Brazil and Kaka produced the flair that makes them worthy Champions. Kaka was also deserving of the Player of the tournament and it was amazing to see him play.Last night the man was everywhere. On the left ,On the right, the award was truely deserving.

Also from a Bafana Bafana viewpoint it was great to see them play well yesterday against a decent Spanish Outfit in Rustenburg. The game produced some great goals especially the Bafana Free-Kick. I have often been a big critic of the SA team but this tournament they have did teh country proud.

All I can say is Ke Nako and brace yourselfs for World Cup 2010.Its gonna be specturlar.
Please leave your comments on your views of the 2009 Confederations Cup

Kaka meets Seth Blatter. The lads have been out and about and have met many players Check Out.

On Friday Sandton City was red as the Lions entered the Johannesburg Jungle and for the battle against the Boks. Again it was a spectular game of Rugby. Although SA had a miserable first half the Boks got back into it,recovered the deficit and clinched teh series in spectular fashion

This is the opinion of Springbok rugby captain, John Smit.
“There is definitely enough motivation left for us. We have standards to uphold. Much work needs to be done, especially thinking ahead to the international rugby awaiting us. We therefore want to improve and build momentum in the process. The team are still not playing the rugby they are capable of.”

But again the atmosphere was awesome with the Lions fans everywhere. Azee and Seth your comments please.
As far as Wimbledon goes it should be a breeze for Roger Federer, with stiff opposition expected from Roddic and Djokovic. But will Andy Murray do it for the Brits.Lets wait and see
