AGASSI ADMITS TO DRUGS

On Tuesday evenings there is no better feeling than belting the ball. Last night I slugged it out and got some tips from Mo Canada.First set I was competitive.Second set he bombed  me off the court. But great feeling to get back on the courts again and slug it out with the lads. You have to be on top of your game here..anything short or soft and its curtains. So still struggling but getting there. Was good to get a Doubles Work out playing with Mo Canada as well. But I was creamed 6-3 ,6-1 lol.And fitness....ay dont talk

But for me I was devastated when Agassi admitted that he had consumed Crystal meth or Tik Or Cat....in 1997 when he was on a slump. The revelation has shocked tennis stars both former and present. The ATP are in the Dog Box for throwing the case out in which Agassi lied and said his drink was spiked.
Ok it wasnt performance enhancing Drugs but this has threw the sport into a loop especially since the revelation comes from a Champion. Why did Agassi admit now.Should he have kept quiet. Is it Good for the sport. Comments please.

Any idiotic and childish comments will be deleted. What are your views?

CHELSEA HANDED TRANSFER BAN

Chelsea handed transfer ban
Fifa act over Gael Kakuta transfer

Chelsea: Transfer ban over Kakuta deal
This decision confirms our aim to ensure contractual stability. It is an important ruling for football in general.
Fifa have banned Chelsea from registering any new players in the next two transfer windows.
The world's governing body have handed down the punishment after French clubs Lens made an official complaint over Chelsea's signing of their young player
Gael Kakuta in 2007.
Fifa's Dispute Resolution Chamber (DRC) has now found in Lens' favour and ruled that the Blues are 'jointly and severally liable'.
As such, the Stamford Bridge club have been banned from signing players over the next two transfer windows, which means they will not be able to bring in any new faces until 2011.
18-year-old Kakuta, a regular in Chelsea's reserve side, has also been banned from playing for the next four months and fined £680,000.
Chelsea are also liable over Kakuta's fine, and they also will have to pay Lens £113,000 in compensation.
A Fifa spokesperson stated: "This decision confirms our aim to ensure contractual stability. It is an important ruling for football in general."
Statement
The full statement from Fifa reads: "On the occasion of its last meeting held on 27 August 2009, the Dispute Resolution Chamber (DRC) was called to pass a decision in a contractual dispute opposing the French club Lens to the French player Gael Kakuta and the English club Chelsea.
"The French club had lodged a claim with Fifa seeking compensation for breach of contract from the player and requesting also sporting sanctions to be imposed on the player and the English club for breach of contract and inducement to breach of contract respectively.
"The DRC found that the player had indeed breached a contract signed with the French club. Equally, the DRC deemed it to be established that the English club induced the player to such a breach.
"As a result the player was condemned to pay compensation in the amount of €780,000, for which the club, Chelsea, are jointly and severally liable, and sporting sanctions were imposed on both the player and Chelsea in accordance with art. 17 par. 3 and 4 of the Regulations on the Status and Transfer of Players.
"A restriction of four months on his eligibility to play in official matches has been imposed on Kakuta. Chelsea are banned from registering any new players, either nationally or internationally, for the two next entire and consecutive registration periods following the notification of the present decision. Furthermore, the club, Chelsea, have to pay Lens training compensation in the amount of €130,000."
Appeal
Chelsea, who have yet to comment on the sanction from Fifa, do have the right to appeal the decision to the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS).
The Blues are not the first club to have been punished in such a way.
Roma were also given a ban for two transfer windows following defender Philippe Mexes' move from Auxerre in 2004.
Roma appealed to the CAS and had the ban cut to one transfer window. If the same situation was repeated it would mean Chelsea being unable to sign players until next summer.

Will this scupper the blues title hopes. What if they suffer injuries.....Roman must be crying....All this over Ka kurta

R.I.P SIR BOBBY

The name synonymous with the north-east, and England, has died after losing his cancer battle

Famed coach Sir Bobby Robson died during the early hours of Friday morning after losing his protracted cancer battle. The 76-year-old has fought the disease for the best part of two decades, but recently admitted that the lung cancer was going to be the likely victory. He said last year, "My condition is described as static and has not altered since my last bout of chemotherapy... I am going to die sooner rather than later. But then everyone has to go sometime and I have enjoyed every minute."The legendary trainer is widely considered to be a gentleman of the sport, and originally made his name as a deep-lying forward during the 1950's when he represented west London club Fulham. He bragged a promising strike-rate and transferred to West Bromwich Albion during the middle of the decade, before returning to the Cottagers in 1962.He turned to management in 1968, representing Fulham, Ipswich - where he helped the team excel, England - where he gave the nation the greatest hope of glory since 1966, PSV Eindhoven, Sporting Lisbon, FC Porto, Barcelona, and Newcastle United. With Ipswich, he took an undesired outfit into a period of sustained success that saw Town pick up two League runner-up medals, an FA Cup winners medal, and an UEFA Cup winners medal. His exploits with the Tractor Boys earned him the Three Lions post, where he was to famously end up branding Diego Maradona a "rascal" for his hand-of-God goal, and four years later he consoled Paul Gascoigne following an unsuccessful penalty shoot-out in the semi-final of Italia '90. He won two Dutch titles with PSV, championships with Porto, and a European Cup Winners Cup with Barca. The Bobby Robson Foundation was set up on March 2008 after he was diagnosed with cancer for the fifth time. He had defeated the disease in the early 1990's, when he contracted bowel cancer, and a malignant melanoma. Despite his deteriorating condition, he still travelled to see his beloved football clubs in the north-east, and could often be found - sporting a hat and in good spirits - cheering on teams such as Newcastle United. His passion for the game endeared him to millions.

As mentioned in the article Sir Bobby will leave us with two famous expressions. One was when Maradonas goal was allowed in Mexico 86 and the other when Gazza was yellow carded in Italia 90.I remember Lineker gesturing to the bench that Gazza wa crying.
Also he remains as the most successful England Manager. He was better than Sven, Keegan....and came the closest since 66 on lifting the World Cup and it was he that gave Fat Ronaldo the cookie jar at Barcelona
RIP Sir Bobby you are a legend

MICHAEL OWEN TO MAN UTD

OWEN TO MAN UTD.Is this a good or bad thing?
I feel the same pain the MANCS must have felt when the Guvee came to us.

If he stays free from injury.Could be good for the MANCS. They needed a six yard box striker and with a world cup place on offer this could be a different Michael Owen. How could you Michael?

SPECIAL ONE AT ANFIELD

L iverpool Targeting Jose Mourinho To Replace Rafa Benitez - Report
The Reds are lining up a new gaffer, and they want him to be extra Special...Mike Maguire

27 Feb 2009 05:04:37

Rafael Benítez UK tabloid The Sun claims that Premier League giants Liverpool have been sounding out Jose Mourinho, the Inter coach, as a potential replacement for Rafael Benitez. The latter trainer's future at Anfield has come under intense scrutiny in recent weeks, and it was reported recently that he had decided to leave at the end of the season due to contractual issues. However, following the Reds' landmark 1-0 win over Real Madrid in the Champions League on Wednesday, the Spaniard declared that he would not leave Merseyside.Nevertheless, such was the state of unrest before the Bernabeu clash, club co-owners Tom Hicks and George Gillett began mulling over possible candidates to man the helm - and Mourinho was singled out.The former Chelsea boss announced recently that he would like to return to England at some point, and he has often been linked with Manchester United and his old haunt at Stamford Bridge. An unnamed source said, “The Americans [Hicks and Gillett] had read Mourinho was interested in returning to the Premier League and wanted to know if he meant it.“But it wasn’t a firm approach or a job offer. It was more a case of testing the water in case Rafa did decide to walk out.” Liverpool came close to appointing the self-styled 'Special One' before eventually settling on Benitez back in 2004, and they could yet mount another assault should the current incumbent continue to wrangle for more control over transfers.
