OPEN THE FLOOR-UEFA CHAMPIONS LEAGUE DRAW

GROUP A
Liverpool - Eng
Porto - Por
Marseille - Fra
Besiktas - Tur

We are satisfied with the group.I think Top Spot is a priority.Although the trip to Turkey is always harsh I think all the Kop owes coudnt have asked for a better draw.Im sure you owes agree. Mems,Ary Moosa..Safe journey for Us

GROUP B
Chelsea - Eng
Valencia - Spa
Schalke - Ger
Rosenborg - Nor
A scrap between Valencia and Chelsea for Top Spot should make easy viewing. Both should qualify easily I say

Group C
Real Madrid - Spa
Werder Bremen - Ger
Lazio - Ita
Olympiakos - Gre
Bremen are klaar,Lazio (Sigh) not Top Class. Denks (Rivaldo) is klaar .Breath easy here MrLoonat

Group D
AC Milan - Ita
Benfica - Por
Celtic - Sco
Shakhtar Donetsk - Ukr

This is an interesting group. The Scots are fighters and play with heart, Benfica can stage a few shocks. But they wont stand the might of Milan

Group E
Barcelona - Spa
Lyon - Fra
Stuttgart - Ger
Rangers - Sco
Lyon are not what they were.Barcelona should clean up here.I hope Rangers at least make it to the next round

Group F
Manchester United - Eng
Roma - Ita
Sporting Lisbon - Por
Dynamo Kiev - Ukr

Roma are hurt and angry. They are better equipped this year and Utd's fragile defending leads us to believe that they will be exploited in Europe. Portugal always have the upper hand over Wayne Rooney and the icy trip to Kiev. Lets cross our fingers here Abu's. But I want UTD to qualify and be booted in the next round by an Italian team
Group G
Inter Milan - Ita
PSV Eindhoven - Hol
CSKA Moscow - Rus
Fenerbahce - Tur

Inter have it all since Juve were dumped out of Europe. F#4ken Moffet kows (Cheapskates)

Group H
Arsenal - Eng
Sevilla or AEK Athens* - Spa/Gre
Steaua Bucharest - Rom
Slavia Prague - Cze

I met Mo Bhamgee at the grounds last night. Told him the draw. he said "YOU SEE HENRY IS STRUGGLING AT BARCELONA.I reassured him and told him the group. he was relieved. See you on the weekned Fabregas
FROM THE ABOVE WE CAN SEE HOW SORELY MISSED ARE JUVE.MY HEART HURTS THIS TIME OF THE YEAR....
For the record Bayern Munich ,Klose,Ribery & Toni would have had lots to offer too.
I open the floor on your views regarding the draw!

FROM THE KOP END

Rashid Cassim phoned me last night, chatted about the game. I told him the score and the man was satisfied. He once again reassured me that if Benitez doesnt temper with the rotation policy then this will be our year.

A 4-0 Thumping of Toulouse. Anfield is indeed a sacred place. Especially on a European Night. An impressive night for some debutants also.

As for All the Muggs that said Sammy Hepia the Old DOho (man) . Say Again. He has got Agger to watch his back. Crouch I think we need to see more off and good to see Kuyt get on the scoresheet as well. Come Fridays draw we are ready. I said to Rash Cassim ,bring on anybody and we have to beat them sooner or later.

So I really dont care who we draw. I think United should panic.

Also I took a bet with Rashid Cassim that if Liverpool win the league I will get married Next YEAR.AND MAKE THE NIKAH.

Other than that to the group stages we go.

TRIBUTE

In light of GGMU'S request to make Ole Gunnar Solksjaer a legend that shook the blog, I have decided to pay a tribute to the man instead. I dont think he is worthy of legendry status. But he definately deserves a tribute.

Look there was no better man to come of the bench and when the situation is dead pull it off in the last f#45ken minute. Only Ole could do it. I call it stealing from the poor people. I call it THEFT. You know when someone works hard the whole year,Buys their car, puts 20 inch rims. And someone STEALS it from you after all the hard work

How could we forget the words. "Beckham takes the corner,Sheringham flicks AND ITS SOLKSJAER,MAN UTD HAVE INDEED REACHED THE PROMISED LAND"

The flares in the Nou Camp.

Ole will best be remembered for STEALING from Bayern Munich in the biggest Event in European Football. Alas the lad retired yesterday due to injuries but he will certainly be remembered for pulling Utd out of the Perishaans plenty times

Good Luck Ole, You have served English Football well and a fitting tribute to Babes or the BABY FACED ASSASIN

MUGG OF THE WEEK

In light of the whole Pro 20 debacle and Kallis Ommission from the Pro 20 Squad it was apt that the Mugg of the Week will stem from there. I first debate the issue of whether Kallis should be in the Pro 20 team or not. I think that he should. At least in place of Justin Kemp. We all know how Gazza felt when he was omitted from the English side in France 98. But Kallis's reaction in a very debatable issue leaves us with no choice but to make him the MUGG of The Week. Resigning as Vice Captain and getting all uptite. Because of his reaction in the voice of the cruel lady from the weakest Link. Jacques Kallis you are the MUGG OF THE WEEK !Goodbye. And Boucher you are lucky we didnt take you with Kallis. I know many might not agree with the choice but we open for debate.

Also I want to ask regarding Bosmans injury should the Selectors still pick Kallis or go for someone else?

News – The Dodge Camaro – Muscle Car Reborn
It’s a stunning Muscle Car convertible concept by Dodge. Design cues & styling based on the original Camaro. This convertible concept debuted at the 2007 Detroit motor show. It came in for some rave reviews & Chevy bigwigs are planning a production release by 2009. The car will house a 6 litre small block V8 rumoured to produce a round 300Kw in its original rear wheel drive layout mated with a 6 speed gearbox & lightweight 21 inch aluminium wheels. Absolutely stunning!!

The Civic that we here in SA were robbed of, the one with the 138 Kw motor & 8200rpm rev limit, this from a 1.6litre package – the original Type R. Damn could have a have been a legend on a whole nuther playing field. Check it out it’s a B16 civic Type R turbo’d by Top Fuel. Consisting of a Blitz KKK turbo, 500cc injectors & wicked looking Buddy Club Civic aero kit. The car lashes out a respectable 230kw riding on Blitz Z1 wheels. Neat looking machine!

If I’m not mistaken this bullet appeared in Max Power’s “Beasts from the East” DVD - the flippin thing accelerated like a superbike.

WEEKLY SOOCER ROUND UP

Another great weekend.Although very tiring. But sheer class. We fought with the Marines at Keh Saan.

From a footballing perspective it was even a better one apart from Man Utd winning. But what to do...sometimes YOU CANT HAVE IT ALL YOUR WAY...I spent the whole weekend listining to how Man Utd will bounce back and Fergurson will never retire.......

THEATER OF DREAMS

I got back at about 4pm and then sat down and watched the game, hoping to put the cherry on the cake for my weekend. Mamoo (a mad man utd fan who is my cuzzy) rang me up and started swearing .Next thing the Im watching the box and the Nani Lity lashes a belter. Mamoo screams and cuts the fone, picks me up later for a Steer Burger. I must admit it was a strike worthy of giving Utd the 3 points. The Penalty decision hit the defender on the shoulder. But Man Utd were lucky to get a victory. I agree with Terry Paine MBE, They didnt deserve to get 3 points. But as I said 3 points is 3 points and they are in Motion. I think thats what counts.

Didnt Ferguson stop the lity from somersaulting?

FROM THE KOP END.

Veronin seems to be a great aquisition. And watching Tores skin defenders is an amazing site. But there was a bad omen in that of Charaghers injury. Herpia is old now and I guess Agger has to fill the boots now. Big loss. But hows Mamad Sisoko. The next Patric Viera. 3 points again. If we were not robbed at Chelsea it would have been 9

CHEL$KI

Frank Lampard was on sublime form and the masters of winning ugly showed once again that 3 points is what its all about. Im very impressed with Jhon Obi Mikel. The owe makes it look simple. Mourinho was probably happy. At least he didnt have to slate anybody.

ALWAYS A GUNNER

Cesc Fabregas for President. The litys a re proving to be formidable. I guess I was wrong. Also very impressed with that left back with the blonde hair. Eboues brother. Class Act. Faaiz Oz & Co must have been happy
GLOBAL SOCCER ROUND UP
Serie A got underway and great wins for Roma,AC Milan and Juve. Inter drew which was great. But some great teams here and a long way to go.
In Spain all the big guns won and I met a smiling Riyad Loonat.Madrid won. Cannavaro was or is under alot of pressure but Madrid now look solid with the arrivals of Metzelder,Robben & Shneider. BARCELONA drew 0-0 and Rijkard must F#4k off now. Something is not fresh there. Maybe a new man can do the Job
FORZA JUVE
5-1. All the critics we have opened our Serie A account. A hat trick from Trezeguet. I must admit that it will still be tough but we want CHAMPIONS LEAGUE next year and we will get it. One thing that wooried me though was the Del Piero contract talks. Del is unhappy that jis contract demands have not been met. However the bosses said that Del will never leave. I hope he doesnt. He must see out his career in Turin

AMAZING SOCCER SKILLS

CLASS.Mems Wadee you will enjoy

THEATER OF DREAMS

Perishaans, PERISHAANS, perishaans.

Problems Problems & Problems.

Three games down and only 2 points. This weekend we are counting on Spurs and Derfoe to produce the goods.

Let me make it Short & Sweet. The press in arife with Ferguson dipping into the transfer market as. Who will it be. Will it be Oberfeimi Martins, Nicholas " Bilal" Anelka or Dimitai berbatove or even Peter Crouch maybe

Who will it be ,Or will the toppie take his pride and not buy anyone. Comon Sir Alex,One more Panjabi or Sari!!!!

As for the Internationals last night.Cannavaro was lambasted in the Italian Media for his error strewn display in the 3-1 defeat in HuNGARY. Paul Robinson was the scape goat for England. But they were friendlies,so no critism here except we all seen what a MUGG Michael Carrick is

ASK BABOO & BHENNY

I hope I dont recieve a pasting again like the last time for this post. This time its sport related. So the polls wanted these two to stay and here they are

Dear Bhaboo & Bhenny. In light of the post Open the Floor regarding the WAGS. I am a Wag but a local WAG. Soccer supposed to be a Winter Sport. But from April it starts. Now it ends after Ramadan (The fasting period)which is November. There is just no time to do things. This is a whole day affair. I am a proud WAG but this is just too long. My man actually left a waleemah (post marriage function)the other day to watch his team and play. Isnt that now too much? Then they come home complaining of injuries and coughing. I know someone who played on their engagement day.

BHENNY: My dear. Its bloody ludicrous.Soccer is a 90 minute game. What do they go the whole day for. If you ask me its just a excuse to spend time with their own kind and be macho. Aches and pains then are a sympathy act. I suggest you round up fellow WAGS and shop on a Saturday. The whole Saturday. Then see how they feel. You WAGS can play home an away games. Home games in your area. Sometimes play away games like Menlyn Shopping center and Cedar Square. I heard the shopping is beautiful there. And since it stretches in Summer, practise your free kicks and dribbling by having Post Shopping cocktails and skinny Capacino's out in the Sun. Take a stand you WAGS. As for the fellow that played on his engagement, He is bloody mad to play on such a sacred day.
BABOO:Are bhaba. Who is this chap that left his engagement. What a man. A true man never leaves his team. I must meet him. And the guys that left the Waleemah.Dons I tell you. Reminds me of the story of the guy that fell and never held the railing because he coudnt spill the weed in his hand. When the paramedics found him he still refused to surender and open his fist.Thats committment. Thats spirit people. I dont understand these WAGS. They want husbands that look like Cannavaro but they only want him to spend 90 minutes a week on the pitch. They want to eat Hagen Daaz every day but they want their hubbys to buy it from Nagins. What the f$5k. Then they sit and watch the footballers on TV and say Oooh.I want my husbands legs to look like this and look at the syle,And look at Fabio,Now thats a man.......etc etc.
Sunday is a Football day. Men must bond. Men must train so that when the WAGS walk with you we can make them look good. Beside the more time you spend on the pitch the fitter you are and Im sure every WAG would like a fit man in the sack. The other day I met a footballer who listened to the WAG. I went to his pozie (house),bastard was sitting and watching Desperate Housewives with a electric belt strapped around his waist next to his WAG eating a cinibon. I said to him what are you doing. He said Im training.I cant go out ,my wife said its too cold. I said how the f#4k are you training. He said Im getting a six pack with this electric belt my wife bought me from Verimark. She paid a fortune. I spend more time at home and the current does the rest. I said gimme the belt. If thats the case I can get a six pack while catching a bj and smoking a guaai. What the f#4k. We need more men like ROY KEANE, The man that went AWOL at the Waleemah and the owe that played on his Engagement Day. Thats commitment in relationships
*we apologise for Baboos language, but thats Baboo
PLEASE PEOPLE DONOT POST PERSONALL COMMENTS AND GET FINIKI

QUOTE OF THE WEEK

In a statement, Styles said: "All referees enter into matches hoping not to make any mistakes but understanding that they may happen, what none of us want is for any mistake to potentially affect the result of the match. "Yesterday, in mistakenly awarding a penalty, I accept that I may have affected the result of the match and for that I apologise."

OPEN THE FLOOR

WAGS=Wives and Girlfirends of Footballers.

On a smaller scale I have taken a few badaams and some of my girlfriends to watch me play soccer. They came along but most of the time it was "Swoosh, lets go shopping or Why does soccer take up the whole afternoon.etc etc etc.

On a larger scale Do you honestly mean to tell me that Becks went to LA to further his soccer career or for his kids. he went for POSH. The Wags of pro footballers have it all. Lets see,a good looking footballer, shopping sprees, money, fast cars, cosmopolitan lifestyles and the priviledge to visit some of the best countries in the world. And Still they want it their way.

Last week Roy Keane came out and slated the WAGS for being decision makers and the players for not having the balls to stand up to them. Keane said that a player refuse to sign because his wife wanted to stay in London. You see thats the problems with the WAGS. They want London,Milan,Paris, Rome, Barcelona, Monaco and then and then only can their hubby's sign the contract

For us though fortunately we just get slated for wasting a Sunday. But I guarantee you if we were Pro Footballers and raking in 50 ooo quid a week.It would be a different story

So I open the floor. SHOULD THE WAGS HAVE A SAY IN A FOOTBALLERS CAREER.(bearing in mind that they already have lives like princess'es?

Is it important where your wives or girlfriends are based. Pyaar (LOVE) would be standing with your man through thick and thin and even settling in Bethal for Bethal FC. Thats what love is all about?

FOR OUR FEMALE READERS IF YOU WERE A WAG, WOULD YOU PUT FOOTBALL FIRST OR DUNYA (MATERIAL THINGS-like shopping, hotel, house and where you stay and who you socialise with) FIRST AND YOUR DARLING HUBBY SECOND

"Another WAGs Boutique star has got involved in the Roy Keane debate
Jadene Bircham WAG of Yeovil midfielder Marc Bircham, has supported the claims made by Sunderland manager, that WAGs having the upper hand.
The
WAGs Boutique star confesses she had a big say in stopping husband Marc uprooting their family to Canada or the USA this summer, when he was released by his team QPR.
Jadene says: “Roy has got it right, wives are having a bigger say in what the players do.”
She continues: “This summer we had three clubs in front of us — Toronto, LA Galaxy and Yeovil.”
Needless to say Marc is now playing for Yeovil, so the
WAG got her way in the end.
However
Jadene adds: “I do wonder how many wives would actually be with these players if they were not earning fortunes. I knew Marc when he was nobody and playing in Millwall’s youth team.”
I bet Roy didn’t think he was going to cause this much fuss!"

WE WERE FU#4KEN ROBBED

How would you like it if you worked hard.woke up for fajr (morning parayer) went to the Health & Racket ,Now Virgin H&R just sounds like you did something strenous. got back showered. And then washed the car.Wax On.Wax Off. Then you sand the floor. Then You PAINT THE FENCE.

aND THEN SOME referee called Rob Styles f34ks everything Up.Whats even betteris that while you were Sanding the FLoor. Your Ali naeighbours were in the PERISHAANS (Problems). To Sum it up that was the feeling on Sunday.

So lets take Rob Styles to task first.Malouda you should be ashamed of yourself. Now we ask ourselves is Styles a victim of the THEORY OF THE KLEEPAH(*for definition see the post THEORY OF THE KLEEPAH).It looked liek Abrahamovic gave him a hundred bucks half time. Never in my life have I seen such a dubious decision. Its decisions like this that make or break TITLE CONTENDERS.So in the voice of the cruel lady in the weakest link.ROB STYLES YOU ARE THE MUGG OF THE WEEK.GOODBYE

FROM THE KOP END & CHEL$KI

Chelsea I believe are blessed with luck. But they dont look like champions. There is something seriously lacking there. Im not going to waste time on them.Maybe when their injury woes are sorted out they will be formidable. As for Liverpool It was indeed a pleasure watching caroet football.Penant & Risse coming in from the deep.An dfor our lity Tores he looked a bit unfit but finishing is wjat we lacked in the past and clinical he is. He has pace and exposed the Mugg Ben Haim. Stevie G,I thought was exellent. And this time I see conviction & purpose in Liverpool. We looked class. And that feeling that we Want Bigger and Better things is more eminant. If it wasnt for this d$$s ref we were on our bycycle.

ALWAYS A GUNNER.

Zam Ram, Lehman is old and he cost you owes dearly. Perhaps its time to get another keeper. How could you ba23tards stink when UTD want to stink by themselves. As for Van Persie I always said,Watch him this year. If he can stay injury free.

THEATER OF DREAMS.

When I write this post its like writing a Pyaar letter. That igniting feeling dep inside. DId we ever think that the MUGGS would f#4k up this badly. Some timers at a function were actually saying that Ferguson will be sacked. A bit too overzealous I think. I met mamoo after the game. The man was p#4sed off. He said Utd played sh$%. DId they? Or was Sven who knows England and its mistresses had them figured out.

My question. Why does Fergsuon continue to play with a lone striker up front. Ok fair enough he has injuries and suspensions. But I agree with Doolah Ackals.Utd lack a six yard box striker. Like Cole,Yorke,Sheringham and Van the man. These owes were not skillfull but they could put away and poach. CROUCH has been touted as the ideal man for this. Maybe CROUCH TO uTD AND heinze to Liverpool.Whatever. I am thrilled and happy as the score read Man City 1 Man utd 0. What seems to be the problem?Lucky I have a terrible flu and I dont have the strength to take you man Utd f4%kers to the Dogs. But what il do is throw the carcasse out to the Hungry Dogs. Boys fromthe Kop.Thy all yours
The rest of the Premiership saw some expected results. One good thing Bergson. Spurs are fired up and you owes must not let us down Next Week against United.
I was disappointed with Sunderland.I expected Roys lads to beat Wigan
Anyways, taking my meds and hitting the sack for a while

News – Aston’s DBS
Aston Martin’s revival over the last 5 or 6 years has led to the introduction of some of stunning supercars like the DB9. Not quite as excellent as a Ferrari in the performance department or user friendly due its flawed flappy pedal gearbox but if you’ve ever seen a DB9 in the flesh strutting its stuff you will be amazed. A beautiful car with a superb sound track. Since Aston have regained there independence just recently from Ford motor company, their latest release the DBS seems to be exactly what die hard Aston fans have been waiting for. This weight saving Aston is constructed on an aluminium chassis with extensive use of Carbon fibre on the panels boot lid & bonnet. A first is the use of carbon ceramic brakes to further reduce weight by up to 65Kg. The track orientated Aston allows you to fully disengage the stability control & together with its straight six manual gearbox that would amount to a hardcore track attack. That’s right this Aston has done away with the F1 style paddles for a manual derivative to truly engage the driver. Its hand made aluminium V12 delivers 380Kw with plenty of twist peaking out at 520Nm. Capable of 300Km/h this artwork on wheels will sprint to 100Km/h in about 4s.

Motor : 6.0 Litre V12 – 6 speed manual
Power: 380Kw 520Nm @ 5000rpm
Performance: 0-100Km/h – 4.2s Top Speed: 300Km/h

Pricing in UK equates to about 2.2mil..

MID WEEK SOCCER ROUND UP

THE VOLCANO ERUPTS AT POMPEI AGAIN

What a way to start my birthday. 1-1 and 4 points lost in the first two games. I must admit I was surprised again by the result. Especially the lack of sms's I recieved from the Man Utd owes. Buts what happening guys. Is the Perishaans (problems) that bad. And the lity got sent off. You see thats what happens when theres frustration. Its always Utd's Story. They start squealing. But the greatest thing is that 4 points lost by the CHAMPIONS and for the boys from the KOP could we have asked for anything better.

Trivia Question? Who were the 4 major signings made by Ferguson?

I must admit though Tevez is class. Power and fight upfront. You Muggs should thank your lucky stars you have him.
Why did the lity have to headbut. Pompeye were ten men. Stupid. Is it just emotion and passion that made the lity do what he did. Oh yah the same passion he had wen he ran a 100 miles to the referee to get Rooney Sent Off
FROM THE KOP END
I agreed with Mems when he mentioned Veronin. And what a strike. A wonder Strike. A match this early in Europe is always tough let alone be it an away match. But Rafa is a tactical genius in Europe. An away goal to the good. All but easy at Anfield now.
On the whole good displays by Wengers lities, Chelsea and the Drog and Svens Man City. This indeed seems to be a craker of a season

HAPPY BIRTHDAY

Tanti auguri a te, tanti auguri a te, tanti auguri a te, tanti auguri ..... , tanti auguri a te .... Swoosh."

Today is my birthday. I wont say how old I am this time, but be gentle on the comments and well wishes guys.

In the past wherever I have been and whatever I did my life was like being close to a mirror. Still I say. Image is Everything.I always thought that this observation would thrill all those people who believe or who would want to believe that my complex and controversial innerself is not a golden child but merely and Incubus spawned for the next generation of mall rats. But then there are those few seconds when all the crud in the world and that phoniness is behind you and there comes a time when you have to be totaly honest with yourself. You have to assume personal responsibility for your life because in the end nobody else can see you in that mirror. You can only see yourself.I often think to myself like what has made me tick throughout my life. And at the end of the day finding Inner Joy is what its all about.
In my life I often get caught up in the warp and weft of reality to believe outrageous and provocative catchphrases which is exactly why i mouth things so insouciantly.Nevertherless it has made me the bomb in my crusade to expose me as who I am. Courage is an attribute that is someones best and courage is not the absence of fear but the ability to face the fear and overcome it.
In the end though the fear that I might live with regret is just scary and people are the type that they can let it snowball inside them. Life is a gamble, I have no regrets. You win some and you lose some. It is the comparison between the joy of winning and the fear of losing. Now that is the true aphrodisiac of a gambler. Its about being capable of going out there and being what you want to be,which is 100% dedicated and willing to pay the price and do whatever it takes to WIN.
I guess now people will feel that there is an element of poetic justice in my identity. People may have their theories and opinions that may contain truth & falsity. And it may even explain the extra-ordinary that is characterised by me.
In the end though I have a natural instinct to stand by the people that stood for me. People ask my Why do you do it Swoosh. What are you some kind of Adrenalin junkie or something. I wont say a damn thing. You wanna know why .Its about the people next to you and THATS THAT.THATS ALL IT IS. To conclude though there is definately a Dichotomy between what I project in Life. I have indeed thought about it long and hard. As a person I am simple and low key.

I am who i am.I am Swoosh
Heroes are remembered but Legend never die

AND SO TO MY CREW WHO HAVE STOOD BY ME,TO ALL THE READERS OF THE BLOG THAT STOOD BY ME AND SUPPORTED ME ALL THE WAY, AND TO THE BABES OF POETRY IN MOTION FOR THEIR SUPPORT AND WELL WISHES THE FOLLOWING BELOW IS FOR YOU

"I dont know what to say, the biggest day in our professional lives all comes to us one day. A special day I say
In life we kneel as a unit or we going to crumble. inch by inch, play by play. We in Hell right now.Thats life!
. The passion and the spirits of the past will be inside me again. It will be just like that incredible night in 1997 in Pizza Hut. They will be flags, banners, costumes, scarves, a deafening cauldron of noise, Main Stands, All rows singing for the boys
Now theres two things ,We can stay here and get the shiT$ kicked out of us or we can fight into the night. We can climb out , one inch at a time.

You know when you get old in life, things get taken from you , I mean its part of life, But you only learn that when you start losing stuff. You find out life is this game of inches.
The occasion really gets to me, You know you get older every year. We can buy time and little designer gifts, But we cant by atmosphere.

People will say to calm their nerves. Giving you a few pointers, But then we have to cross that white line to the most exhillerating day & night of our lives

In life , the margin for error is so small, I mean one half a step to late or too early, and you dont quite make it, one half a second too slow or too fast and you dont quite catch it.The inches we need are in every break of the game, Every second every minute. In my crew we fought for that inch. In my crew we tear ourselves and everyone around us to pieces for that inch. We claw with our fingernails for that inch.Because we know when we add up all those inches thats going to make the most difference between winning and losing. In any fight its the guy thats willing to lose that inch. Ands I know if Im going to have any life any more its because Im willing to fight and die for that inch. Now I cant make you do it. You gotta look at the guy next to you. Look into his eyes, U gonna see a guy who is willing to die, who will sacrifice himself for the owes because he knows you will do the same for him. Thats a unit gentleman and either we yield now as a unit or we will die as individuals. Thats Life guys . Thats all it is
So this is it , the day has come and all roads lead to this special day. We can still do it with fire with passion, with belief. We can do this together because we fought to this day,Today we going to make history. Together in hope ,in dreams, together we stand shoulder to shoulder because together we can make our dreams come true "

To my crew that we fought over the years. We encountered thrills and spills, happiness and disapointment. We went where religeon,or the color of your skin didnt matter. We watched over the back of the next man as he would watch over yours. We were always the first to set foot on the battlefield and the last to leave. And we never ever left anyone behind.THANK YOU FOR THAT

OPEN THE FLOOR

Sorry thanks for the comment. Heavy weekend I was fast asleep there!!!.Let me rephrase it.
What are your thoughts on the squad for the Pro 20 World Cup
Graeme Smith (captain), Goolam Bodi, Loots Bosman, Mark Boucher, AB de Villiers, JP Duminy, Herschelle Gibbs, Justin Kemp, Albie Morkel, Morne Morkel, Makhaya Ntini, Vernon Philander, Shaun Pollock, Thandi Tshabalala, Johan van der Wath.
Is this a squad worthy of winning the Cup?
Good to see Thandi in the squad. Ommisions like Langeveld,Kallis and Nel.Kallis and Nel should have been in the squad I feel. Especially Nel for Aggression.
I also want to open the floor on Should Squads be picked on Merrit or quota. As I said Telemachus went on a royal holiday and was responsible in HOW STELLA GOT HER GROOVE BACK!
Pleas elets keep comments clean and no racism will be tolerated

10 F$#KEN MEN READING

What a nice long weekend. What does our headlines say. Ten F#4ken Reading. Wednesday evening I wont talk about. I was in the class Cannavaro collecting the Golden Ball in Milan. Thursday and Friday I chilled and then got a call from the fired up Herbly about the Fantasy Football. Saturday I opened the season at hazrat with Herbly next to me watching MARTINS NOTCH A DOUBLE. Saturday night I was treated to a Gymynastics spectecular and lost a very important bet. Sunday I struggled on the pitch against Forsburg city and it ended off with an sms from a Kop Purist.

"Swoosh,Take the f3$kers to the cleaners on the blog.Ten men Reading".And Steve Sidwell plays for Chelsea."
Woza What A weekend.lets get down to the match Analysis

FROM THE KOP END
Rash Cassim phoned me and slated Benitez for playing Alonso. I agreed with Rash.Play Macherano.Let him break and give Gerard more freedom. Then the United f4%kers startes sms'ing me and belting me. And then let us all rise to our Captain marvel. What a freekick Stevie G.I must admit I was in the perishaans ealier when Barry equlaised. I said the same shit different year. But 3 points is three points. What do the generals from the Kop have to say about the opener. Im all ears.?

THEATER OF DREAMS

Who would have aniticipated the result 0-0 against a ten men Reading. It was synonymous to an Indian Aunty buying ten panjaabi's (*stunning indian garments worn at weddings) and going to a wedding and no one commenting on all the expensive purchases like Ferguson's Buys. United peppered the Reading goal and the two best opportunities came from Giggs and Paul Scholes spurning a chance from just 7 yards. United coudnt finish and what makes it worst is that Wayne Who? Wayne Fucken Rooney. is out for 3 months. Good news for Liverpool but bad news for England. Just as well Reading didnt have a Van Percy and someone to exploit the K#$k defense. So what the Generals have to say. 3 points is 3 points. As MR Valley from Lenz High used to say. Comprende

ALWAYS A GUNNER
I thought the blog was going to start stinking again. If it wasnt for Van Percy.Wenger and his lities would have started off like Man Utd. But If Van Percy stays fit. Faaiz Oz,Zam Ram ,Jive & Co will be smiling. Whats up with the Walcott lity.We dont hear of him. Maybe Sven will take him to City. What is your guys analysis Boys?

CHEL$KI
Funny start to the season.Chelsea conceding two goals in the opener. Jose looks like he lost his fiqr (belief). He looks like he just wants his contract to finish. Good on the lads Pizarro and Malouda. But Chelsea just seem lost.

Bergson we expected big things from Spurs. They didnt deliver against a fired up Roy Keanes Sunderland. Azee I told you that the toppie Sven has big things up his sleeve. Good start for him also. Jame's will be James for Pompey. But on the whole it was an exciting start to the season.
FORZA JUVE

I watched the trophy Moretti. A class strike by Alex Del Piero against Napoli was enough to see Juve through. Inter though clinched the tournament with wins over both Juve and Napoli. I wasnt happy with the performance but look we back in Serie A and hopefully we can come Top 4 and get back into Europe and rebuild. I think thats the most realistic

News – Max Power vs. Speed and Sound

Since the arrival of Max Power on the local scene the competition with Speed n Sound Magazine has really intensified. Theres an interesting letter about references in this months SnS where the editor responds by taking a swipe at the Max Power mag. Max Power’s quality of journalism still seems to hold the upper hand with backup from their international base of reporters, they bring you the best of both worlds featuring cars from around the world and the cream of the local crop. Originally born in the UK many years ago you can’t help but notice where Speed n Sound get some their ideas from. However Speed and Sound’s sales figures almost doubles that of Max Power but Max Powers growth rate seems to be faster over the last year. It’s good that this market is tightly contested as you will definitely get value for your money. Speed and Sound focuses only on the local scene with a lot of local advertisers you’ll be kept up to date with local cars & sellers. Take this month issues from both magazines, packed with great cars and product news, good value for money whichever your pick

Oh and the Max Power features a lot of local badaams.

Mazda 6 MPS
Mazda have revised their 6 series with a sharper looks & some scintillating performance figures with the flagship MPS model. The MPS features all wheel drive with active torque split, a 2.3 litre 4 cylinder 191Kw Turbo motor and a close ratio 6 speed transmission system. Clearly tuned for all round performance. The straight line figures are by no means lame with a claimed 0-100km/h of 6.6s. The best feature is the power to “moola” figure. The 191Kw AWD car will set you back 322K not bad when a lesser powered german contenders like the Audi 2.0Tdi(125Kw) & BM 2.0 d cost around the same. However in its class of AWD drive sedans its directly up against the 2.5liter Subaru WRX making 169Kw & Audi’s 3.2liter A4 sedan. Subaru claims a better 100 Km/h dash by only a couple of milliseconds but its top speed is limited to 210Km/h, & in the left corner Audi’s 3.2litre 188Kw A4 costs around 390K. The Audi will struggle to match the sub 6 second dash at the reef, but it is limited to 250Km/h. The Mazda comes with 18” inch wheels & sunroof as standard while its contenders offer the same as extras. Tell me which would be your pick ?

Motor: 2.3litre 4 cylinder DISI turbo motor, 6 speed gearbox
Power: 191Kw & 380Nm @ 3000rpm
Performance: 0-100Km/h 6.6s Top Speed: 240+ Km/h.

Mods - Lowered Suspensions
We backtracking a bit to focus on lowered suspensions cos of a request I received in the comments secition. I covered suspensions briefly a few weeks ago but heres some depth:
If you’re a spirited driver or occasionally visit the track lowering your cars suspension will aid your driving in 3 key areas.
Lower the cars center of gravity for better aerodynamics & performance.
Due to the lower center of gravity: - the vehicle will be easier to control when cornering at speed.
- nose dive will be reduced under heavy breaking for better overall stability.

Also a reduced clearance gap between the fender & tyre enhances the car for a sportier look, which is probably the main reason most laaities are motivated by. Offhand I can think of 3 economy based springs that are widely available :
Sportakar,
Koenig
& N Force,
which cost under a grand fitted & aligned. These units can be purchased at stores like Kwik Fit, AutoStyle , Raceline, Powerflo etc. You looking at about 500 bucks for the springs & another 400 bucks for fitment & wheel alignment. They are generally available in 40 & 60mm drop options

The quality springs that come to mind are brands like
Eibach,
H&R,
Bilstein & Koni
these are quality German engineered units that costs up to 3K .
Because a lowered suspension basically consists of a shorter spring, ideally you should change your shocks to a sport shock which is a shortened shock. However with brands like Eibach the 40mm drop can be used with a standard shock as per manufacturers guarantee. The ride quality with the top end brands like Eibach are also much more comfortable when compared to economy springs. With brands like Koenig & NForce the 40mm drop will work with a standard shock but the ride will be much harder. If you going any lower than 40mm with let say a 60mm drop on a Mk1 Golf running a standard shock be prepared for a couple of dislocated kidneys in time. Every pot hole you hit will sound like a front end smash. Jamex offer a sport shock & spring combo which works fairly well on all Golf’s Mk1 to Mk4.

Secondly we have Adjustable Suspensions or Coil Over’s which consists of a shock & spring combo that can be adjusted to a specific ride height depending on track or road conditions or your mood. The shocks in these combo’s are engineered to handle the abuse and the ride quality is generally better. Again brands like Eibach offer a great package here. Other brands include Koni and Bilstein.

Finally you could also have your existing suspension springs compressed to a specific ride height, but there are no guarantees here. Depending on wear, springs might react or behave differently after the compression. For example all 4 springs might not end up being the exact same height. I’ve spoken to guys that have had good experiences & a lot of pretty bad experiences hence no guarantees. Stay away from sellers like “Van Zyls Spring works” if they mess up they’ll accept no responsibility. The cost is about 70 buck per spring compressed.

I bought me a set of Eibach springs from Autoquip and the ride quality differs substantially from my previous Koenig experience. They are also available at Sport Tech & Raceline. Eibach have a complete range of suspension options available for street & track use, their technology is used in F1, WRC Rallying & Nascar so you know you buying quality. A nice addition is a front strut bar to ensure that shocks work in tandem & added stability. Phone around for the best deal & test your cars suspension before fitment. Fitment is fairly straightforward but could workout cheaper from some one who can you sell you the product & do fitment & wheel alignment at the same time, like Autoquip or KwikFit. Remember to use some guile before paying & choen da okes to sell on OOPLING!! Save some dosh for that turbo mod bru.

MrB’s top tip – Eibach Pro Kit 40mm drop suspension with a front strut bar, Gabriel or Monroe gas shocks & a set of deep dish 17’s. Any readers with coil overs ? Give us a comment …

Drag Scene – Honda S2000
Seriously cool looking Honda S2000 modded by High End Performance, it boosts a SC61 twister, Tial 38mm wastegate & 750 cc injectors. The aerodynamic kit is completed with some exquisite carbon bits from Seibon. Grip courtesy of Volk Racing 18 inch wheels sporting Falken rubber.
The car has great potential churning out a claimed 260Kw at 0.6 bar.- check it…

Schnitzer Z4
It’s the Schnitzer Z4 with a funky colour scheme, it makes 10 extra Kilowatts compared to the standard Z4 M Coupe rated at 260Kw, kitted out with 20inch wheels, skirtings & roof spoiler.
