Or should he rest and reserve himself for the remainder of the season. This is a big weekend and we could see England dumped out early. If they succeed at Israel , the daunting trip to Russia awaits. Its Englands own fault really.They made heavy weather in the beginning. Im scared honestly. A big weekend for my chaps this weekend. At least we at home to France in Milan and then away to Ukraine. Ukraine Im not really worried about.I think we will come out on top. On Saturday though , thats the one. Fabio will probably partner Barzagli in the heart of the defense. Since Nesta is retired and the Matrix injured I am confident that backed by a partisan Italian crowd, we have the ammo that is needed to pull clear of the group. But it wont be easy. I think Donadoni should start with Buffon, Grosso, Barzagli, Cannavaro, Oddo, Gatusso,Pirlo,De Rossi. De Natale, Toni & Inzaghi. Del should come off the bench. Thats a descent Italian side. France though showed their weekness earlier in the group. The main thing though is that its a Home Tie in MILAN. If we win there then off to Ukraine we go, And we will come back with a result.

Stevie G has the passion and desire to play every game, but consideration should be taken into account! Liverpool cannot afford to loose him for another 3 to 4 weeks.

I agree with you xman. The English wanted Sven out. But Mclaren doesnt change things. He does the same thing Over and Over. How can you play Stuart Downing for F$5KS sake. The owe in an England shirt in midfield.Surely there is Better!

I mclaren is a s***. nothing more. i honestly hope stevie tells him to fuck off…it’s not stevie’s responsibility to bail out mclaren and the england team cause they are pathetic. i hope he doesnt take the pain killer cause its not worth it. there are other players that can play, why risk the injury of a star player? it seems chelsea players are always getting injured before international breaks, although i guess lumpalard hasnt really missed too many. but i remember so many times that like makalele and essien and others pick up little injuries before international breaks and they dont go play for their countries.
