The Drog is a class act.Strong and powerful.He dives alot but is Chelseas stalwart. And he can Finish. Sheva is a shadow of what he was but Drogba and Sheva will certainly install fear into defenders
Crouch & Torres
Finaly Benitez has experimented with Crouch and Torres and this one seems to be the one thats working. Like I said you have to have a man feeding off the target man & the lanky Crouch is ideal for this. With Torres pace,this duo are set for big things

All the critics were quick to label Teves as a man that is only fit to play in the hole behind the two strikers. But Teves & Rooney have been superb. They may have not found the net so often but they are gelling. Certainly the most dangerous and they have proved it

As I said before Rooney is a good player,But his not in the class of great strikers like Villa,Messi, Torres,Shearer, Owen, Raul, Henry...............They leave him far behind.Even the past strikers in the premiership were far more classier....Lineker,Rush. Those owes were class, netted over 20 a season and did it Internationally. Rush maybe not because of Wales but Lineker and Shearer were awesome for England

Swoosh you can talk kak. Crouch and Torres played 21 minutes together. They never really linked up much. The opening goal was scored courtesy of a long kick out by Reina. They played as individuals in those few minutes. Against Besiktas I think Voronin and Crouch played well together.
ReplyDeleteBut typical of a Liverfool, in the same way you guys were jumping after 4 games, 21 minutes and you guys are jumping about a partnership thats only 21 minutes old. You need to give it time and see how it pans out. After 5 or 6 games together can you judge a success of a partnership not 21 minutes.
The reason everyones raving about Roon and Tevez is because they have been linking up well together. The back heel from Rooney setting Tevez up for his 1st against Boro, the touch to set him up for United's 2nd against Kiev and their general all round play over the last month.
Again Liverfools just can't let it lie, United get compliments for an amazing strike partnership, and the Liverfools must draw comaprison.

To contribute 8 goals in 6 games I think is more than a handful.
In the Champs League they have played a total of 2 games together, excluding Tevez's sub appearances against Sporting and Roma and have scored 3 goals (excludes Rooney's 1 against Roma.
Thats 3 goals in 2 games between them. I think thats more than a handful swoosh. Your views are always biased....

Every now and then he pops up with a goal...Recently he has been scoring a goal a match...In case you guys don't realise it, but isn't that what strikers are suppose to do ?
Like I said, he IS good, but he is playing around so good players and suppliers that might even make Nomvete look like a decent player.
And his temper precedes his ability, he is likely to snap when the pressure is on ( WC Germany anyone)

Van Persie just needs to shrug off his injuries and theres plenty more of him to be seen.
