IMAGINE IF THIS WERE THE OTHER WAY. DEL joining Man utd. What would I do. Id go MAD. I will give up soccer. Turin is his homeand where he belongs and THANK GOD he didnt go to Old Trafford.I would have shut the blog down I kid you not. Thanks Faaiz Oz for the article

Alessandro Del Piero has claimed that he turned down the chance to join Manchester United in the summer.
Sir Alex Ferguson attempted to bring the World Cup winner to Old Trafford after Juventus suffered relegation due to a match fixing conviction.
However Del Piero decided to remain with the Bianconeri, and the club's all-time record goalscorer has gone on to make his 500th appearance for the club in Serie B this season.
Now the cultured forward has revealed how he resisted the lure of United to try and secure his legacy at Stadio Delle Alpi.
"It's all true. I could have been a Red Devil," said Del Piero in The Sun.
"Manchester United representatives contacted me in August.
"At first I was flattered, but I never really thought of leaving Juventus.
"I've been playing 13 years in this club and I want to finish my career here. I'm sure Alex Ferguson understood my decision."
The United boss did not manage to strengthen his attack in the summer, but Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has since returned to full fitness and the club have also recruited Henrik Larsson on loan.

WELL DONE IF EVER YOU GO TO ENGLAND GO TO THE KOP

  3. Biggy is back in the building. Not the best of times as my fantasy league side took a pounding and the Great Man U conceded on the last kick of the game to leave the emirates with nothing, when 3 points looked to be in the bag. Lets not forget to mention a mouth pumping Cisse. All in all man united came out of the weekend in the same position they went in, 6 points clear of their nearest and perhaps only rival.Congrats must be given to the Liverpool Muggs. Even though you guys are still kak and hated by all quaters of the Old Trafford faithfull, we more then happy that you guys beat Chelsea. Looks like you guys will make the forth spot and get your chance to play in ECL next season.

  4. BREAKING NEWS:
With the DIC taking over the kop it has been rumoured that the carlsberg sponsorship will be coming to an end. Rumour has it that 5 roses had structured a deal worth a massive 23million to show their name on the liverpool kit. However they feel that they might have to pull out as liverpool can't stand the heat of the cup.

  5. Yeeeeeeeeeeeeeesh

  9. Zunaid. Chelsea is a kak team with no tradition, no major european honours and no CLASS. You talking great clubs only the likes of Madrid, Barca, A.C and Juve (just for you swoosh) come to mind when you mention great. Chealsea are not even great in England, forget the world. Win 3 throphies in a season. Win a ECL. Win it with half you side injured. You guys are a bunch of overpaid underloved idiots. I true fan would watch their side drop to a lower division, but always back them. As Sean Conorry said in The Rock: Personally I think you a F#cken Idiot

  10. So nice to see the liverpool and gunners fans find voice on the blogg. Great results against the top two. Question is, are you gonna build from there and join the tittle race. Only time will tell. I still think that Man U have what it takes to hold on to the lead. I dont see the likes of any of the top four taking maximum points from the rest of the games. Remeber that come end of the season, you up agaisnt teams fighting to make it to Europe, Teams fighting to stay in the Premier League. Also the top four would have a much more congested fixture list then other teams. All in all it makes great viewing for us the FANS. GLORY GLORY MAN UNITED

  11. Biggy you guys will take it or should, chelsea will pose a threat but not as much as previous years and with arsenal and liverpool the gap is too big and i dont see utd losing too many games, better utd than chelsea i say

  12. THATS WHAT YOU THINK BIGGY, WHAT DO YOU KNOW AND WHO THE HELL ARE YOU THAT I SHOULD LISTEN TO YOU, KEEP PREACHING TO THE UNEDUCATED THEY MIGHT LISTEN, AS FAR AS I KNOW THE PREMIERSHIP TROPHY IS SITTING AT WHO'S STADIUM?

BIG MOUTHS WITH NOTHING TO SAY EXCEPT KAK, ALL THE ENGLISH TEAMS ARE KAK EXCEPT CHELSEA

  13. Biggy,

"Question is, are you gonna build from there and join the tittle race."

Are United's season going to fall apart?
Is Chelsea going to get over their backroom and injuries and start firing on all cylinders?

I guess each supporter can only ask questions of his own team.

Arsene Wenger is quoted as saying that "United's title challenge will not crumble after defeat at Arsenal" I agree, the title is there for United to loose. Chelsea is going through a bad patch, Arsenal's one might have finished, Liverpool are still going through theirs since about 1990 I think. (Just joking Pool fans!!!).

When is United's "bad patch" going to happen, if it is going to happen?

A couple of season's ago Arsenal were leaders with a 12 point lead and managed to loose the league title.

Just adding to what Cisse said, unlike you most of the guys here have been supporting their clubs since childhood. We dont change clubs simply because they going through a slump or some new billionaire takes over. We support the club and not the fu**en chairman.

What difference does it make if you're the richest team in the world but can't win the CL? I dont see Abramovich handing out notes to Chelski supporters at games. So gain some pedigree and class and then compare yourself to th great clubs of this world.

    ReplyDelete
  15. The only uneducated one on this blog is you Zunaid , you do support ckelski after all . Like Biggy said " a club with no tradition whatsoever .

yahood has got billions but Madrid are the richest club in the world.
Are you too thick to understand that !

Bye the way our (LFC) wealth is measure by whats in our trophy cabinet ( something that chelski don't have )

    ReplyDelete
  16. Since you are the only chelski "supporter" on the blog I think that should log on as a blogger .

Your nick should be Borat - the villiage idiot .

  17. aLOT OF U OKES ARE BITTER TOWARDS CHELSEA WHICH IS WRONG. HOW THEY WON 2 TITLES AND HAVE BEEN DOMINATING IN ENGLAND FOR TWO YEARS IS IMMATERIAL, AS LONG AS THEY DID IT! YEH IT TOOK ROMANS MILLIONS BUT IF IT WAS SO SIMPLE WHY HASN'T SOME OTHER CLUB DONE IT BEFORE THEM. WE GOT TO RESPECT THEM AS THEY ARE THE REIGNING CHAMPS.

TRUE , ALOT OF CLOWNS ONLY STARTED SUPPORTING CHELSEA ONCE ROMAN CAME WHERE AS WE HAVE BEEN SUPPORTING OUR CLUBS THROUGH THE PAINFUL YEARS BUT I GUESS SUCCESS ATTRACTS PEOPLE!

NASEEM I WOULD HAVE LOVED TO HAVE SEEN DEL AT TRAFFORD, OH IT WOULD HAVE BEEN SUBLIME JUST TO SEE YOUR FACE?

    ReplyDelete
  18. I have nothing against Chelsea. All credit to Jose for winning back to back titles and always stirring up trouble in the league. I think His a Boss. Then theres Roman, his playing real life championship manager and doing a fine job at it. He loves his club and backs them all the way. Perhaps he could move around with a half decent Stock by his side but thats besides the point. But all this does not make Chelsea great. Greatness has to be earned. It takes years to establish yourself as a great club. Perhaps chelsea has a great team at the moment( even though they short in numbers at the back) but now way in hell are they a great club. Its all about tradition and a throphy cabinet.

  19. WHO'S THIS ZUNAID OKE? YOU ARE A PASSIONATE IGNORANT IDIOT,WHERE WAS CHELSKI 5 YEARS AGO,I,LL TELL U,U WERE NEXT TO VILLA UNDER SPURS ABOVE WOLVES AND HOPING TO CATCH EVERTON FOR A MID TABLE SPOT.CHELSKI WILL HAVE TO WIN THE NEXT 10 TITLES 5 FA CUPS AND 1 CHAMPS TROPHY BEFORE I INCLUDE THEM IN THE TOP 4 BIG TEAMS.ZOBESTER

  20. Guys, come on.

Zunaid is a Chelsea supporter and lets respect him for that. Some of his banter is a bit over the top but the man seems to have passion for the club that his supports.

The fact is Chelsea are premiership champions. I do not understand why they need to be "great", maybe this is the beginning of their greatness.

It is like United talking about how they won the treble, or Liverpool supporters winning the champions league numerous times.
Lets leave the "past achievements" when Swoosh decides to put something up. For now lets talk about the here and now.

I think Nottingham Forrest won a European cup in those days, so does that make them a great team?

    ReplyDelete
  21. Howzit offside , I think forest won it twice and yes they were a great team .

  22. LIVERPOOL AND UTD WE WILL BE GREAT, RIGHT NOW I AM POSITIVE ALL TEAMS IN THE WORLD FEAR PLAYING CHELSEA MORE THAN YOU USLESS PIGS.

OFFSIDE IS THE ONLY SENSIBLE GUY ON THIS SITE WHICH IS NOT SO GREAT AND OFFSIDE I BET YOU EDUCATED UNLIKE SETH,, ZOBSTER, CISSE AND BIGGY WHO GOT NO BRAINS WITH NO FORESIGHT, THERE WAS A TIME WHEN YOUR TROPHY CABINETS WERE EMPTY AND IN TIME YOU WILL ADMIRE WHAT CHELSEA HAVE ACHIEVED, ITS CHELSEA'S TIME NOW AND YOU GUYS CANT HANDLE IT, THE SUN IS SHINING ON US NOW, ZOBSTER YOU IDIOT WE WILL WIN EVERYTHING FOR THE NEXT TEN YEARS AND LIVERPOOL WILL STILL BE REMMBERING THEIR LAST PREMIERSHIP TITLE FROM 16 YEARS AGO, THEY WERE GREAT BUT SORRY IDIOTS TIMES HAVE CHANGED, GROW UP AND MOVE ON

Your lack of education clearly shows in your argument and the fact that you resort to insulting fellow bloggers.

No one has issues with Chelsea and their success. Congratulations to them coz they've been magnificent over the past 2 seasons.

We have issues with guys like you who only switched on SS3 yesterday, saw Chelsea win the PL and then carried on as if you stood by them for the last 50 years that they waited for the title. I'd like to know what hapens when their run is over, are you going to find a new team to support?
