World Cup is over.I had a good rest and now its back to the footie and sport. So I ask the Liverpool guys .WHAT DO YOU THINK OF ROY HODGSON and the forthcoming season.Torres is staying but demanded Silverware.What do you think of the current signings,Manchester Citys spending and Arsenal and Chelsea.
Hodgson is probably best known for guiding the Swiss national team to the last 16 of the 1994 World Cup and qualification for Euro 1996; Switzerland had not qualified for a major tournament since the 1960s. He has also coached many notable club sides, including Malmö FF, Internazionale, Blackburn Rovers, Udinese and most recently, at Fulham, where he guided them from relegation battlers to Europa League finalists within 3 years. He was appointed to his current role at Liverpool on 1 July 2010.
I guess I expected a high profile guy.When Hodgson was signed many of the Liverpool owes said that its a step in the wrong direction.But he has signed Joe Cole,Danny Wilson,persuaded Steven Gerard to stay and Torres as well. I dunno.Gonna be Interesting.
City have gone wild and Arsenal battle to hold on to Fabregas.United have signed the Mexican lity Hernandes who has impressed with pace. Still though the BIG SIGNING we await.
Real Madrid have said goodbye to servants Raul and Guti. I would have loved to see Raul end his career in the Premiership.

Definately a step in the right direction. New energy in the team. Hopefully the new signings will make a difference. Joe Cole is relishing the thought of supplying Torres.
ReplyDeleteJa joe cole is definitely a good buy, he can warm half the season on the bench just like he did at chelsea, actually that's a tradition at liverpool, buy injured,free players. As for roy hodgson, he is a good mid-table manager, maybe he will be instrumental in leading the second half of the table this season with liverpool hehehehe.
